Felix still plays and sounds great! Plus, he has a great band that adds a new spin on all The Rascals' classic hits. During the instrumental breaks he samples other rock classics and gets the crowd fully engaged and singing along. 90 minutes of pure fun.

This show blew me away! I have always been a Felix and Rascals fan, but this was such a special show. Being a Nashville resident and knowing how amazing our symphony is... the performance with Felix was start studded and GROOVIN! Thank you for bringing super talent together and making Nashville a Beautiful Morning every day :)

FELIX SOUNDS AS GOOD AS HE DID WHEN HE RECORDED THE SONGS BACK IN THE 60'S

Have always enjoyed "Day After Day" and "Come And Get It" by Badfinger, Rick Derringer performing "Hang On Sloopy", Rock -N-Roll Hoochie Koo", and even "Frankenstein", then The Lovin' Spoonful and The Rascals closing out the night. Incredible evening!

The VIP seats were great. The entertainers seems like they were genuinely appreciative of us, the fans. Danced a ton right up to the stage. The music was a blast from the past :).

Joey might've been sick, he struggled. Rick Derringer was absolutely fantastic. Rascals are always great. Loving spoonful started slow but finished with great songs.

You know that wonderful, fleeting feeling you get when the radio rewinds to one of your absolutely favorite songs from your youth? You are instantly transported back to a better time - riding in the car with your dad, hanging with your friends, at the middle school dance when you notice that Kathy's dress is hanging a little different than it did last year, and realizing that maybe cooties aren't so bad after all... Now multiply that ten-fold, twenty-fold! And you have just a hint of how incredible HippieFest at Tioga Downs was. Three straight hours of heart-pounding, spirit-lifting flashbacks of some of my absolutely favorite bands playing my absolutely favorite hits! Hours more of flashbacks of those flashbacks, researching and reminiscing about times gone by, those songs still running through my head a week later... All that and a great dinner to boot! And best yet, sharing that trip down Memory Lane arm-in-arm with my best girl! A truly unforgettable evening!

What a great show . Just hearing the songs one after another was amazing. I knew every word to every song, great night and great venue.

The show was advertised as Felix Cavaliere's Rascal, when it was actually Rockin The Holidays with Felix Cavaliere. It was a combination of Christmas songs (Felix just released a Christmas CD) and the Rascals hits. It was a very good show and Felix sounded very good

Excellent show! nice trip down memory lane. A few "blabber mouths" a row or two behind us decided it was a great time to have a loud conversation but they stopped when I looked daggers at them.

First time at the Penn's Peak venue and was pleasantly surprised by the great hall and clear sight lines. Sound was very good and the band, although missing three of the four originals , still had the Rascal sound. Husband and wife team that shared vocals and guitar/piano backup was very impressive, esp. the great version of " O Holy NIght" by the female singer which was a highlight of the holiday themed songs as Felix was in the festive mood and had put out a new holiday album which he sang extensively from. When they sang the "golden oldie" hits the Cavaliere sound was there but time had weakened his voice and instrumentals bailed him out quite a few times. Overall, nostalgia won out as died in the wool "Young Rascal" fans such as I enjoyed the evening thoroughly. As a change of pace he even brought the Lehighton HS choir to help sing some early Christmas caroles which had to be a major thrill for all but the soloist who appeared to get a bit of stage fright and forgot some lyrics.

This concert was great fun for the Christmas Season. So good to see Felix and hear some of the Rascals songs along with Holiday songs.

I love Felix - I have attended as many of his performances in and around the Chicago area (and beyond!) over the past few years and have always admired his ability to please the crowd. Felix puts 110% into his music and it shows - he has everyone rockin' in their seats! He has a unique musical styling that resonates throughout all his own music, but I felt that this "styling" put Felix a little out of his element when singing traditional Christmas songs, especially with the choir. Still - I enjoyed every minute of this performance - including the excellent numbers performed by the Warren Township High School Choir - but would have loved it even more if Felix and his group had just performed their own songs. The young lady who is one of his back-up singers blew me away with her rendition of "O Holy Night" - what a powerful and amazing voice! Thanks, Felix, for another fun evening!

I've followed and have been a big fan of Felix Cavaliere since the inception of the Young Rascals. Felix still has his pipes-that sharp, bluesy bark and that probably led to the downfall of his performance-song selection. With his sharp, bluesy bark, he is probably the last person who should be trying to sing a Christmas carol. I was anticipating more of the deep Hammond organ and hard driving rock that the Young Rascals were known for in their early years (You Better Run, Come On Up, etc.) Instead, we had a hard rocker icon trying his best to be "smooth" with Christmas carols and songs. Oil and water! C'mon Felix, rock on! Leave the Christmas carols to Justin Bieber.

Felix Cavaliere has about a 3 note range. He simply can no longer sing. As disappointing as that was that the organ riffs so familiar to Rascals fans were missing too. His female backing singer was outstanding when featured. The backing musicians were all good, and the show would have been better served by letting the drummer sing lead on the Rascals classics.

Felix looked and sounded exactly as he did in the sixties! Every member of his band gave an absolutely awesome performance. It was fun going back in time, reminiscing about the past and singing along to his fabulous songs. Felix was amazing and so sincere. His voice was superb. The whole band gave their all. We would definitely see them again.

I saw the rascals years ago and it was mostly promoting their new stuff, this time It was them playing their old stuff and with age comes perfection. while the group was new for the most part the music rocked, Felix sounded better than he did years ago (no insult intended), he didn't need to impress or act like a kid with zits, he played and sounded fantastic. If you liked the old time rock and roll I highly suggest this concert.

Felix brought the crowd to its feet with his nostalgic Rascals tunes. Back track to the more mellow and upbeat days and experiences of the 1960's. Happy and uplifting tunes with meaning and humanity. Felix's engaging the audience with "sing-a-longs" brought a smile to everyone's face as well as tunes from that era that he intermingled with Rascal tunes. Truly a superb show with a backup band replicating those sublime tunes we all knew as youngsters. I'd certainly see him again and ask a bunch of our friends to join us. Salute'

Felix and his band rocked! First of all, we had third row seats and its pretty hard to get a bad seat at the casino. Felix did all of his hits plus some of others. He played an hour and a half straight. He had a guitar player trhat killed it and a female singer back w/a drummer that was excellent. The bass and female were a couple. All in all all all four of us loved his show...

The energy filled show started on time, lasted two hours and was very reasonably priced.

Great show, great music. Brings back many memories. Get them all together & you'll have a phenomenal show.

Wow, were we dissappointed in this show. Felix created so many beautiful songs with the Rascals but he ran through only some of them, adding some well known rock n roll medleys that were not his songs as if he was doing a club date ( wedding, etc). I don't like to criticize musicians but his band was not good, to put it gently. I really had it when he went into a few riffs of Billie Jean!I am a frequent patron of BB King's and love the place despite its location, Times Square. But I will never go again when there are two shows. Each show is only 1 hr now no matter what as they have to clean it out for the hip hop party at 11pm. I usually go during the week. The maitre d invited us to stay for the second show as he saw we were not too happy, but then we would have to have waited 45 min while the place was swept, and then see the same crummy show again. Sorry, Felix it just was not worth it, freebie or not.

I've been a (Young) Rascals fan since Jr. High in the mid 60's, and was very cool to see Felix again. The band smoked, and Felix, although a little hoarse, put on a great show.Lastly, the Bear's Den is an excellent venue for a show!

Felix was great except for the fact that he was only on stage for one hour. I go to many of these venues and I've never been to a show for this short amount of time. Was it because he had a later show to perform? Also, he didn't sing one of my favorite of his songs, which is 'How Can I Be Sure'. I really don't understand that since it was one of his biggest hits. All in all, I really enjoyed it.

Great show, too short, but he got all the big songs in , BB kings was great.

The show was really a great surprise. We weren't sure what to expect, since it has been so long since their music was first recorded. Felix Caviliere's voice was exactly what we remembered. He incorporated their hits with some motown and musical journeys in the past decades. He is still a true showman. His lead guitar player is awesome.

So great to see Felix Cavaliere perform after all these years. I saw The Young Rascals in 1966 and they blew me away then, and he s still got it! He sang all the hits we wanted to hear. Concert started right on time, which in this day and time of concerts, is pretty special. Schermerhorn is a fabulous venue. I had only been there once before and now I can t wait to go back. Happy surprise when Felix brought his daughter in to sing How Can I Be Sure . Simply great. What a fabulous night!!!

original Rascals material was well covered & the added bonus is the blending of other artist material in to the set.

This was a great show. Felix never disappoints. We've seen him several times, but B.B.King's is, of course, a unique venue. Felix sang every one of the Rascals' hits along with several other contemporary favorites. Good food, good seats, good music, really good evening.

Too few people have the time to remember the "good old days" when rock was love songs, and just a tiny little subversive political expression. Those were the days of "The Young Rascals" , or as now known as "Felix Cavaliere's Rascals." The music was always fresh, upbeat, and a little bit soulful, enough so that Felix was named the King of blue-eyed soul. Felix, still with a strong voice, has surrounded himself with some fine musicians who seem to enjoy this type of music, and sing and play with verve. Singing most of the hits "Groovin", "People got to be free", and "Good Lovin" , Felix manages to weave some Temptations and Four Tops music into his performance. It is a whirlwind of great 60's music. The Golden Nugget gets great reviews for hosting this in a wonderfully comfortable room, and the restaurants at the hotel were terrific. All in all, this was the reason I traveled to LV, and it was well worth it!

Felix and a bunch of Nashville cats put on a great show in Scottsdale. Felix is a character, during many of the songs, he extended them and included other hits from the 60s and 70s from other artists. High energy, entertaining and on top of that, some of the best songs from 60s and 70s.

The Rascals were great to hear again, after all these years! Band members were replacements for those of the 60s however, drummer, base and lead guitar, keyboard player, were exceptional. The current band members had very good vocal skills. I was impressed with the fact there was no break. Felix was very talkative! Many artists don't interact with the audience. Not only was he very vocal, he also greeted audience members when the concert ended. He is still a performer! And yes, he still has his musical voice! He still sounds like it's 1967!

I grew up with these songs, the Rascals sound was amazing, my husband and I had a fantastic time, highly recommend!

Whenever you attend a concert from a 60s Rock n' Roll legend, you never know what you're gonna get. Some performers age better than others. In the case of Felix Cavaliere, have no fear his pipes are still in top form. He can still belt out a tune, still hit the high notes and still sing his hits with real feeling. And his backing band is top-notch as well. My only criticism was his generosity in letting his bandmates take the lead on a few of his songs. But that's a small infraction. Overall, The Rascals were great.

I was so impressed by the energy level of the band. The music played was all my favorites from the 60's and 70's. If you get a chance to see this show -GO!!

My title says it all. Facility was OK. Fans were not all that enthusiastic. They played for 80 minutes.

Felix played many Rascals hits and also either played or did a few bars from other 60's hits like Mustang Sally, Midnight Hour etc. Outstanding band of Nashville musicians played great. Lots of energy - he looked like he was having a great time and so did we, and that Hammond still sounds great!

Never disappointed when it comes to the older bands. Felix pug on a good show with his great music.if you can get out to see him , do so....

Show was enjoyable 5 or so hits, some other ppl's songs & couple never heard of songs.. the old 60s 70s screen (though towards end felt like I was on tripping..Lol) was fun esp seeing him MUCH MUCH Younger..he is much older looking that that photo above! Seating was ok basically chairs in a ballroom our row had to keep moving as a duplicate tix was apparently printed! Also im not so sure i'll return to this casino as getting to it and out of it and trying to head towards AC or Route 42 is very confusing esp at 11:30 pm I do not like the location also as i'd rather have access to the boardwalk.. but it was a nice recall back to some good music which is the bottom line.

I have wanted to see Felix for 40 years, and finally I had the opportunity. His performance surpassed my expectation. His voice was excellent and the band tight. The show had great energy, and I could relate to his message of peace, love and happiness. Something we need more of in the world today. I had the opportunity to meet him afterwards. He is not only an outstanding artist; he is a wonderful person. I will definitely see him again if the opportunity arises.

Of the many concerts over the past few years I enjoyed this the most. Wish they would come to Packard music hall in warren so I could see them again.

Great show and good songs ! All the groups were very good. The only thing I would say is that they need to allow more time for each group ! Felix from the Rascals kept looking and pointing to his watch. He seemed to be rushed !

Excellent planning with little time wasted for band and instrument changes. Just keep the old hits coming. I rally enjoyed the Reflections and Romeo and Juliet, more than I thought I would, terrific. Gary U.S. Bonds, very strong voice. Let us know the next concert, we're ready to buy. Thanks.

If it wasn't for Felix Cavalire the concert would have been just OK. The other groups were good but I really don't think they had enough hits to make it on their own for a whole concert. The other great thing is that all the groups came back out on stage afterward to sing a song together. That there was only one band and it didn't take 20 minutes in between acts to get ready. Plus the music wasn't too loud like when you go to the Moondog Concert. The sound was just right. I enjoy going to the as many groups from the 60's oldie's concerts as I can because that is where the great songs were from. To have that many groups get together is even better.

I love these "oldies" shows at the Civic. The facility is so beautiful.........I love going there. The show was great.........really want to see more of these shows come to the Civic.

Peaches and Herb was incredible. The staff at the Akron Civic are very friendly. They are very helpful and pleasant to be around.

... he really should call it a career. I know he's old because I'm old and he's older than me. He did not sing that much and gave a lot of the singing chores to his back-up band (those musicians were good). His singing range is so limited that he could not complete songs. It was a fun idea to go see him but, it wasn't worth the time.

Felix always brings it. His new band rocks! Do not miss this if you get the chance. Living legend!

This was such a great show starting with the Box Tops who were super talented and finally the Rascals who played hit after hit. Felix really put his heart in the performance which made it even more special!

You probably have forgotten all the songs The Rascals sang. Each are classics from the 60's. Felix still sounds good but was easily winded so songs tended to be long instrumentals. Always a fun time with this group!

The show was absolutely amazing! Brought back lots of memories. I loved they way Felix interacted with the audience. I would definitely go again.
