Absolutely loved the show my daugther enjoyed it. Highly recommend it for the kids. A lot of songs from the show incorporated in the performance. Audio was great not too loud like some shows I've seen.I took a star away because they allowed people to enter after the show started and it blocked the view and it was a disruption. That was a take away for me.

The show was a bit corky for dad and mom but the joy in our son's face as his favorite characters sang his favorite songs was priceless! Safe, cute and very much like the show itself. Absolutely would recommend it to friends just to get to see the joy on your child's face! Thank you Daniel and friends for making it a beautiful day!

Daniel, Miss Elaina, O the Owl, Katerina, and Prince Wednesday along with Teacher Harriet, Mr. McFeeley, Baker Aker, Music Man Stan, Dad and Mom and Margaret Tiger made appearances. It was a wonderful show - true to what we see on television. The music/singing was good, too.

Our grandkids are 2 1/2 and 2 and they loved it. Our granddaughter wanted to go back again the next day. She was singing and moving to the music in her grandpa's lap. Our grandson kept clapping and saying "yay Daniel the Tiger". They were both so excited. The evening was a success.

Daniel's arm seemed to have a few issues, but was not noticeable to the kids. Sadly other adults felt the need to sit in front of children, blocking the view. The ticket prices were slightly high for a child's event. The balloon release was distracting since every kid wanted a balloon.

My almost 3-year old was fascinated with Daniel and the whole cast. She sat mesmerized for the entire thing. The show was a good length--1 hour and 20 min with intermission. Snacks were reasonable. Daniel's voice was authentic as it seemed pre-recorded since the character was completely masked. All other characters had their faces showing. The owl costume was especially beautiful and my daughter "ooed and awwed" at it. Singing and dancing was spot on. Katerina and Prince Tuesday stuck out as quality singers. So many in the audience were singing along, too. Just an adorable show. We had tix in orchestra center, Row K--perfect view. My daughter actually thought we were in Daniel's house and wanted to talk to him after the show, but we didn't get the "meet and greet" package. Next time. So glad we went!

The venue did not have enough personnel checking bags. Consequently the show had started by the time we were seated. So after paying $180+ for 3 tickets and not seeing a complete show I was upset. The show is short anyways. Two 30 minute segments with a 15 minute intermission. Save your $$.

The show was basic. I thought that the performers would interact with the audience and kids some but there were absolutely no interaction whatsoever. I understand that some small children are fearful of large characters, but there were also older children present that could participated. The performers could have even walked the aisles some if anything, but nope. Overall, the show was ok. Basic Daniel Tiger. I just think they could have made it a little more lively!

My son is turning 6 in a few months and I feel like Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is a little too young for him. I think this event was geared towards little children from (2-5). The show itself it okay, but the audience is so loud. It's hard to focus when there's babies/children screaming, crying, talking through out the entire show. I wish some parents would take their screaming kids outside so others can enjoy the show a little more.

My toddler enjoyed the singing but I think he got bored on the 2nd half........ the story line was good its just that maybe its hard for kids to understand it since it was on stage compared to watching it on tv. Also why not just use mascots for everybody???? Anyway i enjoyed it as a mom but maybe for kids can be a little different.

My daughter (2.5 yrs old) loved it and kept asking if we could go back to the theater. The songs were great and the story was awesome. Just wish the theater stairs were less steep. Also many of the babies were crying after intermission and the parents stayed in their seats, which was very distracting.

Our daughter is a huge Daniel Tiger Fan, but we all left the show feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. The music was way too loud and the costumes were weird. The show pulled familiar songs and plots from episodes, which allowed our daughter to connect with the show and be engaged. But she kept covering her ears throughout the show.

It seemed like Daniel Tiger and the musical score were pre-recorded, and all the other characters were performing live. There were issues with sound for the live parts - they weren't really being heard well enough for my (adult) taste. Still, my almost-3-year-old loved it, of course, and it was a great outing for us. A great first musical.

This was a very cute show in a very nice venue, which made it a great experience for our little girls. The show combined a lot of favorite songs and characters from the TV series to tell a single, coherent story. The costuming was a little odd with some of the characters' faces not blending well with the costume/mask, e.g. Daniel's parents. In addition to the show starting late, and the PBS rep's intro being too long, our biggest complaint is that intermission was 20 minutes, which was way too long for this crowd.

My great nephew has autism and the only program he watches is Daniel Tiger. I took a chance and bought tickets anyway as he doesn't like loud noises, crowds and I really took a chance on getting these tickets. Well to my surprise, he was so freaking happy he didn't know what to do with himself! My sister called me while the show was on telling me how much of a good time he had and it brought me tears.

My 3 year old liked it. He mentioned how loud it was and I agree. It was loud and we were on the floor level almost back row. The only voice we had trouble hearing was Katarina Kitty Cats. Sometimes she spoke too fast and high pitched that we could understand what she was saying. Otherwise my kid grasped the concept of the story. The show started 15 min after the start time. Intermission could have been soon. We'd probably go again if my toddler wanted, but I won't be telling my other parent friends that this was a MUST see.

We took our 5 y/o, 3 y/o, and 2 y/o -- and they all three really enjoyed the show and were captivated by it. There is enough going on throughout the show to keep the kids' attention. There was an issue with the timing of the microphones... so we missed a lot of lines from the actors, but Daniel Tiger's voice must have been pre-recorded because it was spot on. It was fun hearing all the different songs from previous shows -- made it familiar to the kids, even though they'd never seen the performance before. The "feel" of the show was very reminiscent of the actual Daniel Tiger show, and the props were well done and fun to look at.

We recently attended Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Live "King for a Day" at the King's Theater in Brooklyn. The theater is well appointed, and the staff was friendly. The sound in the theater itself could definitely have been better - we were only 4 rows from the stage, and sometimes it was hard to hear the actors. The story was so sweet! I loved the diversity of the cast and the context. My 2 and a half year old was smitten the entire time, singing along, and getting up to dance, too. We all had a great experience.

We took our daughter for her 3rd Birthday to see this show. She LOVES Daniel Tiger s neighborhood. While she enjoyed the show, the meet and greet was horrible. First of all no where was it stated that we needed to check in to get wristbands for the meet and greet which was not that big of a deal. However, the entire thing was rushed and really disappointed us. We paid $80 per ticket for 4, and after taxes and fees totaled $360. They really should have taken their time with the meet and greet and allowed the children time to enjoy meeting their favorite character. I understand they had a lot of children to meet with but when you do something like that the whole point is to make it special for the children. Just sad that they felt the need to rush through what should have been the best part.

This is my 3rd Daniel Tiger show and I always do the Meet and Greet. My biggest complaint is the costumes. They are awful, I'm not just saying that because these tickets cost so much. The only nice costumes are Miss Elaina's and Prince Wednesday's. Daniel's costume looks ridiculous, as do his parents costumes. Also, for the second year in a row, the same actor has played O the Owl, Music Man Stan, Baker Aker, and King Friday!!! Seriously?!! The show itself is fine, but costumes really need to be improved. Love the venue in that parking is super accessible and the venue has reasonable prices for food.

The act in combination w the theater wasn't great. 4 year old said it "ok" and wasn't fully entertained by it-- same with two year old. My son loved the Daniel Tiger show. Only complaint is about the intermission. The show went for about 45 minutes, and the kids were loving it. My son was so into it, then, bam - 25 minute intermission! When the performers came back (for only about 25 minutes more of show) all of the kids were restless, lots of crying, etc. They should have just done the show all the way through without taking the intermission. I know they want to sell their merchandise, but it really killed the momentum.

Went to see this at the Basie Theatre in Nj at the 2pm showing. The Show was very cute and entertaining with decent costumes and recognizable songs. However, the 20 min intermission was not fun for my 1 and 3 year olds. They were captivated by the lights and sounds for the first half...then didn t know what to do for 20 min and started getting restless during the second half. I think the show should go straight through without intermission considering the target audience is most likely 1-5 year olds.

My two year old grandchild loves Daniel Tiger, the TV show, and she was mesmerized by Daniel Tiger, the Musical. There was one part in the show that seemed a little off- Daniel disappeared but it did not fit in at the time it happened. The sound quality was very poor, like a prerecorded audio file played through inferior equipment, much too inadequate for a venue of this size. We had great seats, but my 5 year old, unable to distinguish what was being said onstage, spent half of the 65 minute performance (divided by a 25 minute intermission) ignoring the actors and actresses. The actual show was enjoyable but they went cheap on audio equipment.

My family and I enjoyed this event! I was so overjoyed for my son, I was teary eyed the entire show. His reaction and excitement was rewarding.

The live show is mostly made up of songs and scenes from the TV series. The length of the show was about 90 minutes including intermission and was just about right for the audience.

Our two-year-old absolutely loves Daniel tiger! So this show was a must see. She certainly enjoyed it. I think they should have Incorporated more scenes with the trolley, as the kids were so excited every time the trolley came out. Also O the owl and miss Elena could have had larger roles

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. My daughter loves Daniel tiger but this show wasn't anything special. It was weird how many people shared roles and how you could see some faces but not all. We saw Sesame Street a few months ago and found that to be much more energetic and entertaining.

The show was cute and followed the themes of several of the TV episodes, so the songs were familiar. My 4yo and 2yo enjoyed it for a little while, but were ready to go home before intermission. The set and costumes (particularly Daniel) seemed pretty low budget. I was expecting more for the $200+ we spent for 4 tickets. Tickets were about twice as expensive as they should have been for this show, in my opinion.

It was a very special birthday gift for my 3 year old daughter who loves Daniel Tiger and she was amazed the entire time. I loved bringing her to a show she really enjoyed. I was very disappointed when I purchased tickets the moment they went on sale, hoping to get the best seats for my price range. They were not good seats but I thought they couldn t be that bad. I didn t know for sure because I had never been there. Then I saw tickets were being discounted on Groupon and living social but I exchange them because there are no refunds for the tickets I already had. When we got to the theater, the very helpful usher took us to our seats way at the top away from the rest of the audience. Laughing a little, he said we could move closer when the show began which we ended up doing. It was embarrassing that I was sold these seats and not one other person was up that far back. Price your tickets accordingly. Your show was great but not worth the initial price which I m sure was well known to the company. I m just trying to take my kid to a show. Disney on Ice wasn t even near that much money and we had great seats.

The sound was awful; could barely hear any character speak other than Daniel Tiger. The music sounded as if someone backstage played the soundtrack on a stereo and they simply held up a microphone to the speakers to pipe it in to the auditorium. My 3 year old couldn't understand any of what was happening onstage, and she's seen every episode of the show. Was very disappointed.

Loved the show. It was good, not too long for my 2.5 year old to endure.. The location was very nice. Would recommend this to anyone one who likes Daniel the Tiger

Was this show cute? Yes. Did my son enjoy it? Yes? Was it worth the $180 it cost me for tickets? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I took my family to see Sesame Street Live last year, and it was PHENOMENAL! This show had actors not in full costume, you could see their faces in the middle of the character face or sticking out of the top of the costume (weird). The speakers were on the floor directly in front of the seats and were so obnoxiously loud, I needed to go tell management to turn the volume down because parents were sitting with their hand over their children s ears, and the theatre box office couldn t find my tickets that I purchased 7 months early.
