Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament

OK I very much enjoyed the 22-5 start by the UCLA Bruins against the Stanford Cardinal, but the insufferable Wildcat fans almost ruined it for me, but the free concession item for being a Bank of the West cardholder, which allowed me to get a double cheeseburger with fries...very cool! Then when no one would fill my empty Nalgene bottle with ice and/or water I was forced to fill my bottle with bathroom water from a faucet, which was very disappointing. I liked all the giveaways, from the placards to the tee shirts to the foam fingers.

Although out played for most of the game, UCLA players and coaches displayed great determination and character in salvaging a win against the Sun Devils!

The event is always great, we go down every year. The buying process is an absolute nightmare though. You have to buy the full tournament pass, or you are out of luck.

great tournament! Only comment for event...you should have posted a sign to "well call" directions!!! Come on...... We had tickets for Wed / Thurs and Fri! Keep'em coming Vegas!

Glad we went. Though Arizona didnt win the title, it was an amazing event I got to share with my family. We plan on doing it next year.

The best part was screaming at the AZ players when they'd come close to my seats. I bet they were annoyed. They only made one out of about six shots when I did this. I used to play a lot of basketball so I know what to do before they shoot. Just yell in their face! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Next time Bruins.

It was my first Pac 12 Tournament, and I was super excited. On Wednesday I got to see the evening games, had a GREAT time. Not too crowded but still a good turn out in my opinion. Fans were cheering , bands were playing and it was a great place to be. I also went to the Thursday night games, still very excited. Stanford and Cal were playing when I got there so cought the end of that game. The Oregon vs. Colorado was about to start. A gentleman next to me asked what team I was going for, I said no team I`m just here to watch. He whispered to me that Oregon fans were horrible and to be careful. Well now I`m thinking these people get rowdy and will become mean. Well the mean part was right...but rowdy, not so much. The game started and like at most games, people were not cheering for the same team. Oregon fans here, Colorado fans there...and fans of other teams there to watch as well. Games going, Colorado fan yells out his cheers, while Oregon fans sit below us. More cheers from the the Colorado fans, looks form the Oregon fans start. The Oregon fans cheer because a basket was made...no problems yet. Then a man starts to yell out " Let go buffs!!"....thats when the fun went down hill. One of the Oregon fan ladies was tell the Colorado fans to be quiet...more like shut up n sit down. We were all kinda confused because we didn`t know what she was talking about. So more of us began to cheer on Colorado, and again...Oregon fans telling us to be quiet. This was my first game, but I know this wasn`t normal. More cheering, more mean looks...now an Oregon lady stands up, walks over to security and points at the men that were cheering for Colorado. She walks over to them and points in there faces while saying "you`re out and you`re and you`re out"...for cheering asked my self. So as we continued cheering now a Oregan gentleman gets involved, and at this time I`m starting to believe that what the gentle had told me was true...Oregon fans are jerks! He started waiving down security and saying "we wnat them out, get them outta here!". Fans beiging to boo him, and at this point I had to say something. I said 'you need to relax, all they are doing is cheering for their team.. there is no reason for them to get kicked out'..many others fans (not Oregon) agreed and said let them cheer. This was horrible...were other teams fans not suppose to support? I was really shocked at the way the Oregon fans were acting....like children!! Well needless to say, Colorado ended the game with a win and they send Oregon home. Besides all the mess, I had a great time and would go back....but wil probably stay away from the ducks : )

Excellent event . Excellent venue with awesome seating.

It was an awesome game having to go to overtime with Isiah Thomas hitting the overtime shot. Great game truly enjoyed it.

the game was everything it was hyped to be! Would have been nice to know that the women's game was GA. I wouldn't have purchased an expensive ticket. still watching the mastery of the Stanford women was a thing of art.

Two superb events --women's and men's PAC 10 Tourney finals. Both Stanford women and Washington men came from behind in the fouth quarter to win. Not one person left the Staple's Center prior to the final horn. Open seating on first level for women and assigned seating in third level for men.

Best basketball game I've ever witnessed live. I'm so glad I bought tickets. Go Huskies!!!

the entire PAC 10 Tournament was fantastic - men's games/women's games... OUTSTANDING!!!

All I can say is that this was the most fun time I have had in years, the level of play was intense.

The Event was great! Good, high level Basketball with high intensity and impressive cheerleading and bands. It was a pity the Staples was half empty during the games. Also, if you pay USD 100 for your tickets you don't expect to pay USD 11 for a beer or another USD 11 for a meal at McDonald's. The Staples Cener should really reconsider their pricing strategy inside if they don't want their visitors to feel somehow ripped off. You'd expect a bit of a higher pricing inside the center than outside, but USD 11 is just over the top. There was a lot going on outside the Staples as well which was nice.

The food was good. The ice cream small portions but who needs a lot anyway. The seats were like "butter"!

The PAC 12 Basketball Tournament at the MGM Garden Arena was a great experience.

Coming from the Southeast, I had not had much experience with big-time West Coast college basketball. This was as fun an atmosphere as any college basketball tournament I have been to. It was great having it in a compact arena, it really got loud. I was impressed by Arizona's fans. Only complaint was with MGM's slow will call service. I would advise having tickets in hand when you get there so you don't have to deal with them.

This event was terrific. The MGM Grand was an awesome venue and Las Vegas is a perfect neutral site.

Great atmosphere...Great Venue...Awesome Crowd...GOOD TIMES!!!

I'm a Las Vegas resident who enjoys great basketball and a change from the Mountain West, so this was second year attending. Not as electric of a semi-final day (3 blow-outs out of four games) as last year, but still good ball. The bands are great and Colorado had best student section. MGM improved from last year, as concession wait times weren't as bad.

One of the best trips we've done. Three families with our adult kids and friends went and it was a great time! We will go again next year! Great venue and lots to do!

I enjoyed my tickets to Session 3 but didn't enjoy the fact that Ticketmaster canceled and resold a ticket I had purchased for Session 6 and I didn't get to attend the final game using the ticket I purchased. The one star rating is an overall rating Session 3 (4 stars) and Session 4 (-2 stars).

Everything was great, the crowd, the games,with the exception of the last one were awesome, MGM did a wonderful job in managing this event

Truly done in style. From very nice people to great fun events. Parachute drops to tennis balls. Free tickets and not a bad seat in the house.

For my first NCAA basketball game, the PAC-12 playoffs delivered high entertainment and the MGM grand was a great venue! I had high expectations & they were exceeded in every way!!

We thought the venue was wonderful and very well run. Convenient location, easy access from the airport and other area amenities. I hope they continue to hold the PAC-12 Tournament in this great neutral site.

The PAC 12 Conference Tournament Championship game was fun.

I can't wait for next year. The whole event was great. My team was eliminated in the first round but every game was exciting. Keep it in VEGAS!

Huge success. Best idea the Pac had to get out of the morgue at Staples and put it in a electric venue at MGM.

Vegas hosting the Pac-12 tournament gave this basketball enthusiast alot of FUN!!! The game between UCLA and Oregon was very exciting. Too bad Jordan Adams got hurt, it would have been a nail biter had he played. Thank you MGM for hosting.

The game did not have the emotion that I would expect. It may need the fan bases to become more used to going to Vegas. The Ka demo at halftime was pretty cool. I liked the ability to have the arena, mall shops and hotel as one connected experience.

Great atmosphere in an intimate setting at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Much better venue than previous years at STAPLES Center in terms of atmosphere, fan attendance, and school spirit

Great event, holding the PAC 12 conference tournament at the MGM. Only problems are the high price of snacks, and the funnellike exit from the arena. Too narrow for the crowd, plus the second session was trying to come in.

Great venue, not a bad seat in the place. I'm excited that they moved the PAC 12 tourney from LA. The turnout was great, and there is an endless amount of activities beyond the games.

Keep the tourney in Vegas!!! Best venue ever.... No lack of food or drink. Really enjoyed the crowd being mixed teams around us... made for meeting people :-) MGM did it right!

Great games, great venue, great seats. The only bad thing is our team lost. We will definitely come back next year. I loved that you could go in and out during the games and bring in food and drinks to the arena. I went out during halftime to get a Starbucks. Staff were really nice and helpful.

We had wheelchair accessible seats for these games. At the beginning of game 6 we had two Arizona fans who would not allow a Colorado fan to take his seat and threatened him. Security had to be called. Once settled the Arizona fans (2) and the Colorado fan, despite no one was standing in front of them, refused to sit down thus blocking our view of the court. When we requested them to sit down to allow us to see they refused and claimed they had the right to stand if they wanted. I spoke to arena personnel and they refused to ask them to sit so I requested we be moved which they did do.

Super fun! All the games have been competitive and 1 session even had two Overtime games. Recommend not to sit directly behind the basket.

Excellent viewing at MGM,neutral zone, good midpoint for Pac 12 fans!

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommendation would be to have more concessions open. Only about half were open, causing long lines unnecessarily.

Great atmosphere! Good time even though my team lost.

This venue is not the greatest. Parking is awful, access to the arena is awful. The food offered in the arena is sub par. There should be more choices for people who are there for 4 basketball games in a day. The food court at the MGM has terrible, overpriced food. The switch over between games is very chaotic and extremely cramped. Security was rude and were telling people some people the same thing was okay to bring and others it wasn't. I am hoping with the change of Venue next year it will be much better and there will be a lot less scalping so true fans that aren't millionaires can get decent seats.

Good pricing, and seating was very good. Bought the tickets online and when we arrived it was easy peasy! Would recommend. I will be doing this again next year.

I've gone to the PAC -12 tourney every year it has been in Las Vegas and it is such a great atmosphere. Go Cats!

The MGM is a great venue. Entering and exiting can be difficult at times

Ease of purchasing tickets, tickets were electronic and can easily be used on phone or printed up. Reselling feature easy and much appreciated.

I attend the Pac12 tournament every year in Vegas and it is always so much fun! Love the MGM Garden Arena- not a bad seat in the house.

We had seats in the upper, upper sections because we could not get seats on Ticketmaster in the lower bowl. HOWEVER, there were lots of open seats in the lower bowl at gametime which were obviously saved or not in circulation to the general public. And then to offer a "seat upgrade" in the arena right before the contest, it did not go over very well with the people in the arena. In fact they "boo'd" the upgrade. You would do better releasing those lower bowl seats to people that want to attend. You might even sell out if it was done correctly.

The venue was great. Much excitement and will definitely go again next year!!!

This tournament is great, fun, exciting, I make the yearly trip and every time I have a blast.

Second session enjoyable. Good turnout of Wildcat fans supporting basketball.

Getting another opportunity to see the CATS play is great! Seeing all the fans in RED and the support is great! Watching our CATS interact with the crowd/fans is priceless! The venue is old but it does have a comfortable feel to it. Would recommend the experience to any diehard fan.

Games were good other fans standing up in front of me were annoying but overall awesome..

I heard rumors that the pac12 tourney might not be held in Vegas much longer. I hope this is not true! Las Vegas is a great place to watch the games live and spend some time with the family or friends afterwards.

The event was great since we won! I have been to several tournaments in the past and they have all been exciting and fun. The "in-and-out " of the event was a plus because it allowed you to go have a bite to eat in the food court since the concessions were limited in food selection. There was a rule where you were allowed to take in bottled water however without a cap which was counterproductive. The arena was small enough so that wherever you sat you could see the game easily. Overall it was a fun event.

I attended the semifinals and final of the PAC-12 BB tournament. The total atmosphere was great, from the crowd assemblying outside the arena prior to the games right through the final buzzer. The event is very well run and managed at the MGM. Even though my horse, the UW Huskies, were long gone before the semifinals the games and overall experience were great. I would recommend the event to all basketball fans.

It was awesome! Only wish Arizona would have won!!

Wonderful facility and the game was absolutely fantastic. Wish the Tall Saguaros had won, but the experience was great. Seats were high, but most sight-lines are good no matter where you sit. Wildcats will get them in the NCAA Tourney! Bear Down!

Great event except the corner video boards blocked the view of the score board. Could not see the score of the game.

The tournament was tremendous...nice facility. The only complaint I would have is that the experience was over-produced. Instead of a college basketball environment, it was more of a professional basketball production. Ear-splitting music at every time-out/half-time, with constant exhortations by MC to stand and scream for the latest give-away. I'm probably in the minority but I prefer music from the pep bands, etc. That being said, the overall experience of being in Vegas for the tournament was tremendous.

Games was great, seat were good but the officials made some bad calls and weren't held accountable for it. How many officials does it take to officiate a good game? More than there was at the tournament.

I liked the view and the seats in general. It was a really fund time, except for my Wildcats losing.

Had a great time! Would go again. I am done with this review.

Opportunity to see PAC 12 conference teams play. Price for tickets too high.

The MGM arena is pretty nice. Getting to it is impossible. The ticket booth is hard to find. You have to walk a mile just to get to the arena from parking.
