Great show. Geoff's voice is always phenomenal to me. Very confused why he said they had a lot more to go and asked if everyone would stick around, then closed the show after the next song (or 2). Would always go to see them again though! Geoff was probably really p---ed off about falling down. Still loved the show though!!

I love Operation Mind Crime. Been a fan of Queensrcyhe for years! Geoff is a great entertainer! The new band members are definately very talented and rocked the show. Like I said been a Queensryche fan since the 80's and I will always hope for a reunion with the band and Chris D!!!!

The concert was amazing and definately worth the 3 hour drive to Vegas. I would do it again tomorrow if they came back , and will when they do ! The caliber of musicians that play together in Queensryche make up one of the best modern day rock shows ! Geoff Tate can not go wrong with Rudy Sarzo(formerly Quiet Riot) and Robert Sarzo , and new addition of Kelly ! ! ! Good job guys and thanks for signing my shirt !

Although I had wanted to see them for years, I had never had the opportunity to see Queensryche in concert before and I wasn't disappointed. There were a few hiccups, but Geoff Tate's voice is amazing and he's a great performer. The only thing I wished is that we could have seen the original animation sequences along with the music. It was a great show and my ears are still ringing.

Normally Geoff Tate's voice overpowers the music but this time the music overpowered his voice which I did not care for. His previous shows at The House Of Blues he played a lot longer......I thought it was too short of a show. Would have liked to see him play longer. Overall though I enjoyed it and had a good time!! One thing I did not like about the showroom is they did not allow us to take pics or video with our phones when we are able to do it anywhere else we see concerts!

I did not realize until after that Geoff Tate was no longer with "Queensryche." I guess there was a falling out between members after decades together. When they came out on stage, I looked and did not recognize anybody except Geoff Tate. The sound was not good and the instruments drowned out his voice, which is hard to do. I even saw him motioning a couple times at the sound people to turn them down and turn him up. He did say it was there fifth show together. When you could hear him, he still sounds fantastic. All in all, it was ok. I guess I would rather see Geoff Tate and his voice with a band he put together then see the rest of Queensryche with a different lead singer. His voice is why I go.

I had a personal issue with missing out on some of the lyrics due to it being to loud, but that is just age, and no one else may have had a problem. Other than that Geoff was great as always. At the end I felt that security was a bit rude to me when he told me if you are not here for the meet and great then you need to leave. Was not a very nice person.

with a huge catalog of songs available i was disappointed in what was selected. Geoff's voice was strong (which is more than i can say for the last two queensryche concerts), and he could've blown away the crowd but chose to play too many solo songs, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Didn't overpay for the tix but this will be the last time i go to see geoff.

Geoff Tate is one of the most remarkable vocalist of all time. I've seen many professional groups and this one will always come to my mind first. Empire was the perfect venue to see him because of the seating and intimate setting. Empire is best venue to see your favorite artist. It was a great move on his part going with a solo acoustic tour. I love all types of music and have other favorites as well but I do believe Geoff is the best heavy metal and soft vocalist of all time!!!! He has the gift!!!! One of my favorites is (I Will Remember) and see if anyone out there can compete singing the first verse of Take Hold of the Flame.

Worst performance I have ever seen by Geoff Tate. He sang B-Side songs for over an hour so a group of us left in disgust. I spent the money to hear him perform classic Queensryche but all he wanted to do was discuss his personal life and sing songs no one wanted to hear!

The setting was up close and personal at The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. I have always loved Queensryche and hearing Geoff 25 years later sure brought back many fond memories. His voice is still off the charts! He played many new songs from his solo album which I will definitely now go buy. Don't miss a chance to see him perform. I skipped BOC and the chili peppers to see Geoff and still thank myself. Acoustic set of Operation Mincrime and Empire favorites, Geoff blew the roof off this little venue. I was lucky enough to sit 3 people away from him and took some memorable iPhone recordings without having to zoom. Encore of Eyes of a Stranger after much clapping. This man is one of The greatest rock singers of all time in my opinion, sang cleaner and higher notes than anyone. He avoided the E above high C in Take Hold of the Flame but hell who else would do it nowadays. Go check him out if you get a chance.

Wow! What a show!! Small venue. Watch it from about 15 ft from the stage. Could have gotten closer if I wanted. Hope the band wasn't disappointed with the small turnout. They gave a great show never the less. Thought SUN was a great opening act. The guitarist with the kick drum and high hat definitely has some talent. It was great to see the female singer join Geoff for a duet during his set. The second group The Voodoos was also good. Thought they could have worked the fact that they were from Ireland and were playing near Notre Dame though.

i love napa, geoff tate and wine. fans need to pay more attention. many missed geoffs wine tasting and signing at 1313 main. spectacular night at the uptown theater. he had three acoustics and keys with him, a special litlle tambourine and we were off ......no bad seat in the house, and sound was VERY good. buy his INSANIA wines...i was pleasantly surprised. not much on reviewing the whole show because....it was well, geoff tate. if you are a fan you need no explanation. namaste'

Geoff Tate, former front man to the band that shall not be named, still has the vocals that made him and them rock gods. To hear Operation Mindcrime, start to finish, live, 30 years later rocked us all back to our youth. He even had his own daughter fill the role of Sister Mary in her duet with him. Goeff still has front man talent and hits the old notes perfectly. After the album, an encore consisted of four other well known songs, most importantly Silent Lucidity and Jet City Woman. Rock god status is still 5-star for Mr. Tate.

Geoff Tate billed this one as 30th anniversary of Operation Mindcrime, so I had high hopes that he would deliver the goods. He really nailed it! He blasted the whole thing from cover to cover and it was amazing. Band was great and his singing was, although not as energetic as in the 90's, still powerful and smooth. I'd say one small detraction was that he used his daughter to help sing Suite Sister Mary and although I understand the desire to share the stage with your own daughter - the truth is she really doesn't do the piece justice. Her voice is fine, but she doesn't make you feel the part. Not to mention it's hard to disassociate her from the character being lovers with her father is kinda icky. Anyway, a small misstep in an otherwise great performance.

A great show from Mr Tate. If you are any kind of fan of Mindcrime you need to see the show. My only quibble would be that the bass was turned up way too loud to the point of drowning out the guitars. Not sure if this was a venue issue or board issue or what. The show itself has lots of energy and lots of crowd participation. Does it match the 1991 tour? No but it does a dang good job in this day in age.

I was very impressed with the 30th OMC anniversary show. I saw the Operation Mind Crime show years ago and was not expecting this to be as good,but it was. Th entire album was played in order from beginning to end plus a few bonus songs after the album ended. My only challenge with the show was that Geoff's daughter came on at 9:15 PM (We all thought it was Geoff starting the show) and played some of her own songs for 30 minutes. She does a great job with Geoff singing a duet during his show,however I was not a fan of her music. Geoff did not come on until 10:18 PM and played for 90 minutes.

Was super disappointed. I was expecting Geoff Tate from Queensryche, but instead got a preppy man giving a variety show. Yes, when he did actually sing a song in between comedy bits, he sounded great, but there was just no heart in it. Felt very prepared. Made me feel super old....like when a great star does a hemorrhoid cream commercial on TV. Sigh...

This was one of the best shows I have been to in a long time. The sound in the Culture Room was amazing and the band put on a phenomenal show. All the songs were fantastic. The only downfall of the evening's event was that the doors opened at 7:30 and the band did not come on until 9:00.

This was a great show, I went to see Geoff Tate but really enjoyed Ripper and Blaze as well. BUT, the sound mix was horrible, the vocals were way too muddy and not loud enough.

This show was phenomenal! My only complaints are that it started late and was too short IMO. I hope the Mastermind that is Tate will somehow pull the other two together and bring this show to many,many cities and states. I flew to NYC from Texas to see this show because Geoff Tate is my favorite vocalist,but the entire show ROCKED!!!

Disappointed that the original group is not still together, HOWEVER, Geoff Tate still has the best voice ever! His new band meshes well and play & sing like no others. I would definitely love to see them again!

The show was amazing. I'll have to admit I was nervous because I've been a Queensryche fan for 28 years and I didn't know what to expect. Geoff Tate and the boys brought it and then some. The new band is even BETTER than Queensryche. The musicianship is stellar. Geoff Tate's vocals were and continue to be strong and mesmerizing. Then we had the honor of meeting them. They were all cool guys and easy to talk to. Will definitely be waiting for them to come back to town. Check out their newest CD, The Key. You won't be sorry!

He played all the songs you wanted to hear and more. His voice is still amazing and his band is just as good as his former members of Queensryche. His new material is just as heavy and melodic as you would hope it to be, but not sounding like rehashed albums. Can't wait till the next time.
