Joan Osborne singing the songs of Bob Dylan was so good. Her two band mates were very good also. Joan made the songs her own, with her own style. Great night, and Bethel woods was a supper venue. Small and cozy place to see a show. We were in the front row, and had a blast. Highly recommend

I went to the Saturday show. Joan put on a two hour show played a lot from the new CD and a few brand new songs. I found the band tight same drummer guitarist as on most of the shows organ player has been with her the last couple of shows and a new bass. Joan was hot slender in black leather looking short skirt black sox and black boots And man did she dance I just wish I could have seen her Friday too. She will be back.

This was a great cause, disappointed at the low turn out. Joan Osbourne was great, a top notch performance. Sharon Little, unfortunately was getting sick. A big thank you for Mary Beth for creating this event!!!

Joan introduced audience to Lera Lynn and her band from Georgia who were talented, versatile and enjoyable! Joan did quite a few songs off her new CD, Bring It On Home and we were thrilled by her interpretation of old R&B and Blues standards. She did such a fine rendition of Motown hits in Standing in the Shadow of Motown and Breakfast in Bed that this was a logical evolution for her. She has always had the musical maturity for that genre. Joan pleasantly surprised us with a presentation of her folk ballad done at the American Song concert at Lincoln Center and it was beautiful. She can sing practically any kind of music and put her own signature style on it. Still love her songs off of CD titled "If God Was One of Us".

Joan was great and it was nice to see her and hear her on the stage again. She still has a great voice and I wish we could she her motre on the main stream again. Her warm-up, Lera Lynn is also a incredible talent and hopefully her voice will be heard in the mainstream as well!!!

I've been to probably 100 shows at the Birchmere during the past 10 or 15 years. Joan Osborne's performance was one of the best I've seen, there or anywhere. She was (to use a word I hardly ever use) fabulous. Amazing voice. Tremendous stage presence. Great band. Perfect songs. Put it all together, and you've got a "fabulous" show. When she returns, I'll be there.

I have followed Joan Osborne for over 15 years now and this was my first show. I have gotten all of her albums in the past and the more rythem and blues she has gotten, the more I have enjoyed her. So when I saw she was in town, I grabbed tickets. Her opening act was Lena Lynn and her and her band was amazing to start. Great folksy sound and such a voice. Then Joan and her band took the stage. They kicked serious @ss and owned that stage. Her new album is good, and when translated to stage, blew me away. She is was really into the show and her voice was top notch. I enjoyed the whole show and was really into it. She even signed CDs following so even if I had already purchased it, I bought it again to have her sign it and meet her. What a great experience.

It's always a stunning experience to hear Joan Osborne sing in a small club or theater. Her intimate performance at the El Rey was no exception. While making sure to cover the key tracks from the first album, she played around enough with the arrangements to put an added shine on them. With only guitar and piano as backing instruments (using the Funk Box app on her IPhone for one new song), Ms. Osborne's voice had space to move and breathe, and she easily filled the acoustic space of this venue. Covers of "Brokedown Palace" , "Tupelo Honey" , and Otis Redding's "Champagne and Wine" were welcome additions to some of her own material, including a goose-bump inducing "Hallelujah in the City" from her Little Wild One album of 2008.

Went to see Joan (& Dar Williams) at the FIllmore in San Francisco last night. A great show. Joan has such a soulful and emotional voice which she mastered in captivating her audience. She draws you in and takes you on a journey which leaves you hungry for more. Her show is a stripped down version (no band/orchestra) of hits & covers AND it is pure and passionately delivered. This show demonstrates what a huge raw talent she is on her own. I'm struck by her range and powerful delivery which kept me engaged from the minute she walked onto the stage. i left this show with the hope she make a "LIVE" CD/DVD of this unique performance to watch and listen to again and again.

Great show. Captivating vocalist. Whether a cover of "Brokedown Palace" or an R&B classic ("Ain't No Sunshine"), or a classic classic ("God Bless The Child"), she has the chops. Amazing control, without any hint of sterility. When the musician is turned on by the music, we're all the better for it, and she even turned it on for her one big hit, "One of Us." Eclectic as the Sunday paper, all in one lovely package. Nice.

Opening solo with an entirely a cappella number Joan Osborne commanded the stage. Comfortable and composed, yet not at all cocky, Joan held the room in her hand the entire set.

Joan Osborne is a total master of her craft and is an incredible musician. She has the ability to make every song a unique masterpiece. Her performance was a once in a life time, you had to be there experience. And last but not least she did not charge a fortune for the tickets and was very considerate to thank the audience for spending the money to be there. Joan Osborne is a class act!

I was curious about this show, since i've seen her four other times, always with a band. However, they filled the sound and the room, and then there's that incredible voice. It's as if every song she does become a Joan Osborne song, whether it's God save the Child or Why Can't we Live Together, and then of course, there's her own Joan songs, which no one could ever HOPE to sing as well as she does. Great show and an amazing voice.

I AM WRITING THIS FROM MY BOYFRIENDS ACCOUNT This was my first time seeing Joan. Ihave alot of her music and my boyfriend surprised me with tickets. My first impression of the Coach House is that it is a very comfortable setting. The opener was a young lady VERYexited to be there and was very well represented by family and friends. The next performer wasSasha Evans- Who seemed to have stepped out of a time capsule from the older days -She is very talented and her fiddler companion was very fun to hear as well.(recommend them warmly to see if they come thru.) Joan was up with Keith Cotten (who was amazing to hear) she performed songs from all her albums and gave keith a lot of room fto open up and be heard. A great show! I think Joan is very classy and likes to have fun when the audience gets to sing along with her. She even stayed after to do a meet and greet (as the others did too.) I will defenitly recommend her and see her whenever she comes around.

The two opening acts were both worth the price of admission to one of their own solo shows. Joan was, of course, AMAZING! Just before Joan sang a particular song, she explained to the audience that what they were about to hear was going to be just a LITTLE bit different from what they had been used to hearing from her, because she didn't have a 30-piece band behind her, or 15 backup singers, etc., and then she did an absolutely fantastic rendition of (Are you ready for this?) "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?" A quasi-orgasmic moment, if you please. Her keyboardist / guitar player was fantastic. He got a HUGE ovation after a magnificent solo on the organ, which I, personally, started, by yelling "YEAH!," and clapping my hands very loudly, thank you very much.

Joan is a consummate performer. She ran through a fantastic selection of tunes, past, present, and even a few not yet released on media. Her voice is outstanding... resonating throughout the room with perfect pitch, control, and expression. It really is something to behold live. Of course, she played her hits - but it was this intimate setting, with only herself and a keyboard player, where we got a unique glimpse of her full talent. Highly recommended. In fact, I liked it so much, I gifted tickets to a friend to catch the next show on her tour.

We saw Joan Osborne at Showcase Live in Foxboro in a stripped-down acoustic set, backed only by a piano. Her voice has never been better, stronger and punchier. She has fabulous stage presence and connects on a comfort level that put us all at ease and in her court. She sang some creative arrangements of some of her earlier material, some interesting new songs and some terrific covers. I know her setlist was limited, but in the future, I'd love to hear her sing "Right Hand Man" live again. Her pianist, Keith Cotton, was a revelation. He is the master of several keyboards and meshed well with Joan's style.

What a lovely event hosted by the city to celebrate women's right to vote. The performances were great. The cost was very low, except for Ticket Master fees. There were plenty of tickets available at the venue, so I wish I had not used ticket master (almost double the ticket price when adding their fees). The venue was also gravel which was unpleasant, but the price couldn't be beat ($5).

Joan has always been a favorite and we have all her music. This was an interesting show since she did a lot of new stuff which was definitely on the quiet side. There wasn't the expected Joan Osborne energy and the show was a bit of a let down. It looked like she might be having some throat problems as well. She will still be one of our favorites and I hope the new record gets her some of the recognition she really deserves.

Joan was on her game, her huge voice filling the Birchmere. Lots of new material. I was a little disappointed she did not include the Jimmy Ruffin tune. Her piano accompanist was excellent, but the guy on guitar looked like he had just woken up, and played the same way. I knew guys in high school who played with more style, talent, and enthusiasm.

We were so very happy with the Joan Osborne concert. In a close setting often it is difficult to enjoy the show because the music is so loud. This was perfect. I could turn to my husband and comment on a song or Ms. O's singing, and he could hear me. As for Joan & her accompanist, they put on a fantastic show. Such a powerful, pure sound. All that beautiful noise from 2 people- so cool. The event gallery was the place to be!
