They share their joy of rock and music, interacting intensely with each other and directly with the audience. They were generous with their time playing encores with verve and shaking hands with audience members at the end.

The Hooters were rocking. They connected easily with an appreciative hometown crowd. Unfortunately, they were poorly mixed. This should've been evident when Eric joined the opening act for their last song. He was playing a mandolin that no one in the audience could hear. It got bad enough that 3/4 of the way through the Hooters set, the audience members were trying to tell Eric they couldn't hear the mandolin. Disappointing. We were standing about 11 rows from the stage, dead center. The acoustics should've been perfect. The Hooters have lost none of their ability. The sound person didn't do them justice.

The Hooters have been together for 33 years and they sound just as good now as they did in the 1980s. Close your eyes and listen and you thought you were back at the Chesnut Street Caberet or anyplace else back in the day where they played. This was a FUN concert with everyone singing and swaying to their old hits. They definitely tailored their sets for the Philly crowd. They played what we knew and remembered and did not try to introduce new songs or material or push an album that no one heard. This was just great "old" music. Total strangers were sharing their Hooters memories. This was the must pure FUN that I have had at a concert. I would surely seem them again. I would go out of my way to make it too and bring a crowd from the "old days" to relive this important part of my life. The Hooters played at my freshman mixer at Drexel back in 1980. They were my intro to Philly and I knew that I found a "home" in the City of Brotherly Love.

I saw the Hooters in 1989 in Philadelphia and when they played at the Electric Factory this weekend, I felt like I was back in the 80's again. They sounded the same and we're amazing!!! Everyone was into the music and the place was packed. Had such a great time!!!

33 and 1/3 ...years of folk/rock, that's real people singing real plain-old music with all of their might for all of their lives, what a fabulous celebration, as Internationaly appreciated musicians, local as Cheltenham, both bands, The Hooters and Good Old War songfest at the Electric Factory, celebrating nearly 45 years of WMMR radio, Philadelphia history, music memories, were vivid, refreshed, and being reinvented, both bands dedicated to new compositions, every musician still eager to express themselves, performing together, with all their might, for all of their lives, still! How inspiring. How do we let this amazing Hooters band play so often, for the last two decades, across the ocean, with all of their talent..? Well, Good Old War, who just performed, Come Back As Rain, all across Canada and the US, we better keep them demanded as artists, or Europe will keep them too busy as well. I actually went to see rhe openers, and fell for the whole package. What a great evening. how polished popular can present is a pleasure. I am really grateful to Eric, Rob, John, Fran and David,

I've seen the Hooters six times now, and this might have been my favorite one yet. They played all the hits that anyone could ask for, plus lots of deeper album tracks for the more dedicated fans. They played every song but one from their breakthrough album, "Nervous Night," and they also played several songs from their debut EP, "Amore." It's so great to see a band from Philly stay true to their roots after all these years, and it was easy to see how appreciative the crowd was. It's always exciting when the local boys come back to their home town to play. The audience ate up every moment.

The Hooters are back and as strong/tight as ever. Have seen them since their debut @ Mattie's place in Levittown in 1980. The addition of the new guitar player and backround vocalist was a pleasant surprise and certainly a great add to an already talent band. The three original band members, Eric/Rob/David, can't thank you enough for staying the course and continuing to provide some of the best (if not the best) music to come out of the Philly area, which includes some outstanding artistis that go back to the late 50's. Enjoy the celebration in Harrisburg on Tuesday, and "rock em" > Philly style in Europe! Cheers / Joey, Pat, Patrick & Jeff

The show was great..All the guys are talented musicians and aimed to please. Played several encores.the show lasted over two hours.. highlights were covers of Fly like an eagle.. and Lucy in the Sky with diamonds. I know some people post negative reviews for covers.. but I really enjoy a different slant on old songs Very refreshing approach to the old classics. The band used to be one of my favorites in the 80s. It was fun to reconnect with all the great songs after not hearing them for so long

Had a great time seeing the Hooters down the shore. They came out strong, little rusty in some parts but overall a fun time was had by all. They played everything you would want and then some. Hope they do it again next year as I will surely plan on going. Was nice being right on the boardwalk even though the sound was just ok.

Unbelievable! Grew up in the 1980's at the age of 13 I heard their first hits and now in 2018 they haven't lost a beat! I brought my kids to the concert and they are hooked on The Hooters now- REAL MUSIC! They played for nearly 3 hours! So much music, so many instruments for just one band. At the end we were exhausted! They put on a great show, as always.

I have been a Hooters fan for 32 years. I saw them perform for the first time in Wildwood in 1985. I saw them 4 times in the 80's, and one time in each decade since. I have seen them perform in front of 600 people and 60,000 people. They never disappoint, no matter the size of the audience. They played their hits, and also some stuff from their cd's that are not as well known. Their 1993 album "Out of Body" is a masterpiece but got little airplay in the US. They play 20 dates every summer in Germany, Sweden & Switzerland to large audiences because silly Americans have no idea of the talent we have right here! They stayed after the show, signed autographs, talked with fans and took pictures! They are awesome to their fans!!

From the opening, I'm Alive to the iconic Beat Up Guitar, The Hooters never disappoint! Even after all these years, and that's 37 years we're talking about, they can whip the crowd into a frenzy with their amazing style, beat, and relatable lyrics filled with wonderfully creative hooks! It's amazing to watch their connection with the audience and each other as they perform. I first saw them at Live Aid in 1985 opening that historical day of music. I was hooked immediately and started my Hooters Adventure that will last a LIFETIME. And now 37 years later, they still can move a crowd into a dancing whirlwind of tunes that take us back to those earlier years. If they are in your town or in the vicinity, DO NOT MISS the opportunity to see them Live!!! THE HOOTERS WILL ALWAYS ROCK!

To the outsider, The Hooters had a few pop hits in the '80's. To a true Philadelphia, that's just not so. Their music catalog is diverse, deep, and amazing. Their most recent concerts have them playing deep into their catalog for almost THREE HOURS! No need for seats. We stood, sang, and danced for most of the show. The only downer had nothing to do with the band. The acoustics at the Ocean City Music Pier were not spectacular.

Great show at a good venue. The Hooters are a great band that packed the house. It just seemed the venue was not intended for a "closed show". Just curtains separating the gambling floor from the show.

the concert was held in a small venue, so every seat was up close. the sound system was set perfectly, even though I was only about 10 rows from them, it was loud enough to feel the bass, but it didn't hurt my ears. The guys sounded great. I didn't hear any missed beats, or bad notes. I would see them anytime

The Hooters closed out the two-year run of the Social entertainment venue at the Revel last Saturday night. They were in top form, and played to the emotions of the mostly local crowd who were there to experience an event that would normally be joyful, but due to the circumstances of the venue and surrounding region, was bittersweet, as well. They started out with an amazing cover version of Bruce Springsteen's "Atlantic City"--paying homage to their audience, and played most of their hits, spanning over 35 years. The highlight of the show was "All you Zombies", as well as "And we Danced". A very poignant moment in the show came when they dedicated "Silver Lining" to all the Revel employees (who were about to lose their jobs that weekend). It was an interesting coincidence that they closed the Spectrum a few years ago, and now they ended up closing the Revel in a show that many will be talking about for a long time.
