Seen Fisbone many times since 1992. Always a good time. This show was fantastic and The Sinclair is a great little venue.

What a show! 119 minutes of wonderful ska, punk, reggae, funk, and rock had the crowd swooning and swaying back and forth all night long. Front man Angelo has a near magical voice and is quite the sax player while Dirty Walt kept us entertained with his "colorful" comments between each tune as well as providing awesome trumpet licks. Flying Jay's trombone and histrionics set the perfect stage for Norwood's throbbing bass, Rocky's stinging guitar, and Freddy's keyboard wizardry all driven by John's artistic percussion work. Great show from start to finish included a reggae guest song by HR of Bad Brains fame and came to a crashing conclusion with a deliciously beautiful "Sunless Saturday." This was the last show of the 2013 Winter Tour so we'll have to wait until...to witness this tremendous band again. When they show up anywhere near you, BE THERE!

WOW! A friend and I attended this performance Saturday night, he a veteran of the band's power, I a neophyte. 114 minutes of bombastic sounds later, I asked him, "How is I never got into this band before now?" No answer to that question could suffice just as words can't adequately describe the multi-talented and versatile musicians that formulate Fishbone. Excellent harmonies interlaced with exquisite instrumentation provided one of the best shows I have ever witnessed. Horns, sax, guitar, keys, and drums played off of each other all night in a seamless symphony of ska, reggae, and rock that left all in attendance screaming for more. That's right...MORE...which is exactly what I'm getting next Sunday in DC and Monday in Baltimore. Fishbone IS RED HOT!
Fishbone sledded into town on the night of February's worst snow storm bringing a warm, fun California vibe and great classic Fishbone hits. The band was as tight as ever ripping through 25 years worth of soilid music. Despite the small crowd due to the storm, these guys played like there were 10,00 people in the crowd. Fishbone has once again proven they are the #1 touring band in the country and the band every American should see live before the music ends.

The band played for about 2 hours. This was the first time I have seen them, but have been a fan since the early 90s. They played a great mix of songs, even going all the way back to "Party at Ground Zero" from their first album. I took my girlfriend who had never heard of them before this show and she loved them! And she is not a ska fan per se.

Incredible. Stupendous. Amazing. How many superlatives can I use? It's Fishbone, and as always they're RED HOT! Loved it! Untouchables also brought the thunder. If you haven't been to a Fishbone show lately or ever, do yourself a favor and go! They will never fail to rock your world!

TOO BAD ONLY A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE SHOWED UP IN AC FRIDAY NIGHT. EVERYONE ELSE MISSED A GREAT SHOW! HAVEN'T SEEN THEM SINCE THE MID-90'S, SO IT WAS LONG OVERDUE. IF THEY PLAY ANY MORE DATES, GET OUT AND SEE THEM! STILL AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME. PS, I'M NOT SHOUTING.

The band were their usual awesomeness, but the venue was poor. Wait staff were less than friendly, and the management booked too many opening acts, and forced Fishbone to end thier set only a few songs in. Go see Fishbone anytime you can, just avoid this venue.

This was my first time seeing them perform, but I used to listen to them years ago & they give an outstanding amount of energy to the crowd. They get down and personal jumping into the crowd, giving the mic up for us to sing along...very cool!! I had such a good time!

I first say Fishbone back in the early 90's after hearing about them from a friend. That show was to about 2000 people and they rocked the house. This show was a little more intimate and Fishbone delivered a powerhouse performance. Angelo was vintage with his pin striped suit and pork pie hat delivering powerful vocals and rocking the Bass Saxaphone. You could feel his sax vibrating through your body. Norwood was incredible ripping the bass up and keeping that pounding groove going strong. I can't say enough other than, the entire crowd was dancing throughout the show. Fishbone did 3 encores and really left us all exhausted. On top of all that, Norwood and Dre hung out after the show signing autographs and taking pictures with anyone who asked. Fishbone is still red hot!

The energy at this show was out of control. Everyone was moving and clearly having an amazing time. Downtown Brown opened, and they blew me away. I had never heard their music but have checked it out since. A unique, hilarious, and talented band. Fishbone was one of the greatest bands I've ever had the pleasure of seeing live. They clearly value their ability to perform as much as their ability to make awesome music. So glad I got to see them! And the Duck Room was the perfect venue!

The first opening act Salita was good, they had a fair punk/metal set. Second up was Jakubi from Australia they had a funk/rap sound to them, really like them they a very good set, they also had the Zap Band thing going with the keyboards. Fishbone came on and once again blow the roof off of Sinclair there sound was too load! This is the second time I have seen them at this venue, last time my ears rang for four days after the show. This year they seemed like they phoned it in. I have been going to Fishbones show since the mid nineties and have seen them through down a great show! Last year was much better. I will be seeing them again when they open up for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones at the hometown through down! Hopefully it will be a better show!!!! :-)

I hadn't seen Fishbone in many years, and it was as if not a day had gone by. They sounded great, played an excellent set list, and the show lasted almost two hours. There were a few nice 'local' touches: HR, the singer for Bad Brains, did a guest number, and they opened their classic tune Cholly with a lead-in intro of Chuck Brown's Bustin' Loose. It was my first visit to the newly reopened Howard Theater, but I'm sure it won't be my last.

Not my first Fishbone show - nor will it be my last. Those guys consistently bring it, and Sunday's show at the Howard was no exception. The Howard is a great venue - the recent renovation job brought primo sound, lighting, and finishes. The staff is exceptionally courteous and helpful. It all adds up to a great experience - up to and including the guest appearance by HR from Bad Brains.

As a Fishbone fan since I was turned on to them in the '80's, it was awesome to see them still ska-rockin'. Angelo and the gang were tight with all the energy to get the crowd dancing and slammmin' the whole show! Great set, I can only hope to see them again and again. Peace. Fun venue with a helpful staff. Thx

Ive been a fan of the band for years and have most of their albums. I had never seen them live though I've always heard that they were fantastic. Absolutely true. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Period. These guys should be superstars but then again I'm glad I got to see them in a place as intimate as the Sinclair. A really cool new venue. The opening acts were excellent as well.

Fishbone put on a show that was as awesome as I expected it to be. The House of Blues Cambridge Room was a nice small venue to see them - although the speakers might have been cranked up a lil' too loud for a space of that size (or maybe I'm just getting old). Despite that, Fishbone played with as much energy for this small crowd as they would for an arena gig. Great show.
