Bad Suns

BAD SUNS IN CONCERT:Up-and-coming LA-based indie rock outfit Bad Suns continue to generate buzz, selling out venues across the country on tour in support of their 2014 debut album Language & Perspective. The talented foursome's relaxed, retro sound conjures up images of sun-soaked California beach days, but that's not to say their music is short on energy -- the infectious groove of tracks like "Salt" and "Dancing on Quicksand" make their live show a decidedly dance-friendly affair, and the band's charisma and chemistry on stage elevate their already-catchy songs to the next level. Fans lucky enough to catch Bad Suns on their upcoming tour dates will be getting in early on indie rock's next big thing.BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Bad Suns formed in Los Angeles in 2012, culling their unique sound from a variety of sources including world music, post-punk, and new wave legends like Elvis Costello and the Cure.

Bad Suns is one of my favorite bands....so under the radar right now, but this stuff should totally be on the radio! They are the only group whose two albums I listen to start to finish - with no skipping of songs and never get tired of. To be so young, they have monstrous talent. And they are sooooo good live! This was my fourth time seeing them over the last two years and they've only gotten better and better.

I never leave reviews but I have to say this was truthfully my favorite concert that I've been to. The concert was as the teragram ballroom which is really small and intimate and I definitely prefer this type of venue over larger arenas and stuff. I've only been to one other concert that had two opening acts and the first time it kinda sucked bc I couldn't wait to see the main act but with bad suns, their two opening acts- Kid Bloom and COIN were so good the music was great and the performances were so energetic it was really cool. As for bad suns themselves they just sound so good live I died and became revived after this show. It's that great . I'm speechlesssss

This was my 3rd time seeing Bad Suns & they honestly never disappoint. They only have one EP & one full length album out so their set is only about an hour long but that's okay. They do every single song from the album + 20 years off their EP. Christo is very energetic and has some sick dance moves. Sometimes he crowdsurfs but unfortunately he didn't do that at this show lol. Ray, Miles and Gavin are also pretty awesome. Miles normally gives away the drumsticks he used during the show so that's cool :) Will definitely be seeing these guys again asap.

Saw them as supporters for The 1975 in Carborro, NC as well as Charleston, SC and they just get better every time! Their music is catchy and fun to dance to! Disappointed at the crowd a bit though for the lack of movement haha. Overall, I hope I see them again! These guys are very sweet and funny in person too! Got to meet them before and after the show.

I thought this band was just a studio production listing to Cardiac Arrest on the radio. I was amazed that they sounds so great live. They are excellent musicians and really nice guys willing to say "hello" after the show at the bar. Strongly recommended show. Strong and fun album.

I've known of this band for about a year now..I stumbled upon them randomly one day while surfing the internet and I kept tabs, and listened to any music of theirs I could find on the internet/iTunes as it became available. I've been addicted ever since. In February of 2014 their song "Cardiac Arrest" was the Free Song of the Week on iTunes. I knew they were starting to gain recognition. I listened to their four songs from their EP nonstop! Then when their first album came out I was quick to memorize every word. I was finally able to see them live on July 19, 2014 at the 93.3 Big Gig in Denver, CO. This band is my FAVORITE band! I was in the very front row, and I finally got to hear them live. As their set progressed I could see and feel everyone around me getting more and more into this band. They definitely made a lot of new fans, and reassured their current ones that The Bad Suns are on the rise!
