We love going to the Shottenstein arena /value city arena for hockey games. Seating is great, bathrooms are clean, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff is always helpful. It's worth the 3 hr drive from Kentucky.

OSU was dominant in the 1st period going up 3-0. TTUN made it 5-3 OSU at the of the 2nd and tied in the 3rd. TTUN had a go-ahead goal taken away for high sticking the puck. Great win for the Bucks!

For $10 plus service charge you get to sit anywhere and what some great hockey. We were 2 rows behind the OSU bench. This was my 3 yr old daughters first game and she loved it. Will be going a lot next season.

My wife, a friend, and I attended OSU v. Notre Dame hockey and had a blast. Tickets are reasonably priced, the seats were great, and we could not have asked for better value. The student section and the band really helped offer a fun atmosphere. We will be going again. Go Buckeyes!

Always a great game between these two teams. My wife is an OSU grad and I am a Miami grad, so it makes for a fun evening. OSU has a great facility, but we were a little unhappy with the food (hot dogs and sandwiches were not hot) and surprised that they ran out of game programs twenty minutes before faceoff.

My first hockey event in the Shott and it was an exciting game. We sat in the Huntington seat level on the twice attack goal line. Very nice seats. I like the way the upper level is blocked off, made the Shott Center look very full that way.

Ohio State Hockey plays in a top notch venue, it's obviously for basketball, but for hockey, it's perfect, but I'm surprised the students don't fill it up, in 4 games in the place versus nationally ranked Miami of Ohio, the buckeyes have never won when I was there, this past weekend was a nite mare for them! Ohio State got a shut out friday nite and a painful comeback win from a 2-0 deficit Saturday nite, they will be ranked now! The top deck never gets used for Hockey, the ends are drapped off!

Great place to see a hockey game, people working their are great and helpful. Never a bad seat in the building. I think its better than going to see a Blue Jackets game for a family (no drunks and no cursing from other fans). Plus its the BUCKEYES what more do you need.

Friendly ambient, good game, every thing was good! except one little thing: there was no faLvored cofFee for me and no hot choco for my kids in the first floor, just a little surprising not to have these in a cold night game! they had them upstairs tho, it just took time to get there and get back to our seats.

As an adult well out of college, I forgot how much fun college can be. I went to the game with some OSU friends of mine. We sat in the student section. What an awesome time...the energy, the chants, the cheers, the whole experience! I smiled all weekend after that. Plus, we beat Xichigan!

we could not believe the value of the family four pack. the tickets we only $9 each and that included a small drink, small popcorn and a hot dog....what a value!! you could buy the four pack and only use two tickets and still save money!! PS....the hockey was exciting and a great time!! The Bucks won!!

After shutting out Michigan in the beginning, Michigan came back in the final period and looked like they had put the game away. OSU scored with less than 5 seconds left to send it to overtime and then a shootout, where OSU tied it again on the last/third chance. After 7 tries, OSU finally won the game on the final shot. Most exciting hockey game ever.

What an exciting game. We were up, they were up. OSU tied the game with 6 seconds left. Still tied after overtime. Went on to sudden death. Entire crowd was on the edge of their seats! Band is great too.

While visiting my daughter for the weekend decided to attend the hockey game at the last minute. If you are a Bucks fan, then any of their sporting events is worth seeing. We are big NHL fans and passed up seeing the Capitals to see the Bucks play instead. Great seats no matter where you sit in the Shott Center.

Fair price for seats close to ice. Row L was actually too close as the temporary seats that start in K are too high and many times a head was in the way of the goal. I like the venue and now know to be lower than L or several rows higher than L in order to have a better view. Now if MN had only won it would have been better.

We always have the best time at OSU hockey games. Resonably priced and great for kids. The Schottenstein Center staff could be a litte friendlier, but I can look past that for the amount of fun the kids always have. They had the Teddy Bear Toss on this particular night, and our girls really enjoyed donating teddy bears to kids at the Ronald McDonald House. They got to go on the ice after the victory and shoot a goal, too, which was super cute. Will definitely go back! Go Bucks!

Good hockey and great arena. Crowd was friendly and the hospitality was excellent. Parking was a dream, easy in and easy out. Too bad we lost. The seats were excellent with a wonderful view of the action, nothing was out of sight range. Hotels and restaurants handy.

Buckeyes beat the Wolverines! I have been to several hockey games in my lifetime and this was by far the coldest one I have been too. Most places it is comfortable to take the coat off and enjoy the game. Not only did I keep my coat on, but also my gloves, hat and put scarf around my face.

We took our six and a half year old grandson for his first OSU Sporting event. It was perfect - fast paced with lots of action. We were very close to the game and experienced the energy. Buckeyes played their hearts out. 2-1 Final in favor of our boys! Michigan State gave them all they could handle and other than the fluke goal off the right post, Christian Frey was superior in goal. Got tickets for the February 13th vs Minnesota. Taking my wife, her sister and brother-in-law. Gonna be a blast!

Of course, this was was a great event. Miami University ice hockey kicked the OSU ice hockey team's butt and won the game 5-1. Miami appears to be peaking at the right time of the season to make a run in the CCHA tournament. The Buckeyes appeared not to care and really rather phoned in their performance.

Biggest issue we have with this venue (Nationwide Arena) is the seats are so much tighter feeling than it is with the Schottenstein Center. A lot of the employees seems a little more stiff personality wise. The band sounded great in there the announcer was hard to hear and understand sounded muffled. We both enjoy the bucks at the Schottenstein better we didn t care for a BJ game because it seemed stiff and boring. The Buckeyes game was awesome best hockey game we have seen so far we are newbies. This was awesome. Every time we went to NWA for hockey we have ended up sick. Well I m now sick again. Coincidence maybe but glad we seen this game we enjoyed it completely.

My family had a great time at the Ohio State Hockey Game! My son was selected as the kid captain for the game. We got to tour the press box, watch the team warm up rink side, and he even got to give the players high fives on the way to the locker room. Our seats were great.

I purchased OSU-Michigan hockey tickets for my fiancée as a Christmas present. I selected the seats in the same manner I would have for any other event. When we got to our seats this weekend, we had to ask a woman to move from our assigned seats. She made a big deal saying that these were seats of a typical season ticket holder and that we should just move down to other seats. She said it was a "long story" but that the woman who usually sits there was on crutches. We refused to move from our purchased seats, since we didn't know if someone else had purchased those seats. We were made to feel uncomfortable the entire game. The individuals around us made it known that they were season ticket holders and we were not. They even asked at one point if we were even Ohio State fans. We ended up leaving early from the game because we were so uncomfortable. Is there a way to inform the purchaser that they are buying tickets that are typically season tickets? We will never buy tickets in that section again.

As a mom of two young boys (4 and 7) we love going to Ohio State hockey games. The ticket price is super affordable for families. Parking is free, and it s very close to the stadium. The stadium is right off the highway and even I can drive there with no trouble! It s definitely a very fun and affordable option for a night out!

The boys showed how much the have matured over the last couple of years by shaking off a horrible loss by a terrible team the night before. The Buckeyes penalty kill was challenged early. Two of MSU's 3 goals came off the PP. But on the plus side 3 of OSU's 5 came off the PP. So that's always good. Sad that this was the last regular season game of the year. It's also sad that all three goalies are seniors. Who's gonna be between the pipes next season? The Bucks lose a lot of talent this year. Good Luck against Wisconsin and in the Big Ten Championship!

This was our 10th OSU Hockey game and our second in these seats. It's such a great time and very inexpensive. There are lots of kids there so if you're going as an adult outing the weekend games are probably not for you. If you want to take the family for a night out this is the place. We love the interaction of the SkyCam. The band is always entertaining. We are close enough to hear the puck hit the goal post but not too close that you feel you might get hit by a flying puck!

My family and I had an amazing time. My step brother is an OSU fan and the rest of the family are Penn State fans. All of the employees were friendly and so were most of the fans. It was an exciting atmosphere and we all really enjoyed the experience! I may even go again when Penn State isn't playing.

Even though the Buckeyes lost a thrilling game in sudden death shoot out, seats were very good for the view but tight on the leg room.

These were great seats for a great price. Only wish Blue Jacket tickets were that much. But College Hockey was just as exciting. Will definitely go to more College Hockey games.

I'm not a true hockey fun, however enjoyed watching the game immensely. Ohio State University has so much school spirit, OH team wore cammo jerseys to honor veterans - that was very touching. Overall, everything was very well organized, from the parking arrangement through seating. Lots of families attended, and everybody had fun!

The whole experience of visiting the Schott for OSU hockey is amazing. The food is good, the staff is helpful, and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

I bought my boyfriend 2 tickets for the march 8th 2014 game for valentines day. Neither of us have been to a buckey hockey game since the 80"s. I will say we had the best time. It brought back many fond memories for him thinking about his high school buddies when they went to every home game. I didn't know the rules of the fans and a very kind usher in our section row 106 seat 7 and 8 shared with me when to get up and when to wait. I appreciated him so much. Buckeyes in any sport are the best "GO BUCKS"
