The Braves game was more than I expected. There was so much stuff for the kids to do and enjoy before and during the game. The slides & pitching and hitting booths were a hit with all children. The game was exciting and went to extra inning, ending with a Braves walk-off win. The players were so friendly to the kids and threw foul balls to them and also were more than willing to sign their baseballs. Adequate concessions, restrooms, and quality entertainment. I highly recommend taking up a game. I will be attending many more in the future.

I took my eight year old son to a Friday night game. The facilities are very clean and all the staff were very polite. The game was great. All the food was very good and somewhat expensive but expected. The fireworks after the game were great as well

This was my family's first real baseball game. My kids (7 and 3) had a great time. There was plenty of crowd participation music. Since it was Sunday, there was no alcohol. The 4th of July fireworks display was fantastic! They offered $5 for the next night's game if you brought you ticket from the current game. My husband is taking my son and his friend back tonight. There was plenty of security so I didn't feel at all unsafe. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked, which is important when you have a 3 year old girl. My only negative was the cost of food and snacks. I know that's where they make a lot of their money, but $3.50 for a 20oz. drink is ridiculously expensive. I told my husband that I will make them some turkey sandwiches to eat on the way to the park tonight. Despite my one negative, I will be taking the family back to watch the Mississippi Braves play at Trustmark Park.

The Braves showed no enthusiasm and the game was very boring. The dancing girls were shown off too much. The price of the tickets and refreshments were way more than I would have paid if I would have anticipated the amount of enjoyment we had. I should have spent my $90 on dinner and a movie. The kids were even bored to death. If the players want to keep a crowd then they should at least hustle a little and the coaches should take a few chances and not wait for something to just happen. It seems to be getting worst every time we go. I want be back for that price. Sorry.

We went to the game on a Friday night not realizing there would be a firework display after the game. The Mississippi Brave organization really knows how to entertain a crowd. There were 5 of us all together that went from ages 80 down to age 22. It really is a fun affordable family outing that we highly recommend.

My father, son, and I attended a family day with the Mississippi Braves, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were fun things for kids to do (i.e. inflatables, jump house, etc.). The food was pretty good, but you definitely pay for it. There was lots of entertainment between innings and a couple of cool give-aways (i.e. a dozen donuts from Dunkin' Donuts and a couple of free pizzas from Pizza Shack). They sang happy birthday to a few young children who stood on to of the third base dugout. The game was fairly entertaining. The stadium was top-notch. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

We love going to the Mississippi Braves' games. Friday night was no exception. It was about 89 when we got to the stands, but it was shady, and we felt a breeze the entire night. There are so many things that go on during the game, it it not ever boring! You see all ages there...wonderful entertainment for everyone!

I expected to get bored during the game, but I was so wrong. There were activities for the fans alll throughout the game that kept the event interesting and fun. I've been to fireworks shows before, but the fireworks display at the end of the game was the best I've ever seen in my life. If you go to a Braves game, stay for the fireworks show. It's awesome!

When we got to the ballgame, there was a special event so the line for tickets was wrapped around the building. Purchasing tickets on here cost $3 more, but worth it not to stand in line.

not only did the braves play a great game 5-4 in extra innings, but there was constantly something going on. there were silly games and contests for little kids, as well as us "big kids" not to mention all the things they gave away.

We took our 5 year old son to see the game for the first time, he had a really good time, my only complaint was the the players did not autograph the kids balls,hats and gloves out of all of the players, I think that only two or three players signed..it may not seem like a big deal to the players but for a child, it is.

The Braves lost this game.I still had a great time though they give away things between innings and they play games between innings on the feild.Afterward on friday nights they put on an amazing fireworks show.I would recommend this to anyone.Great place to take the family.

The Mississippi Braves games are a lot of fun. The game is the major part, but there are many things that go on...fun, fun things. An addition this year are the dancers...adds to the game fun. A great outing for anyone...all ages! On firework nights, that is a big plus! Only complaint...concession stand lines are way too long...they need more help...stronger supervision.

There is something for everyone at Trustmark Park. They added the new diamond dancers this year and I think it's a real crowd booster. I would and have reccomended going to a game. They are not the best team in the world, but it was a good game although they lost 4-3 the last inning kept you on the edge with the bases loaded and 2 outs.

This was my best experience at a professional sports event in memory. Lots of personnel that were friendly and helpful. Concessions were very good and prices just a little above what you might pay at a fast food place...only better food. Very clean ballpark and large concourses. Not a bad seat in the ballpark. Looking forward to going again.

I love going to the Braves' game. My kids love going, too. The only thing that could make it better is if there were no alcohol and cigarettes! I know that's not going to happen because some people go just to drink. We'll still go, but sometimes the stench of beer is not very appetizing!

Growing up as a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan in Southwest Mississippi during the 1980s, I can only imagine how many vital organs I would have given if the Braves' AA team had been located in Jackson, 2 hours from my hometown. Ironically, I lived in the Greenville, SC, area for a couple of years before the team relocated to MS, but by then I was long-gone from the Magnolia State. I've wanted to return to MS to watch the M-Braves play since they landed there, but I wasn't able to do that until this May. I really enjoyed the experience. Trustmark Park is a very nice park, and AA baseball is a fantastic entertainment value. I was able to spend some quality time with relatives who still live there and whom I don't often see. We enjoyed the fact that they had a free Crocs promotion. I also commend them highly for a pro shop full of high-quality, ultra-attractive merchandise and encourage them to continue to do what they do well. Steve DeSalvo (the GM) was well respected in the Greenville area, and I'm sure that's the case in the Jackson metro area, because his management skills are quite obvious in the M-Braves organization.

On Friday July 17th I went to a Ms Braves game along with my sister, my daughter and my daughter's friend. I had purchased 6 tickets several weeks ago for a family outing. On Friday July 10th my oldest daughter was diagnosed with "mono". Still we hoped that she could make the game. After a week of long days and even longer nights of high fever, fatigue and aches she did not make the trip. I tried to sell the tickets, but was unable to on short notice. So, I and my youngest daughter made the trip and it was delightful. After a tough week we had a few hours of downtime that was so enjoyable. The game was awesome and the fireworks afterward were spectacular. Of course, since my whole family could not make the trip we will be returning. The facilities were really nice and made the night all the more enjoyable.

Well the game was called after the second inning. A rain shower had came through and left the field messy. We were told we could bring out tickets back at another season game and have a rain check. We went to Sat. July 17th game and had no problem getting in of even getting seats that allowed all 11 of us to sit together.

My children and I decided to purchase MS Braves tickets for my husband/their daddy for Father's Day!! My husband/their daddy is an avid baseball fan and we just knew he would enjoy a little hometown baseball. The gift was a success!! Not only did he enjoy the game...the entire family enjoyed the event!!

This was my first pro baseball game. I'm not really a baseball fan, but my husband is. We took one of our grandsons, and we all three had a ball! I was especitally impressed by the way the players patiently autographed caps, programs, etc. Our twelve-year-old grandson, who is not from Mississippi, bought a Mississippi Braves baseball cap and got three autographs. He was delighted! We also got a kick out of Rally's antics. Although the Braves lost, we still got our money's worth.

When we got there, the game was starting. I did not realize until the end of the game that it was a doubleheader. At the end of the 7th inning, the players for Mobile started congratulating each other.I had to wait until we got back to Starkville to learn that because the prior day's game was rained out, they played two 7-inning doubleheaders.

The July 4th braves game and firework show was amazing ! This park always has great give aways and awesome games for the fans entertainment ! The game was entertaining, especially all the little activities they do between innings. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the seat was uncomfortable. The seventh inning stretch was a blessing! However, this is not a big deal because the problem can be solved: 1) get up and stretch/walk around more and 2) bring a seat cushion. Overall, a fun experience. Well worth $15 for a seat behind home plate. I like that you can choose where to sit.

The facility is in great shape, the seat pricing is a excellent value, and the staff was very friendly. If you're from anywhere in Mississippi, I would definitely recommend that you give a Braves game a try.

This game was a great experience and came at a good value. First of all, Trustmark Park is a top-notch facility; definitely among the best of Minor League Baseball. The place was clean, well-staffed, and the concessions were well-priced and delicious. Secondly, the staff was friendly. Sitting at the Club level, we were all given menus by the staff who also offered to run to the concession stand for us when we wanted something (I actually decided to go myself, since I wanted to us the opportunity to stretch my legs). Finally, the seats were great and came in at exactly $25 (including the service charge). My view was slightly obstructed since I was sitting on the 1st row (which is actually below the level of the playing field), but it wasn't unbearable (for the best view, I'd go with the 2nd or 3rd row). In conclusion, I'd definitely recommend attending a Mississippi Braves game to anyone. It's a great value and a good way to support a local enterprise.

Trustmark field is a great venue. This was our first visit to Pearl, MS. We are big Braves fans and love going to minor league games in GA. The park staff was very friendly, the park was clean and the vendors had a great selection of foods and drinks. The souvenir cup was huge! The craft beer selection was very good for a baseball park. They had at least 12 different craft brews available.

The Mississippi Braves are a good team with some players that are going to help The Atlanta Braves when they're called up to play in the majors. I was particularly impressed by several pitchers from both the Mississippi Braves and the Huntsville team and one batter's warmup exercises, practicing timing his swings with the windup and delivery of the opposing team's pitcher. Smart. As was the big scene caused by the Braves manager when a close call by the mpire went against his team, pretty well guaranteeing that...the next time it was such a close call...it would go the Braves way. And it did a short time later, allowing the Braves to score and go on and win. But will someone please arrange some good lessons and great choreography help for the attractive but uncoordinated and clumsy Diamond Dancers. Seriously..

Fun time for your family. All the seats are good seats. Its the all american past time dont miss out on seeing some up and coming stars right here in our little town. Food is a little pricey but to be expected. The fireworks are fabulous.

Great fun for the whole family. Although the game was rained out in the 5th inning after 2 rain delays. They were still able to pull off a great fire works display. And to top that off the Braves are going to let us trade our tickets in for any game in the season because of the rain out. Thanks Mississippi Braves.

Not fun. Game was good, but all the "extras" they used to have are gone. No on field entertainment, no on field games for the kids between innings, no drawings, no Jaco's Taco's, NOTHING ! Attendance was very low. The fireworks weren't even as good this year. Atmosphere was boringly awful. If you can, find something else to do.

I was visiting from out of state and drove by the ballpark. Looked up tickets and luckily enough the Braves were playing on my last night in town. The game got rained out and re scheduled after 4 innings. I was leaving the next morning so unfortunately I couldn t watch the rest of the gam. Great facility and staff. Would definitely go again.

I'll never go to another July 3-4th baseball game. Heavy radio advertising bragged on DOUBLE fireworks. They were much smaller than previous fireworks! And they weren't very high, kind of fizzled midway thru. Truly awful, and no big finale. Parking was horrendous. They have at least 5 parking entrances, and they made everyone come in & leave in ONE GATE. There was no police directing traffic, so we sat close to 45 minutes. plus we lost the game and it was really hot.

Game lots of fun. Food expensive as with most events of this nature. Getting out of the parking lot after the game was horrendous...a free for all with no one directing traffic and some of the exits blocked with barricades...really unacceptable.

The game was fine, as most games are, but the Braves home games have changed in the last couple of years. We used to have on field entertainment at almost every game. Now we have none. I think this year, there were/are only two big fuzzy creatures for the kids. We used to have different vendors offering services and product samples for different things. Now we have none. Ballpark concessions are always expensive, but this last time around, the popcorn was stale, the mustard is watered down, take one lick off your ice cream cone and it hits the ground. I saw this numerous times, including mine. The crowds aren't as big anymore. There are no promotions to speak of anymore. Very few this year. Ball games are for adults, too. Not just kids.

Rainout....rain had stopped at game time but heard the field was not covered in time so no game. We had to leave Jackson the next day so could not use tickets for "rain day". $32 wasted. Two star...not their fault it rained, their fault field was not covered. Did have more showers later in the evening so play would not have been pleasant and may have been called eventually.

We surprised our 2 children with tickets to the game. It was a great family atmosphere. We enjoyed the game. At the end of the game, we were able to watch an amazing firework display. The kids loved it as much as the game. We would come back as often as we could.

I have been to many braves games in the past and I loved being there. Tonight was special I had my two teenage grandsons with me. The seats we chose (I didn't know) was the place where all the 8-11 year old boys gather to try and get the players to throw them balls. There were approximately 5 empty seats in front of me, which were taken over by 15 boys. Triple seated in each one, who stood for most of the game trying to get balls. One boy had up to 5 balls and was still trying to get more! I explained to the seating attendant that these were not their seats. That they were standing and noisy and we couldn't see the game. He talked to them a couple of times, but they continued. The whole game was miserable. Do not choose this area unless you have young boys. As far as how well I would have been able to see the game had all those children not been there? Very well! Plus the braves had the socks beat off them.

They were very unprepared for this game. The staff wasn't that helpful and kind of rude at times. I went to 4 different food locations and everything I asked for they were out of starting in the 3rd inning. How are you out of food for an all star game. A couple times the staff member smarted off to me. I've been to many games here and by far this was the worst experience I've had and it was at an all star game with people from all over. I was very embarrassed for my city.

I have always wanted to attend an All-Star Game, but the MLB one seems out of reach both practically and financially. So, I decided this year to try the Southern League All-Star Game. This was great fun for me as a huge Braves fan to be able to do it in Mississippi Braves stadium. We got to see first pitches by a number of Braves from the dominant 1990s teams and a game that was largely dominated by pitching that was punctuated by a grand slam by the team that the baby Braves were on. Do beware that prices here were in line with MLB pricing rather than most minor league pricing, so they will definitely separate you from your money if you are not careful.

This is a great outing without breaking the bank! The stadium is very nice and parking was free! Check the Mississippi Braves internet site for the "promotional events". We got seat cushions as we entered the gate! After the game we watched a tennis ball toss for prizes and then FIREWORKS!!!!! The AA and BB seats are too low to see the field. They are dugout level behind home plate. I couldn't see the baselines or second base. I recommend CC or the section seats.

Opening day was GREAT! Opening on a 'thirsty Thursday' made it even better! We had a great time and the seats were spectacular (sect 105, row T, seats 1 & 2)!

FUN! The night was full of family fun! We enjoyed the ballgame, various activities provided by the park for the fans, and the ballpark food. We even enjoyed the short rain delay and watching the very fast rolling out the tarp to cover the infield. Some of the players threw game balls out to excited children and some of the players even hung around post game for autographs. The firework display after the game was fabulous! Overall, a pretty perfect night complete with a Braves' win, a game ball, a fan appreciation prize, great ballpark food, and even live music! Perfect place for a family outing--really not a bad seat in the park.

This was my wife and my first M Braves game. From the parking attendance to the fans, everyone was great. The stadium is clean and the prices are great for the seats. Concession and gift shop items were extremely well priced. They kept the fans engaged throughout the game and the game itself was awesome. Having attended an Altanta Braves games; I can say this experiance tops that. You don't have big league names or the huge stadium but the smaller scale experiance actually makes it more enjoyable. We are planning on attending several more games this season.

This minor league game had several major league plays! I mean these guys are hungry for their shot in the bigs and they made some spectacular plays. The seats we got were perfect. My daughter and stepson caught 3 baseballs. Need I say more?

We were kind of disappointed. This was our first time to go watch the MS Braves and the place was packed with school students. Now I don't mind kids being at a ball game but why weren't they in school and what was educational here? They were running up and down the isles not watching the game. There wasn't any announcing during the game about anything going on the field. Only announcing the schools that were in attendance. There weren't any vendors selling anything except if you went up and stood in line. We used to live in Alabama and went to the games in Mobile and those were fun. The vendors were out selling popcorn, peanuts, drinks up and down the isles while we enjoyed the game. There was announcing runs, who was up to bat and when the innings were over the score. The park was nice but we walked into the park and no one ever checked our ticket, the security was lacking.

We loved the Mississippi Braves baseball game. Everything they did was so much fun to watch. The fireworks were amazing and we enjoyed them so much. Will hopefully come back next weekend for their final home games.
