Despite waiting a long time to be allowed into the seating area it was worth the wait and an amazing show.

What a performer Will definitely recommend the show

The show started with Atif Aslam (the guy with the high pitch) and was mediocre. I was hoping to see Sonu Nigam throughout the show and Atif by his side. Well Sonu came in only after the intermission and his performance was astounding. If I had known, I would have come in late to the concert. Overall I enjoyed the show as Sonu put up a great performance.

Even though Sonu Nigam is a very talented musician, this show didn't show any of his talents in any form. The program would have been 100 times better if he would have just sang those songs with out any background music. I don't know what the sound engineer is thinking. It was too loud and unbearable, especially with the drums. Every time the drums starts it was like sitting under an F16. The whole program turned out to be some thing like a bar music. I didn't go to his program to listen to bar music. I could have gone to a local bar in Phoenix to hear that. Ridiculous program!!!!..I know that he can do 1000 times better than this.

It was great show. He sang all the favorite songs., took audience requests and sang almost all of them. Great interaction and lots of masti music. Slow numbers were also amazing.

Sonu Nigam tried to be too much of a rockstar and not a good bodied singer as he is. Headache event, no music and no singing

Started more than hour late Started with 2 local performers they took away 30 minutes away from the concert In the beginning sound was too loud, it was later adjusted after many request by Sonu Nigam during his performance Floor seating are horrible, they do not take into account hampered viewing- level is not optimal with reference to stage height Sonu should stick to his original and famous songs instead of changing his famous songs tunes and rythms. I would go see Ghulam Ali when I am in the mood to listed to that type of music, I was there to hear you sing your songs in original Overall, okay as he is very talented singer and performer but disappointing at times.

Sonu Nigam was unbelievable! He is one of the best musicians in the world. I am a little disappointed because he only sang for 1.5 hours. I was expecting him to sing for 2.5-3 hours.

It was a great show put out by the super entertainer but I would have enjoyed it even more if Sonu had sung his own songs rather than other artists'. Klose to My Soul concert that happened in LA on May 31 seemed more for older generation as most of the songs sung by Sonu were from older era. All those songs were great but I went to hear Sonu's own songs which didn't happen and so was a disappointment.

Superb...mind blowing performance by sonu nigam.am looking it overall being a proff.singer the sound was gud.setup was fine also, sonu performed his best song plus famous rafi numbers like gulabi ankhain, kya hoa tera wada..he slowly picked up pace changing the tempo of his format to rock.with mujh sy shadi Karo GI, bijoria and tu aha soniyay mesmerized the crowd, aftwrada he showed how to make a song from lyrics to composition with ever changing moods and parodies of singers and composers .this was most awesome. In the end he remembered his mother and dedicated songs to her.

The event was full of mismanagement, started 2.30 hrs late of schedule time, nobody was allowed to take their seats until then, sonu sang few bollywood hits which were totally outdated like songs from partner and om shanti om.

Let me start by start by saying that the combination of Sony Nigam and Atif Aslam did not make any sense. There was hardly any collaboration between them. These were two half concerts rather than one full one. Both the singers performed for roughly half the time (mostly independently), but while Sonu's performance was fantastic... Atif's was completely the opposite, Pathetic! Even a layman could make out that Atif was struggling with his singing and was more interested in posing like a rockstar. Sonu on the other hand did not have to pose, he just let his talent do the needful. I just wished that Sonu has more stage time and also would have sung some of his newer songs (goggle song?). 3 stars for Sonu, 0 stars for Atif. If you are a Sonu Nigam fan just go the the convert 1.5 hrs in so that you can skip the torturous singing from Atif.

Singer's are superb all performances excellent but the main thing not well organized very delayed start the show suppose to start by 7 but it they started by 9.14 . It's very hack tic

Organisers kept the audience waiting for two hours. No apology. The show started at 9:08pm . They put a lady singer for 45 mins. Me and my group had not come to listen to this unknow Lady singer. Having made an effort, driving over an hour to see the show with kids. There was a group sitting above us who had driven over two hours. How disgusting of the organisers and to top It all the SOUND was echoing as if the audience was clapping all the time. We left as soon as Sonu Nigam sang two songs.

Atif did a great show but Sonu could have done better. Wasted a lot of time instead of singing. Just a very average performance. I would not go to see his show in the near future.

Terrible concert to waste $300, started 50 minutes late. All three performers were horrible. Heave metal music doesn't suit either of the 2 big performers. Couldn't wait to leave, left early.

Show was very nice but Lyric clarity was poor. Music was over powering singer. When they sang a song we were not familiar you could not catch words of lyric.

The show was very entertaining! Especially Sony nigam he was amazing ..a rockstar! Atif Aslam was good however he doesn't have much of a stage presence and wasn't able to engage the audience ,his choice of songs and rendering was below average . The opening act by a newcomer was terrible and should not be repeated..ever.

It was a great time. Atif's rocking performance and Sonu Nigam's crowd interactions. Enjoyed it.

It was fairly big venue. Very secured. Sonu and Atif gave us wonderful performance. Awesome indian food buying options during the event. Sound was little louder than the comfort zone! Overall good experience!

One of the best singers from the subcontinent, coming together. It has to b superlative.

Was disappointed with this concert. The band was so loud that u could hardly hear the singer's voice. They should have arranged it better.

The sound quality was very poor. We couldn't hear the artists as music was too loud and overpowering the vocalists. We could nearly understand what he was singing.

While Sonu Nigam is known for his credible portfolio, Atif Aslam has done a great job in a short time. However, despite Atif taking almost 60% of the time, it was Sonu who proved his mastery with a combination of emotional, romantic and foot-tapping Bollywood numbers. Sonu also showed his magnanimity by giving Atif another opportunity to come back on stage and rather do the duet part - where they sang songs of great legends of past from India and Pakistan, and finally each others' songs as well. Overall a great night but would have loved for Sonu to get more time.

Atif Aslam was simply amazing! I've seen him before but this time was mind blowing! Sonu Nigam, on the other hand, was disappointing. I am a huge fan and have seen him twice before. But this time he wasn't performing very good. He was acting extremely hyper and wasn't seeing any of his songs fully.

Atif sang for 2 hours and Sonu came in last hour. Not good selection of songs.

Sonu, I assume, was late to the performance so Atif had to cover. I mainly came for Sonu's performance, and when he finally got on stage (after 2 hours of Atif), he only sang for an hour and didn't go into much of his repertoire before calling Atif back on stage to sing with him. Also, I feel that there was too much rock background music mixed in (losing a lot of the song - which is saying a lot because they only sang snippets, and not the whole thing; plus, it was incredibly loud/ear-piercing) and the background dancers were distracting. That being said, he was really nice/funny on stage, but overall, it was disappointing.

Both Sonu and Atif are incredibly talented. Thoroughly enjoyed their performance!

Simply Amazing. Especially loved Sonu's unbridled passion and energy and Atif's segment of non movie music and duets with other singers, as well as Sonu and Atif singing together. Lighting was amazing, especially some of the special effects!

Totally not worth the money if you only like to hear Sonu sing. Atif Aslam sang for 1 hr 50 mins and Sonu sang solo for less than 45 mins and then another 45 mins of Jugalbandi with Atif. Almost all the tickets were sold based on Sonu Nigam's name, however, who you saw is not what you got in this concert. Atif sang some Islamic songs, whereas, even though Oct-1-2016 was the first night of Navaratri, Sonu did not sing any Bhagwan-oriented songs (even a Ganesha song would have helped start the concert). Totally pissed off with this experience and will attend future events only if it is a 1-man show.

It was the best concert ever! Even though I was sitting a bit far away from the stage, Atif and Sonu didn't fail to impress even at a single moment during the event. First Atif performed and he was simply amazing! Then Sonu performed and he was also too good! But then when they both performed together, I just felt out of this world! I got no words to describe how it was and how I felt while I was there. I mean you just got to be there to experience such miraculous and extraordinary talent. It was undoubtedly spectacular!!

I am fan of Sonu Nigam and love his songs. His show was Awesome! Atif was great too and combing both great singers became the best show!

Very disappointed to se that this was more of Atif Aslam show than Sonu Nigam live. SOnu nigam hardly sang any songs (very few). Will never go for his show if it is going to be like this.

Sonu Nigam was just amazing, mesmerizing... words fail me. His years of training and dedication show on stage. He is a total showman like Kishore Kumar. He engaged the audience, had humor and emotion and of course amazing voice. Atif Aslam was also amazing. He is a rockstar and has improved significantly over the years.

Was disappointed with the show. Start time was not as expected.

I wanted to write on several items - 1) parking cost of $40 was just outrages. Everyone complained of this. 2) the timing was awful - show was to start at 7:00PM, but did not until 8:15PM. 3) I did not pay the huge cost to come see the fashion show that was presented prior to the artist first appeared. 4) Artist should know that Indian Music does not go along with background group dancing. This was not an complete eye-sore. Such dances are of Western theme. 5) Music was TOO load - could hardly hear the artists voice. 6) Lights were too flashy that started to give me a headache. 7) Sonu Nigam hardly sang a complete song - only some verses from here and there. 8) Getting the audience involved into singing with the artist went to extremes.

The show stared 75 min late. No announcement and audience sitting and waiting. After 75 Music concert starts with fashion show ridiculous ! Both singers were good. Once they killed enthusiasm it is difficult to enjoy the concert

Atif Aslam and Sonu nigam concert was superb. It was such a great event to watch live these two amazing performers performing .

The singers are amazing. I love both of them. However they were late and we waited for long. Second the sound quality was bad. It was hard to understand the words, meaning the music was louder than singers voices. When they were hitting high notes you could understand them. The Parking is So Expensive $40. Next time the venue should not be chosen.

Delayed start by almost an hour . Unthinkable Atif was quite good , after 30-40 minutes , he started to stretch and kind of things got boring , Sonu lifted the show and game . Enjoyed the energy on and off stage . Staff managing the show were horrible , not allowing people to dance on sides when Sonu was performing. No one allowed near stage . These were all missing when Atif was performing. We should have staff who can understand music and not robots.

It was a wonderful experience to get to see atif and Sonu live! I have always been a big fan of both of their songs and voices! Show was very nice :) It was nice to sit and easily see the stars from where I was sitting without paying a super hefty price. It was my first concert so definitely was a memorable one!!! Only downside was that I would have selected a few different songs of Sonu's!

It was a horrible experience until Sonu took the stage. The event started more than 90 minutes late, and surprisingly people were expecting that as most of the people came in at least an hour after the scheduled start time. And then Atif Aslam just made it worse. He was just horrible. His voice was bad, the music was bad, somehow he and his fellow musicians managed to make some of the most amazing songs sound really bad. I thought the sound system in the arena had some issues. All of that changed once Sonu took over the stage. He was simply amazing. Great singer, amazing voice, fabulous performance. The event got dragged on till very late. I finally left the arena at 11:30 PM, and by then also the event had not finished, which I think was too late for a Sunday evening.

The artists have soulful voices. They care about their craft. Their humility, despite their deserved fame, is obvious as displayed by their desire to impress their fans and gratitude to God for bestowing opportunities upon them. My mother & I have enjoyed Sonu Nigam concerts. My mother was familiar with Atif Aslam's music but I had not heard of him at all. Based on my mother's description, I was expecting a concert with romantic songs. I found Mr. Aslam's songs to be filled with longing. But, since I was unfamiliar with his songs, I had great difficulty deciphering the lyrics since the accompanying music drowned out most of his voice. It wasn't until he sang the Mehdi Hassan ghazal that I could appreciate the true quality of his voice. My mother & I were hopeful when we noticed that the musical arrangement was being changed prior to Mr. Nigam's portion of the performance. The rendition of the first few of his songs did not disappoint. He could be heard clearly despite the accompanying music. My mother & I were, however, horrified that Mr. Nigam decided that classics from Kishore Kumar & Mohammad Rafi needed to be modernized. While I was glad to see these classics introduced to new generations, I found the arrangement of the songs to be disrespectful to the musical directors who were geniuses in their own right. Much like the sun, the brilliance of these artists of old needs no amplification with electronic manipulation to appreciate their greatness. Not wanting to listen to another minute of heart pounding, headache inducing noise, I wanted to leave, but my mother convinced me to stay. I am glad she did. The best part of the show was when Mr. Nigam & Mr. Aslam sat on stools and sang songs to minimal musical accompaniment. We marveled at how exquisite their voices are!!! That is what we wanted to celebrate that night. They evoked wonderful memories such as my first dance with my husband at our wedding reception to 'Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Me..' some 21 years ago. As your careers flourish & your repertoires increase, instead of singing a compilation of different songs, please choose a select few songs to sing in their entirety. This way you will do justice to each song and set a mood instead of running through song tidbits. Please start your concerts on time so that you do not have to disrespect your fans who had to leave early so that they could get their kids ready for school on Monday before heading off to work themselves. REMEMBER, regular people do not have the luxury of your lifestyle. Please don't be disheartened by this review Mr. Nigam & Mr. Aslam. While my mother & I will pause, ever so slightly, before we purchase tickets to your concerts in the future, we remain curious about the evolution of your artistry. We wish for you eternal, fulfilling partnerships with your respective wives, children who you raise to be happy adults, and continued success in your careers.

Great great show!! I wud go again and again!!!!!!!

The event was great and Sonu did a great job of engaging the audience. It was mostly peppy songs and melodies took a back seat. The good thing was he sang few 'unplugged' numbers although it was short-lived. I would have preferred more melodies but it is my personal opinion A word of caution: I didn't enjoy the event to the maximum because I don't know many Hindi songs. So I wouldn't call this event to be worth the penny if you do not follow Bollywood numbers. There were times when I couldn't relate to songs at all but it's just me Final verdict: If you regularly follow Hindi music (black & whites, 80s&90s and the last decade) and you prefer crowd entertainers then this event is just for you!

Loved watching Sonu Nigam live. He is a complete entertainer. And a great Orchestra. The only thing I would like to see next time is for him to sing more of his own songs. It is never the same to hear a song in someone else's voice. He has an amazing collection of his own songs. Need more of that. Also the second half after the break was smaller than expected and appeared very abrupt.

Sonu Nigam is a great artist. But he did not sing his own songs that made him a star. He sang extreemely old songs. The concert was boring...

Concert was great! Sound was clear and the orchestra was magnificent! There were 3 huge screens to give everyone sitting anywhere a great view! Negatives: It started about an hour late He talked mainly in Hindi, which was a bummer if your spouse is American or non-Hindi speaking :(

The songs were old and was originally sung by other singers. Sonu ji did not sing any newer song and in his previous shows he used to play with songs and mix it amazingly. This show was tired and lacked anything worth remembering. I remember attending his show in melbourne , Australia in 2012. He was amazing and that made me come again. But after this show I will think a second time henceforth

Sonu Nigam has a magical voice and I enjoyed every minute of it. Live orchestra was excellent and Sonu is a great entertainer. His song selection was a surprise as he picked lot of songs from other artists (from 70's and 80's), but still enjoyable. The only only negative was he didn't show up until 40 mins after the show started (which started 30 mins late to begin with), so it got frustrating for people who got there on time for the show. Overall, a great musical evening to cherish....

I thought he should have sung more of his songs than other singer's songs. not that what he sung was not good but I wanted Sonu Nigam to sing his songs. I was waiting for songs like Saathiya, Suraj hua maddham ( was sung without music), Soniyo, tumse milka dil ka hai jo haal, ishq bina and more of his hits.

I took my mom and my aunt as it was my mom's 75th birthday and my aunt gave her ticket as a present and they both really wanted to go. I have never seen them look so happy. Like they were taken back some 40 years with the songs he was singing. Both of them are widowed as my dad and my uncle passed on a while back and it so much fun to see them so happy. I thought I would be bored but truly enjoyed the show. Sonu's voice is one of a kind and his symphony wowed the crowd. I also loved the dancers... I would definitely go again!

Sonu Nigam is a great entertainer and a great singer. It was not just a concert but an overall entertainment show. In addition to the variety of song selections from various singers and music composers old and new, Sonu Nigam presented things like "how songs are made", "how people from different regions of India interact", etc. which made it a very engaging show.

Not a great show if you do not understand Hindi. However, music part was entertaining and oh man he had the energy and it was worth the time, money and effort.

A most enjoyable performance. Loved every minute of it. I did miss the fact that he did not sing at least one Bhajan. I listen to his Bhajan CD's nearly every day, so it was a disappointment that while the concert is labeled " Klose to the Soul" --- it does not even have one number acknowledging the Almighty.

What a remarkable show experience. Sonu Nigam truly is a an entertainer. There are lots of artists very good at doing what they are famous for (singing, dancing, acting, comedy, etc), but very few actually qualify to be an "entertainer". He kept the audience alive and involved most of the show. I spent $112 per seat as I bought the ticket late in the game, but felt very satisfied in return for the entertainment value.

One of the best shows I have seen in a long time. His voice is unforgetable and choice of songs was fantastic. I cannot say enough about him except that he is a truly an artist and entertainer in every sense of the word. His father's presence and voice lended depth to the entire performance as well.

Sonu Nigam is an awesome performer and entertainer. We were never bored during the show because he kept the audience engaged. The audio was clear and not too loud. We had kids with us and they were engaged for most of the show. I would recommend this to any Sonu Nigam fan who have yet to attend his concerts. He sings a lot of oldies and also some of his own. The live orchestra was great.

Klose To My Soul was amazing and managed very well. Congratulations to the organizers, Sankara Eye Foundation & others. Although Sonu Nigam came late and I would like the performer to be on time but after he came he entertained the audience thoroughly.

At George Mason Univ near DC, Sonu Nigam's concert in May 2014 was absolutely a horror show. He spent about 15 minutes showing a video of his mother and then started crying while singing the next song. We were not there to attend a funeral. Also he had audience participate in lots of singing. Seemed like some horror Karaoke show to me. And many songs did not belong to Sonu himself- he was singing Kishore and Rafi songs. Never again am I and my family wasting time and money on this guy.

The program was a super success. The lavish orchestra, the singers, and the attention to details was unbelievable !

The event was suppose to start at 8 pm but I reached with my husband around 6.30 pm and was surprised to see large crowd gathered out there.There was bollywood songs been played and people dancing around. .There was stalls for food, jewelry and entertainment. .Was happy to see such a large indian population which is rare in Cincinnati where I live.People were allowed inside the auditorium well on time and we had prebooked our tickets so occupied our seats and got ready for the show.It was started by a new singer Jonita Gandhi who sang some amazing old songs and then Finally Sonu Nigam came on stage.He lit the stage on fire.He sang some Mohd Rafi hit songs as he is a huge fan of the legend. He made the show very interactive involving the audience every now and then which was a plus point.People were clapping , singing and dancing. It was truly a night to remember and I will treasure this moment for the rest of my life

Sonu Nigam is great singer and have excellent Voice. The selection of songs was excellent. Overall it was a treat and worth putting efforts and Money.

total waste of time not expecting froma person of his caliber. Basically a singer but on the stage instead of singing he was acting like an actor. BORING SHOW WITH NO SONGS FROM THE SINGER JUST 'JUGALBUNDI' NOT PLEASE DON'T CALL HIM BACK FOR ANOTHER 10 YEARS.

Very good show , nice songs wonderful performance , great people and best of all I had good company .

I have been to many concerts and this was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. It seemed to me that the sound system was set up by a high school A.V. club. The microphones for the orchestra were much louder than the singers themselves. On top of that, the microphones for the singers made their voices extremely hard to understand. Their voices sounded muffled to the point where I could only understand 1 or 2 words throughout a song. Even as Sonu was just speaking to the crowd without music it was just as bad. Extremely poor. I would never recommend this to anyone. Waste of money and 3 hours of my life I will never get back.

The performance was AMAZING!! Sonu Nigam performed practically 3 hours!!

Very poor selection of songs, though some songs were good but Sonu sang only a few lines and not the whole song. The acoustics was extremely poor. The evening was a waste of $55.00.

Sonu Nigam was awesome on that night. As this was his first concert on this tour to US and Canada he was full of energy. Although he started singing with old songs from Kishore and Rafi but later on he went full on with his songs. Second half was kind of okay as he was singing slow and old songs but I still liked it. He was trying to please the entire crowd as there were people from different age groups present in the Arena. All in all we enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend to others if you haven't seen him ever performing live on stage.

The entire show was absolutely fantastic. Sonu Nigam is a mixed bag of entertainment. Kept the audience well entertained. The only flaw was the late start of the show.

Sonu Nigam was great. We loved the show. The whole experience was great. Except for the unruly crowd on our way out. People lack basic courtesy for others. They will drive over you if they could.

I must say that I wasn't expecting the concert to be in an ice rink, but it was fun nevertheless. The best part was the full orchestra and the amazing music that they played. Sonu Nigam as always was a beast of a performer on stage and tackled every song with such creativity and improvisation that it was a out of the world experience. Even though fold up chairs were uncomfortable, the crowd was amazing. They actually understood music, going quiet when there's a good piece or a difficult singing part. Overall, I can't recommend Sonu Nigam enough. Even if he sings under a bridge, you should go and see him, but I hoped for better seats and a better venue for an artist of his stature.

Knowing Sonu Nigam and what he sings , Sat at Wembley Arena was absolutely rubbish. No proffesionalism what he showed at Royal Albert Hall 2 years ago. Did not enjoy , waste of time , sure he could have done lot better , never again
