This show had everything. All the feels, all the music, and all the drinks (mmm). Allen Stone's voice is smoother than melted butter and I'm hard pressed to find someone else out with such amazing skill. Saw him in Atlanta as well but this venue combined with this set list made the experience nothing short of amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Ps - sat front row and it felt like i was in the band I was so close.

I took my 16 year old daughter to the show, and it was a huge success. We have both been fans since he appeared on Live From Daryl's House several years ago, and he did not disappoint. The entire band was great and seemed to genuinely have fun. It was infectious. The entire crowd was amazing (only a couple of drunken idiots to deal with) and it's hard to beat a venue like HOB. We were right at the front of the stage, just off center, and the sound was perfect...not too loud and a great mix. These kinds of shows bring people together,

There wasn't a huge amount of people at the concert but I contribute that ONLY to the fact that this guy is a best kept secret. Great performance by Allen and the band and I couldn't stop dancing the whole time. His voice is spot on and there didn't seem to be a single flaw in the overall performance. Also, I was able to meet Allen and he was very friendly with the audience. I could tell he appreciated all his fans and I was easily able to get a pic and signed album. One of the best concerts I've been to. If he's ever in this region again, I'm there.

Allen Stone is amazing in concert & you are missing out on the full experience of his music if you haven't seen him live. Tommy & The High Pilots are fun performers whose genuine love for music can be seen during & after the show. Highly recommend both performers.

Great show! Both bands were really, really fun! I was really impressed by Tommy and the High Pilots, and Allen Stone did not disappoint. Plus, they did a double encore! Great show all around. Constructive criticism for the venue, however, is that the half seating, half standing thing was a little awkward.

Amazing voice of Allen stone is hard to process with his appearance...he says his soul music is a little greasy and he wanted to get sweaty so we could all be friends by the end-- also cover of "I can't make you love me" was expertly performed but made me not love him. In fact I think that song tipped the scales from unique to cheesy. The drummer without his shirt was super hot and kept a sweet beat, but must have been pretty cool in the nearly empty and ingested star ae back stage. The 70 or less people in the audience didn't warm things up much. The keyboard player totally rocked! Overall the venue may have been the venue that made it not-so-cool, but if you read this Allen please play your own songs...from the heart they are better and more believable.

Allen Stone is the next big thing in soul music! Besides having an incredible voice and an incredible band behind him, the man is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. And if you go to one of his shows nationwide, you will most likely be able to kick it with him by the merch table after he performs! What other artist is taking the time to thank everyone for coming and stays around to take photos with them!?

My husband and I had the best time at the Allen Stone concert! His energy and voice are amazing! He even personally met all his fans after the show and graciously took pictures and signed autographs for everyone. The band was also incredibly talented. Allen is a true talent and I'm a life-long fan. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Allen Stone in concert, he's gotten me more excited about music than I've been in years!

I thought the show was great! The venue always wonderful. It is so nice to have such an intimate setting with an artist you love. I was surprised to see the first bad come in before Tommy and the High Pilots. Made for a long show, but both Allen and Tommy were so great and left their hearts on the stage. I love seeing artists go all out when they perform. I would recommend anyone to see Allen Stone as many times as possible. This was my second time seeing and I'll continue to see him whenever I get the chance.

From start to finish this show was nothing short of amazing. The opening act was engaging and got the crowd involved. As for Allen, he is a special breed. He oozes passion and charisma. Every time I see Allen Stone or hear his voice my heart smiles! His voice is hypnotizing and his band?!?! They are so much fun and talented. He has found a great group of people to make music with and you will not forget his performance. I love his "Free Love" bit he does and I wish we all really put this into practice. When I saw him at the Brooklyn Brewery earlier this year I was hooked and never looked back. I also got to meet his drummer Black SOurdough and he was so nice and friendly! I pnly wish I got the meet and greet now. I found out way too late about it. I hope one day he will play at my wedding and make me the happiest person on earth. Thank you Allen for keeping music with a positive and inspiring message alive <3 I pride my self on not getting caught up or obssessing in pop culture and mainstream celebrities. I find much more joy and comfort in hearing a voice that just speaks to my being. That is Allen and his band!! There is no one who holds my attention like you do!

This was my fourth time seeing Allen Stone-second time as the main act--he gets better every time-this was the most fun, loud audience sing along I have ever been to. Allen was amazing and his band and back up vocals were also incredible. I've never seen anybody walk through the crowd giving loooong "love hugs"-was very nice of him-hope this wasn't his last time in Knoxville-he could easily pack out the Tennessee Theatre, but I'm glad it was at the smaller Bijou this time!

Allen Stone and his band EXCEEDED our expectations! They've only gotten better from the first time we heard them in Portland at the Blues Festival. I still have an 'ear worm' going since the concert 5 days ago! The crowd seemed to feel like the 4 of us--loving every song, fully appreciating Allen's showmanship and how he loved the crowd and performing. The new music is great, so we anticipate years of hearing big things from this group. We think they will get 'really big' and we are lucky to catch him at the start :) LOVE his voice, energy, lyrics, band--the drummer is awesome!--it was a really fun show!!

I hadn't heard of Allen Stone and went just for the fun of it! So glad I did.... He had us up out of our seats for all but three songs. The band is just as engaged as he was. I left that concert happier than I've been in a long time.....imagine the 60s, a little Janis Joplin, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and Joe Cocker. Allen Stone's music is so soulfull and he and his band shined in the atmosphere of the Ste. Michelle Winery. He is the perfect act to relax and sip wine to. The show was incredible! We missed the opening act, unfortunately, but loved that he came out and did a couple of songs. The music was great, the audience was loving it, and we were able to see the stage from pretty much everywhere in the venue. The only bad thing was a speaker blowout during the show. It killed all of the sound, mic and instruments. But Allen kept on singing, engaging the audience until they fixed the problem. And he re-performed the song we missed! The opening bands were excellent. Bonavox was composed of musicians from around the world with a Script-like feel to them. Bad Rabbits were...BAAAAD, like stupid goood. Their dancing and crazy licks on the vox and guitars were reminiscent of bands of the 70s but are totally current. It was refreshing. Allen Stone--OF COURSE--did not disappoint. He's even better live. I appreciate that he uses real instruments, including horns. Every member of that band were on point with the level of Allen's talent. Allen even stuck around to take pictures with people. Such a nice guy. Definitely a great artist, all around. If this show doesn't get you dancing/moving, I don't know what will. The only bad thing was the smell of weed that came in waves.

Allen Stone is not only an amazing musician, he is also a brilliant performer. He makes the concert feel like one big jam session in his basement, it was absolutely amazing. If you thought his albums are great, you haven't seen ANYTHING until you see him in concert. A wonderful person, performer, and presence, he is an all around sweetheart. On top of that he stays after to talk, take photos and hang out with his fans for a bit. Allen Stone is something else. Definitely want to see him live again soon!

Been an Allen Stone fan for years, but this was the first time seeing him live. We were truly impressed with his stage presence and energy. Way better than his recordings. I hope he keeps growing because his music needs to be heard.

Awesome show at a great location! I would go again! Please put big screen live video on either side of the stage for those of us who want to really SEE each artist/musician.

Allen was absolutely great. We never been to his concert or even listened to his CD, but he captivated the audience of young and old. He reminds me of Stevie Wonder. He has a unique voice that just has SOUL.

I had heard great things about Allen Stone live and he was even better than I expected. Please have him play again soon!! Was very pleased with the event as a whole - parking was easy and well priced, wine and food options were great, good view of the stage from our reserved seats (except when people stood for a while), and music of course was fantastic.

I was not at all familiar with Allen Stone, but had heard a great deal of buzz about him. I went with a friend who is a huge fan. First off, the opening act was pretty dreadful. It was a duo, guy and girl, called Sisters. Really karaoke-ish. So, Stone was a pleasant surprise. His gravely falsetto is very cool. It's hard to believe that voice is coming from a white guy! I love that he's soulful, and his band is tight. That said, he needs to pull back on the extended vibratos, as they get tiring after awhile. Also, he just tries to hard - he doesn't have to, his voice speaks for itself. I enjoy an artist who works to connect with the audience, but he talks waaay too much between songs. However, I do believe he's a genuine talent and a genuine guy, and no doubt he'll gather an even larger following with his first major label release.

Allen Stone was in fine form and voice for his first big-time hometown concert. He got the crowd up and dancing and fostered a wonderful feeling that I haven't experienced at a concert in a long time. He did some stuff from his forthcoming Capitol recording, some tunes from his eponymously titled CD, some covers and some old stuff - a very nice mixture. He was clearly having fun basking in the love that the audience reflected back to him. A great star just about to hit it really big!

Allen Stone is an amazing singer, he has the voice and talent that very few have. He defines soul music because he sings with so much of it. His concerts are always a blast. Always on your feet, and his music just lifts your spirit.

Allen Stone did a great job engaging the audience to participate and enjoy themselves. For me and my husband who are first-time attendees - we felt included right from the start. For our daughter, who has gone to several Allen Stone concerts in the Seattle area and in fact met Allen and purchased his first CD back when it was just Allen and his guitar when they were both 16, it was the great show that she was expecting. I wished we had looked for the tent that sold his CDs to enjoy on the way home but we will be on the lookout for his next album release. I must say that the Chateau Ste Michelle Winery venue is absolutely amazing, what a perfect evening.

Allen Stone is a fantastic performer!! Very commanding stage presence and kept the audience involved! The only disappointment was when he invited people to come up to the front of the stage, he was turned down by security. I mean really?? We were a pretty mellow crowd. Also thought the bathroom situation was pretty meager.
