The game was good, and the seats fine. However the entire evening was spoiled by those plastic trumpets that they sell at the game. I had children behind me blowing those directly in to my ear without parental involvement. The parents were not much better. These trumpets are too loud for such a small arena and should be banned. Everyone likes to have fun, but unfortunately all I got was an ear ache.

My husband and I took our 5 year old son to his first live hockey game. Great seats good snacks and lots of action. Also the 2 o'clock game was a perfect time to go. We definetly will do it again.And hopfully resume our 10 pack of tickets.

Front roww at the Amerks-Hamilton hockey game the day after Christmas. The Amerks played a great game and we loved the front row seats along the glass. My 8-year-old son was attending his first hockey game and the Amerks, Bulldogs and front-row seats made a great first impression.

Awesome game!! Had 7 family members join us by our season ticket seats and even though some were "newbies", they thoroughly enjoyed the game. The Dollar Dogs and Dollar Drafts definitely brought out the crowds! We even did the WAVE throughout the arena and got hoarse cheering our team on to a great win!! Hopefully this game will convince some fans to be more consistent in coming out to see some exciting games and keep the fan crowd numbers increasing...

From purchasing tickets on ticketmaster to going through will-call to pick them up to getting seated and getting food this event so smoothly it was easy. Even for us husband and wives who dont get their families out to do this very many times. The Amerks did loose a close one which put a damper on the night. Maybe next time they can get a win.

The Amerks are a great time with family. There is never a bad seat in the house. Also, the team is playing great hockey so you can see great hockey without paying an arm and a leg as you would if you went to see the Sabers.

That game was friggin insane!!! Shut out 3-0, with syracuse now 0-3 against rochester. Salak was on point in the net all night long, Mink got physical, Brine shut down the syracuse power play lines, and overall just dominated! Oh, and kudos to Beaverson for trying to put his fist through Harvey's cage in the 3rd. LET'S GO AMERKS!!!

I'm a big fan of the NHL and watch regularly on television but I've never been to a hockey game of any sort in person before. I thought that the game was pretty exciting and the arena was very clean. The price of the tickets are relatively cheap and I had a great time. It's much better than spending the night home staring at the TV. Comparing the game to a Rochester Red Wings baseball game, I would have to say that the Amerks game was much more exciting and entertaining. I just wonder why more people do not attend. I'm looking forward to attending another game this coming month!

What a great time we had! Great game, great skaters. It seemed that the Amerks had it all. Facility was clean, plenty of help from the ushers, food was good. Wondered: "where were all the people?" With the small crowd we were able to check out the view from three different seats, to get an idea where we want to sit during the next games. Will go to more games this year. Where else can you see professional hockey on the red line for $20????

Seats were super close to the Amerks players which is definitely a plus when you see the hard work they're putting into each attempted shot. It's also very encouraging when the coaches are motivating players telling them what a good job they're doing throughout the game. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to go and see the Rochester Amerks play at blue cross arena and supporting their local hockey players for that matter! Intense game and fun to watch with friends and family.

The BCA is a modest sized arena in Downtown Rochester. It s main tenant the Americans are always a good time and even more so when they win. I liked the fact that they have upped their game as far as food and drink goes offering some pretty good stuff. Like a Mac and cheese stand a stand with specialty sandwiches as well as regional brewery stands. The staff are also pretty nice as well. Overall a pretty good experience.

Team needs to have SABERS goalie back! Venue terribly overpriced and overrated. Video scoreboard froze on our side of arena half-way through third period until game over, but the advertising section still functioned. NICE!

I hadn't attended an Amerks game in more than 20 years after moving to Atlanta. I got used to big venues in that city, which always makes comparisons tough. However, the Amerks do a great job of engaging fans and bringing excitement to their games. And the city did a nice job opening up the arena and bringing in natural light.

Easy to get to location with plenty of parking nearby with totally safe passage. Electric atmosphere with good food and drink at decent prices and friendly fans. All terrific views and seats comfortable enough to last through the game. Bring the whole family - no regrets.

Exciting hockey but the fans were horrible! The fans did not watch the game at all, were constantly getting up, moving seats, and chasing the mascot non-stop. It was distracting and annoying for the people actually trying to watch the game.

I originally purchased two tickets through Ticketmaster for $26 a piece plus fees. The total came out to be $69.90. Just before the game I needed another ticket but they were unavailable on ticketmaster so I bought it at the event. I paid $10 for the seat next to my two original tickets.

The team needs to play hockey - check, skate and have the desire to win. They were outmatched by the Lehigh Valley Team and were afraid to use the body to control the game. They got behind and then started hacking so they were in the penalty box throughout.

The game I saw was a typical early season AHL game, as expected. The arena could use a new sound system, a new public address announcer who actually knows what a hockey game is and who doesn't scream into the microphone (I guess that was his attempt to make it more exciting), and a new video board. Fans were friendly; overall a good experience. Professionalism of the non-game aspects of the announcing, video, etc was not up to AHL level we've seen in other arenas.

The game was great, and my seats in the first row of section 104 were great to view the game from. My ONLY complaint is that the seats themselves are in dire need of being replaced. They were extremely uncomfortable to sit in, but at least this time, I didn't have a completely broken seat. I simply had a severely overused and wore in seat. The arena has numerous choices for concessions, which makes it one of my favorite venues. Please get new seats & you would get a 5 star rating!!

Attended the game on Friday March 4th to see Richie Dunn, Daren Puppa and the Booster Club inducted into the Hall of Fame, great ceremony and great game. Section 109 is a great section to sit in; right near the net that the Amerks shoot at twice, so we enjoyed all 7 goals they scored. Great night out! The food was good too.

Rochesters arena was very nice and the view from our seats were good to see the play of the game. The ushers were a little confused as to how the lines were going to operate and their security should stand out more not just people in grey jackets. Prices for food was some what high for what you got.

Rochester Americans vs. Hershey Bears was a great game!!! 60th anniversary of the Rochester Americans. Many alumni. A packed house. Lots of excitement!! I used to attend the Amerks games with my best friends family when I was a young girl (early 80's) and this is how I remember it!!!! Now, my husband and I bring our children and they love it as much as I did and still do!!!!!! Excellent game, Amerks!!

I attended a Amerks hockey game at Blue Cross Arena and while I love the feel of the arena, it could definitely use some upgrades. I sat in section 111, row A, seats 4 & 5 and both seats were broken. Literally the hardware fastening them was busted and both seats were completely worn in with butt prints. Thankfully I am not a season ticket holder because that would be horrible. I also wasn't a fan that the "glass seats" aren't actually on the glass. It was nice that folks could walk by without us getting up to let them pass, but when you buy first row tickets to a hockey game, you prefer to be right on the glass. That being said, for those of you reading this & not aware, I was sitting in the corner. The seats straight on the glass did appear to be truer glass seats than the corner. I love that the arena has many options for concessions, they get a 5 out of 5 for that!

I took my 8 year old grandson to this game, which was his first hockey game. We had a really great time.... EXCEPT for the people who were sitting in front of us. There was a couple with a kid who was about the same age as my grandson. The kid wore a hockey puck hat which was huge, and my grandson couldn't really see around it. Plus they kept sitting forward and standing up which obstructed our view from the game as well. We finally moved our seats so my grandson could see and enjoy the game. The game was great and we had a good time. I just wish the fans would be a little more respectful. I've been to hundreds of games and see this often.

The Amerks may not be the best team in the AHL, but they put on a great show! The venue itself is quite nice, too. You don't have to walk very far to find a vendor for whatever you might want. The bathroom facilities were plentiful and, more importantly, clean.

Hockey is hockey & I am a big fan so being there was great. Really did not like the fact that ticketmaster would not let me pick my own seat location. It kept kicking me back to `best available`. I have been to enough games to know where I want to sit, I don't need a computer to tell me where is `best`. I also am not thrilled with the Blue Cross Arena`s decision to not to respond to me when I asked about handicap parking & what type of `special vendors` were available for food concessions, oh well, they didn't get any food money from our group, ate on the way to the game.

With the exception of the Amerks losing, the game was fun. They were really good seats, it's a solid place to watch hockey, and the arena is a nice facility.

We love hockey but live a long way from Rochester. Made the trip to see the Amerks play the Crunch. We had great seats - on the glass, close to the blue line. It was a great game and fun for us to see the Amerks win. Hockey rocks!! Best team sport ever!!

Great game. Amerks won 3-1. #25 was a beast and fun to watch. The 2 scores by the same player were sweet also.

Sat three rows up for $21 / ticket and watched lots of guys who would be regular NHL'rs if not for this lockout. Great rink, great hockey, great night. An Amerk's win would have made it better!

These were the best seats available when I purchased for this game, my sister is a New Jersey Devils season ticket holder and wanted to see this game. You always wish that you could get better seats but during the Thanksgiving Holiday, these were good enough. We saw the game and had a good time.

My family really enjoyed the event. We all miss the NHL and would definitely consider going to another Amerks game. The venue was great and the Amerks were really entertaining.

With NHL owners and players working through their issues, the Amerks provide a great alternative for Sabres fans. Many of these players have and/or will play in the NHL, and deserve the fan support. The level of play and intensity was great!
