Criss Angel MINDFREAK LIVE!

This was my first time seeing Criss Angel in person. And I heard it was his first stop in Texas. The show was amazing, and I would go again for sure.

This show was worth every penny paid. I had great seats so being closer is definitely desired when watching this type of show. They do have a big screen and close up cameras for those that are sitting further away. The show was a mix of magic, illusion, music, dance, acrobatics and comedy. Criss and his cast mates are all great entertainers. I would highly recommended catching this show while it's at Foxwoods.

I had seen Believe quite a few times so when Criss announced his show was changing to Mindfreak Live of course I had to go see. So many mind blowing moments it's hard to even describe how crazy this show was. Mindfreak Live is DEFINITELY more Criss' personality and I love how he made it his own. My best friend, her boyfriend, and I attended the show for her birthday which we have done a few times before. Criss ALWAYS makes it a memorable evening. We can't wait to go back!

This was so disappointing! He only did a few tricks. Most of the show was scripted comedy acts or him bragging about himself. Definetly not worth the money.

I'm a fan of Chris Angel, but the show had more lame comedy than magic. I went with a party of 4 and we all were very disappointed. Our minds were NOT freaked! What Chris is able to do is amazing, but the show really didn't do his talent any justice.

The show in general was a lot of fun. They did a great job making people laugh. The comedic element was amazing. Unfortunately, that's not what I paid to see. I love Criss Angel for the illusions that he does and the mind blowing things that keep me wondering for days. There were only a couple acts of this as it was mostly all "tell me what you're thinking and I'll show you that I knew you were going to say it before the show" and some slight of hand tricks. All in all, I would probably only buy tickets to see him again if it were in Vegas hoping that there would be some cooler illusions. Again, comedy wise, it was hilarious. They did a good job making people laugh. But that's not what I paid for.

Let me start by saying I have seen David Coperfield many times and have left every show amazed so this was not my first show of this type. I was very disapointed in the Chris Angel show. There was what I call a lot of "fluff". I didn't pay good money to see videos and pictures of Chris as a child or to watch videos of him performing stunts/magic from past shows. Nor did I pay good money to watch two adult people act as fillers to do comedy that in my opinion wasn't the least bit funny.. Not only was the show not what I had expected but the ending was very disappointing! I clearly saw Chris Angel running past me squatting and then seconds later magically appear seated in the audience. Not only was that a disappointment, his last illusion where he disappeared, the fabric box that was raised around him was bunched on the back corner of the box and when he was to magically disappearing I saw him jump backwards into what I imagine was a hole in the floor. When they dropped the fabric he was gone. Ha he was gone because he jumped off the platform into a hole in the floor. I was very very disapointed to say the least. .

Pretty Cool! Saw him in Foxwoods. Not a bad seat in the house, could see everything. Would recommend seeing him there if in area. Sometimes can get cheap, but nice, rooms on groupn.

my daughter and i really enjoyed the show, but were slightly let down. the tv show is all about levitation and mind-blowing, large-scale stunts. the in-person show, had nothing to do with those sort of tricks. her favorite part was that criss walked through the audience touching people's hands. she said that alone was worth our over 5 hr, one-way drive. the bit of a side show/comedy act definitely helped the show to move along. some comic relief was much needed.

Chris angel is the man, it was a awsome show and I would go see him as much as I can. The stuff he dose is just mind blowing. Theres no way to even think of how he can do that stuff

Criss angel is an amazing performer and magician! His show is amazing and I want to see it again! Hopefully one day I can see his show in Vegas! Go see his show now! You won't regret it!

This show was horrible.. I was so disappointed. He spent more time talking about his Vegas show and boasting about himself. I felt like it was an info commercial at times. His magic was ridiculous. Like we real thought for one minute he was cutting someone in half. He has 2 assistants if that's what they are call with stupid jokes running around the stage. And the audience participation? Really I think there was more plants at the show than in a garden center. In all he probably did 15 minutes of magic and at times no one clapped. BAD BAD. We had more fun after the show talking about how stupid it was and the only constellation was good friends, drinks and a nice dinner. Don't waste your hard earned money..

I watched his shows on TV and liked better then live, would have been better if he did more of the illusions and unbelievable gigs like levetate but he mostly talk about his life story, clowns where funny but I can see that at the circus, over all I would not spend the $ again.

This was the second time we had seen Criss Angel perform & we would see him again & again if given the chance! Mindfreak is absolutely amazing! Between the music, the lights, the atmosphere given, Criss Angel didn't miss a beat! Love, love, love him!

Amazing show!!! Truly the most Gifted performer around!! Absolutely hilarious, flawless prestige!! Had the chance to meet him after the show down in the founders room truly a nice guy, made my year can't wait to see again in VEGAS!!!

The show was absolutely amazing and all that my wife and I expected it to be. Definitely would recommend this show! It's a combination of showmanship, comedy & astounding magic and illusions.

One of my favorite details of the show is the significance of the mirror think about just how many times it reflects back on so many faces, the Dark Side of Xristos, or the Christopher we all know and love with his generous kind loving side as well as Criss Angel the #1 Magician on the planet . Whether you've seen Chris Angel once or many times over, it will capture so many emotions watching the show. You will be left in awe, with illusions that are mind blowing, to fearful where you have to look away and scream, down to capturing your heart and shed a tear. The show reveals the best of the best, what Criss Angel is known for with his signature tricks and new content all packed into one show. A must-see for any fan of magic or a Loyal. I have seen the show twice now, the opening Premiere in Akron Ohio and again in San Antonio Texas. Criss strives to be the best at what he does and continues to make it perfection.

This guy has been doing this for a bit now and he has a very polished live show. Highly recommend you catching this if you have the chance.

It was wonderful, every seat in the theater was a good one. The stage was equipped with monitor. Everyone could see. What a show. So great we did not have to travel to Las Vegas. Go see it if he comes again. Worth every penny spent. Thank you Chris.

I've never been to a magic show and I never seen Mind Freak live only on TV. Brought my cousin because she has seen him live in Vegas once or twice. She loves him. It was a great show. Everything he did, I didn't expect. There is so many tricks he did and his assistance were awesome. Didn't like the fact they were so strict on cell phone use but it makes the whole experience more memorable. You could tell he was an entertainer and that he loved what he did. He was so comical!

This was amazing. He is an incredible magician. What a show! Went with our family. Everyone was fascinated.

The show was amazing! I ll admit the start was a little creepy but quickly progressed to an awesome show. Both my husband and I loved his performance. Would definitely see it again.

It was Las Vegas in San Antonio at the historic and beautiful Majestic Theater. What an evening! Criss is clearly one of the most accomplished magicians in history. He also comes across that he truly appreciates his fans. Amazing show....still thinking about that iPhone in the Vodka bottle. WOW!

The show was a disappointment. Certainly did not live up to what we were expecting. Every thing was pretty standard 'magician" act except the act that made Criss, "Criss" - "who wants to go clubbing" where he does a couple of table acts. - Honestly his two special guest (did one trick each) were more entertaining then he was. - Maybe our expectations were too high. After seeing David Blain, which was mesmerizing, we just expected more. Stick to the street. Perhaps the night started off wrong with all the Majestic Theater Phone Nazi Ushers literally yelling and threatening the audience about phone usage. Really? Was that necessary? Spoiler alert: The end of the show was totally anti-Climatic. Chris in a chair, video, a touching song and him making confetti.

MindFreak live was a lame, below average, poor performance Criss Angel show. Don't waste your money attending it.

Best show ever. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I was completely amazed and have not been on the edge of my seat ever while at a show!

Not impressed at all by Criss. Very cheesey circus performances that are so predictable and you can see how the "trick" is done. The only real disappearing act was my money and when I left the event. I wouldn't even waste my time, yet money on seeing his Vegas act. I'll be just partyn & clubbing.

predicable and boring, he didnt do anything spectacular except for one illusion. he did stuff hes been doing for years. i paid 120 to see stuff that he did on his show and is all over youtube. hes attempt at being a comedian and break dancer fell very short. i left the show early.

I was really excited to see Criss Angel however was very disappointed. The show didnt not open all the potential of Criss Angel. He looked like an average magician, who tried to compensate his mediocre show with too much taking as well as showing his assistants. I wish it would be less talking and more real Criss Angel act.

I was all excited to see chris since we couldnt attend his Vegas show. The whole show was very amateurish. Tricks were very obvious on how they were done. I expected more from the best magician in the game.

Too far couldn't see too far Also I was falling asleep .. not that entertaining Sorry.

Criss is amazing! Fox theater is so easy to get in and out! If I could complain about one thing...I wish he could do MORE magic. He s only on stage for maybe an hour...but it s a pretty awesome show during that hour.

This was the best show I have ever been to! I would recommend it anyone that enjoys magic.

I went to his show just for something to do. I was never really into him that much. But wow! He blew me away. It was an amazing show!! He is a true entertainer. He gave this whole motivational speech at the end of the show which really showed how good of a person he is too. I will definitely support him again.

Great show I took my daughter to celebrate her birthday she was happy. The only thing I don t give the five star ⭐️ is because the light depends we re you setting you can t see the show or you blind.....

Criss is amazing and what an inspiration. He is truely a talented person who loves to entertain his fans. Wish it was longer but he was doing a back to back show that night, so understandable!!!

I saw the show at Foxwoods 6 out of the 8 times this run in November. First night one of the cast members got sick unexpectedly before the show so you can tell it threw off their plan, but still a very good show that evening and entertaining. I wasn't sure what to expect after seeing it in Vegas to be honest. The next night was even better tho, he added a levitation act then on Saturday night was KILLER, so good! .All the little things or changes made it just spectacular. Freaks your mind, yet heart felt too and funny with Fifi and Mateo (or Angel) when they do their skits. Glad he was feeling better and was in the shows that night. They always make me laugh all the time! I have recommended it to others and will definately be back for the shows in December. Watching Criss Angel never gets old!

His show was simply amazing! He is just incredible. The show is not for young children.

On 11/3/17 eight of us were excited to go to see the Mindfreak Criss Angel Show.We have watched his shows and specials on TV and thought he was amazing.We were disappointed and thought the show was unprofessional and kept waiting throughout the show for something amazing to happen,which never did.This will be the only time we will go to see his shows.

We are big fans of Criss Angel and we enjoyed his show. However, we got less than expected. Most of his tricks were mainstream-disappear here, appear over there. Make a motorcycle appear. Poorly timed saw girl in half. Personally I had expected to see more of the swallowing razor blades type of tricks. Also, the venue made poor use of the side screen for people sitting far away. We had a great time, but for such a mind blowing magician we didn't leave the theatre in a jaw dropped state of awe.

Best show around, he is amazing, if you have never gone you gotta go see him.

Criss certainly knows how to build up his appearance on stage - makes it more exciting when he finally reveals himself. The show is very fast-paced, and things are over before you know it, so there is a lot of magic in the show. Mesmerizing pyro and lighting, and more dancing than you'd expect - even from Criss. Music is exciting and adds suspense. Just by these things alone it gets an A+. Very funny show as well. He performed 2 world records he holds, including escaping a strightjacket upside down in 30 seconds. He did some slight of hand in the audience, invited some audience members on stage for a few tricks, and did some classic Criss Angel illusions - including a levitation. There was a piece in the show about pediatric cancer, and it slowly but surely brought me to tears. Worth it just for that performance. The show ended in a spectacular and fulfilling way, and overall this is an easy 5 stars.

This was a gift to my fiance for his birthday. He has been wanting to see one of Chris Angel's show for years, but never got the chance this year i took it upon myself to make it happen for him and i did and it was a memorable experience for the both of us.

Show was less than 90 minutes. Half of the show was filler that didn t go with the show.

I remember seeing Criss Angel on TV and was always blown away at the tricks he did. His levitation feats were out of this world. I have never seen anyone else do what he did. I decided to take my wife and daughter to see him live, since we never had the opportunity to see his show. Both my wife and daughter also remember how great he was. After seeing his show at Foxwoods, we were all very disappointed. All of his acts seemed very cookie cutter, meaning that we have seen many magicians do similar things. We thought we would be really blown-away by his show, but this did not happen. I really thought he would do his levitation feats that he used to do in the past, but nothing! Another interesting thing happened when talking to some people that saw his show in Vegas and they mentioned that they were not impressed with his act. They too remember how great Criss was many years ago. It is too bad that his show fell flat, but we will always remember the old Criss Angel.

Chiss Angel's show was spectacular at Foxwoods Resort Casino. We haven't seen him since the Luxor Casino in 2010 in Las Vegas and he keeps getting better. Highly recommend his shows. Foxwoods was gorgeous as usual.

I brought my daughter & best friend to see CHRIS ANGEL. It was breath taking with humor and suspense. Would I go see CHRIS ANGEL AGAIN? MOST DEFINITELY AGAIN AND AGAIN!! Chris Angel is astonshing !!!!❤️

This is a really crazy and unique show, it let you see that sometimes you don´t need a proof to know that is real and possible, I really enjoyed the show in the point that I want to return back and see it again, and the next time I hope to take a photo with Criss. I Love it !!!

If you get there early, he shows a short video introducing himself to the audience. The music and lights were a bit too loud/bright. He's a good new sort of entertainer when it comes to magicians/illusionists. He had some great stunts. Enjoyed the show!

It's a must see show when you're in Vegas! The show has everything: tricks that blow your mind, jokes and Criss makes sure his crowd participates in the show. I saw it multiple times and I never got bored. Just buy tickets, get comfortable and Criss Angel and his team will give you an amazing time.

Very fun show. Definitely dropped my jaw in amazement and wonder at how Criss does exactly what he does. Great show for Criss Angel fans or any magic lover.

Criss puts on a wonderful show! I was entertained the entire time. Would recommend to anyone coming in for a good time. The managers are beyond friendly and accommodating!

I was so excited to see this show! This show was too much theater and not enough illusions. There was a crazy little side show that went on through out the performance that was annoying. This show was not worth the hype, at all. The high points were the couple of times when Chris did come out into the audience and the doves (that is all I will say, don't want to give too much away). It was nice to see the home photos and video footage of Chris. It felt like the few people who got called on stage from the audience were plants, just didn't feel genuine. The illusions that were done were good, but not mind blowing. I have seen a lot of footage of Chris levitating on the streets in front of people, but on stage it didn't have the wow factor I was looking for. I walked out feeling kind of empty. The audience didn't seem that into the show the night I went either. While I am sure that factors into how the show goes, even if the audience was totally into it, I don't think it would have been enough to save it for me.Too bad, I know Chris has a lot of talent, but this show falls short of what I think he is capable of.

The mindfreak experience begins as you walk down the hall into the show. Listen carefully for a message from Criss. We got drinks and snacks. Every seat in the house is great because Criss takes the show out to the audience. The show is very entertaining and suspenseful. You will spend the rest of the evening wondering how he did his illusions. I would highly recommend this show to anyone.

This show was amazing! It was up close and awesome! I would love to see it again.

The whole show was just under 90 minutes, half of it was videos you can see on u tube. The illusions were cool. We were in the front and he did a coin trick right next to me that was also kool. The jerry Lewis was also in the crowd. That was a treat too. Copperfields show is a much. Better value

Bad show, Cris auto suficient and rude, show deception

Very well done show! Super exiting and thrilling with amazing feats, great music and special effects. Very realistic and a little creepy! I was touched by his tribute to children fighting cancer.

Very odd side show throughout the show and in between that was NOT funny at all. Very confusing and not fitting at all for Chris Angel! Awkward also about whole segment on childhood cancer. I am compassionate and give to many organizations and I feel for Chris and his son, but just not appropriate in the show!

I wanted to see magic after paying $60 a ticket I ended up seeing child like tricks & a slide show of his early days with his mom. I've seen Copperfield many times when he was popular and his shows blew me away, I guess I shouldn't have held Angel to the same standard.

Most of the time was dirty jokes and acts not suitable for anyone under 16 . Magic was ok but nothing like u see on tv show. Won't recommend to anyone especially $100 plus for each ticket no where near the stage.

Criss was very entertaining and there was audience participation opportunities. Some of the magic was truly amazing. There was sometimes quite a bit of filler comedy and jokes and such some of which was not child friendly. Some of the magic was just so-so like when he sawed the girl in half and then the curtain just closed rather than having the two audience members who were chosen to verify the girl was real before the trick go and verify she was still real.

He is an amazing illusionist/magician but the road show venue did not allow for a good performance. I would watch him on tv or catch him in Vegas. I felt the ticket prices were extreme for this level of a performance.

Use to watch his show all the time, wasnt impressed with his stage act considering trap doors were visible during some of his illusions. Street magic was always his strong suit.

If you're looking for some laughs, and a lot of talking in between a few old outdated Magic tricks this IS the show for you! On mind freak criss angel comes across as dark, mysterious, with awesome tricks! In his live show he comes off as a comedian. I kept waiting or a magic trick that I would be blown away by and it just never happened. I agree with all the other 1 and 2 star ratings!!

I thought there was too much sexual inuendo .....not appropriate for younger kids. ......seats,were a bit too expensive for the amount of time there was actual magic being done. Tricks were great but nothing new there all in all I was not that impressed

The show mixed great magic with wonderful stories and a great touch of comedy. Criss Angel never disappoints. The only negative was not getting a voucher after the show. They ran out.

Awesome show Chris is definitely the best. That said, for the price I would have rather seen more illusions and heard less talk.

Chris spent too much time on how great he is and running around with the older couple that was too cheesy. They belong back in vaudville.' Suggest to him that he appeal to a more hip audience.

Very unprofessional attitude. I always watch him on television, so maybe my expectations were too high. For this show at Shea's, we sat in the balcony (up high). We could see that EVERYTHING was fake. Of course, there is obviously no "real" magician, but I guess I was hoping to be fooled, especially at $91.00 a ticket. I wanted to see him do his tricks (like I don't know... maybe walk on water, or levitate), not be a narrator for his show. He basically told us what the trick was and then the ladies performed it. He liked to make things appear and disappear behind a curtain. From my point of view, I could see above the curtain (almost every single time). The big finale was making women appear in "solid cubes" from feet away. So the curtain was held up, the women went through the trap door (under the stage) and climbed into the "solid" cubes through the floor- which was a rug that had a slit through the middle. I was VERY disappointed and I will never waste money on any of his shows or products again. Now everyone knows why videotaping and pictures will get you removed from the show- so you don't catch anything fake! He also threw T-shirts and wristbands to the crowd and if he didn't like who caught it- he made them throw it to the next person. I'd be so upset if I was the lucky one who caught something and then I had to pass it to someone else, no thank you. (A foreign man caught the first T-shirt, only to have his name and English made fun of). DISAPPOINTING-Shame on you!!!

An expensive \u2018cheap magic show. I would have been more entertained by a birthday party magician. The most amazing things he did on his series \u2018Mindfreak were nowhere to be found. For example, the ONE thing he could have done was levitation. It was all my daughters could talk about on the way there and it was a no-show. The \u2018sawing in half of one of the assistants never saw her put back together again. The close-up one-on-one illusions were difficult to follow in a larger venue and had to captured by an assistant with a camera and then projected on a small screen. ??? Criss two sidekicks were probably the most entertaining, but took up about 30 minutes of a 90 minute performance. I did NOT pay to see THEM. It almost appears that Mr. Angel has fallen on hard times and failed miserably in putting a show together that could blow you away.

Kinda disappointed in the show, I actually seen him do a mask and cape switch from where I was sitting. Over priced seating, and way to much story telling of his life as a kid. Thought I was going to see the stunts that I seen on his television show. Oh well, I guess that's why it's not real! lol

I feel really bad for writing this but the show was horrible. There were stupid crude jokes not suitable for children.... It almost seemed like we were at a comedy show versus a magic show. We were four rows from the stage and could see everything clearly and everything was fake. All he did was advertise his Vegas show and play video clips of his TV show that I've already seen. It was boring because he talked about his life more than he did magic. After we walked out I felt really cheated for spending so much money to go see him and it was horrible. Please please please do not spend money to go see Criss Angel . He is horrible.

I was very disappointed with the show. I did see Siegfried and Roy and David copperfield. He did too much talking and not enough entertainment with magic. His magic is also the same magic that beginners use. I thought is was only me that was dissapointed but so were others. with the hype that I watched on TV that he showed I thought it would be a mind freak but it was not.

there were a few neat tricks, but not worth the $80 i spent on my ticket. there were a lot of videos and hype throughout the show reminding you how "great" criss angel is which was pretty lame.

Very few illusions, and NOTHING like his television shows. Same disappearing trick done in different ways. I hate to say it but I was bored. Saw David Copperfield a long time ago and that was 100 times more impressive. Save your money!!!!

Nothing spectacular but solid magic show. The "shills" in the audience were a little obvious. Entertaining evening but have enjoyed Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Penn and Teller more

It was cool seeing Criss Angel and trying to figure out how he does his tricks. Could have done without the slap stick comedy and show has language and suggestive behavior not suitable for children. Overall, it was a good show.

The show wasn't bad- it just wasn't very good. There was a fair amount of 'schtick', crude jokes not appropriate for families, and way too much self promotion and in show advertising. Neat to see in person but a let down in terms of integrity.

For the money expected more from such an incredible artist. Performance was short and did not contain all the spectacular tricks expected. Other parts of the show took away from his awesomeness.
