This was an awesome event. Tamela Mann is a true woman of God. It was an honor to get to see her in person. Alexis Speight who came out before Tamela was awesome as well. The presence of the Lord was in that place. I know there had to be some healings taking place because of the presence of the Lord in the building. God Bless who ever set up the event. Tamela Mann is extremely talented and blessed! There wasn't a dry eye in the building! Her music touched us all. Her husband David, aka "Mr. Brown" was hilarious. Just out of concert. Absolutely outstanding. The Mann kids kicked things off on time and without a hitch. They really got Miami crowd in the right mood. Then Papa Mann had people rolling with some good clean comedy with a faith twist. Tamela shut the place down. I mean one truly anointed sister with a voice from on high. Sound acoustics in James l knight center were awesome. I love the part where Tamela gets close and personal with her audience. The Holy Spirit came right up in that place. A must see and hear as long as the good lord continues to bless us with this families wonderful testimony and gift of love for the lord. Don't let it be a I wish I had moment. A spirit changing in experience. Amen Jesus

The microphones were less than professional. If it wasnt for the fact that Tamela has such a big powerful voice it woud have been disasterous. It didnt go that well for those that opened for her because of the microphones. They popped in and out continually.

I really enjoyed this gospel concert! It is rare to get real good gospel performances from current artists in Indianapolis. You generally have to go to church and listen to your local choir. Clowes Hall was pretty packed for this Mother's Day event, showing that there is definitely a market for this kind of music in this city. If you're a true fan of gospel music then you know that gospel singers can really sing. These ladies did not disappoint! They sounded as good as their CD's, maybe even better. The only reason for the 4 stars is the venue itself. The seats are small and I was definitely squished in between some folks who might have to buy an extra seat on an airplane if you know what I mean. Also, the sound quality wasn't that great. At times the instruments were coming across louder than the performers, and the microphone sounded a bit muffled. If it were not for the singing talent of these ladies, it might have been a lot harder to make out what they were saying/singing. Overall, still a great experience that I was glad to witness and be a part of.

The concert was very well put together! The local groups were really good ESPECIALLY Joshua Rogers! I'm not sure what was more heart warming, Tamela's souful and heartfelt songs of praise to our great God or seeing love in action as we saw the interaction the Manns have with each other! I thought the show was outstanding, a perfect way to spend a Saturday evening with my Mother. Dare to Believe, (DTB), got the Holy Ghost party started, they were great. They got the old and the young folks on their feet. The dancers in white were beautiful, lovely angel wings. Then there were the ladies in black, great performance, they kept the vibe that DTB started going. Then there was Tamela, the lovely Tamela Mann, she did an outstanding job vocally, she kept the audience engaged the whole time. And WOW, what a show, she performed for about an hour. I will go see her every time she is in town. Her and David are such an inspiration.

Both Vashawn Mitchell and Tamela Mann tore up the stage. Each of them gave a great and unforgettable performance. However, and the microphone kept going out during Vashawn's performance in which you could tell he and his background singers were annoyed, this I believe was an error made by the J.L. Knight Center. Yet, even with the technical difficulties during his performance he and his team still managed to do an amazing job. Now well what can I say about mrs. Mann besides GREAT, REFRESHING, FUN, and JESUS FILLED. Finally and again this was an error cause my the J.L. Knight Center the fact that everyone sitting in floor seats were very uncomfortable was a problem, our seats were so close until we were basically sitting on top of each other. We shouldn't have to pay that type of money for a ticket to have to crawl over the next person just to get out of our seats. GET IT TOGETHER!

All of the artists were awesome in their presentation of their music. They didn't just sing to the audience, they ministered to themselves and the audience. I do wish they had been given more time individually to perform. I feel they would have had more time if there had not been so much time used for non musical presentations. I feel that could have been displayed in the foyer with the other vendors, leaving more time for what we came there for... the music.

I was feeling down and wasn't going to attend the event. Something inside said "just go." I am so happy I changed my mind, I would have missed my blessing. The presence if God was truly in the place! I felt like I was in Sunday morning worship service and got my praise on. From beginning to end everyone just ushered in the spirit if God.
