What's wrong with with you people?! More than half the crowd left as legendary Cypress Hill performed on Wednesday 4/20. They rocked it as usual and a lot of y'all missed the f out. Over all great concert though! Berner an Juicy J tore it up.

Steely Dan

A perfect night in Missoula. The sky was overcast and dark and there was a little bit o f some that cool summer shower action in the area before hand. But Donald and God are mildly connected and the audience was just too refined so we all stayed high and dry. Steely definitely kept pace with the Doobie Bro's at the this show. The 3 guitar flavors and the sax'man from the Doob's were phenomenal. Both Steely and the DBs added in plenty of room for some very tasty long winded Sax and Horn rallies deep in the many of their already super pro played songs. Just gotta go to hear it man you know words can't describe that old school 70's vibe. Mr. Bumpus and Mr. Becker would have strongly approved. Donald spoke like we we're his welcome friends... he made mention of the local scenery which .. how can you beat Big Sky Clark Fork river country. Don't you love it. The 1st band The Doob's totally rocked in their natural outdoor sunny southern Cali setting. Jesus is Alright & China Grove. You know I what you don't hear** is most of the battle. I'm a 1/2 ass audiophile and Friends OMG this was sonically surreal .every nuance was bright the low end was solid. None not a drop of that dam indoor concrete reverb. The sound boards and mike up's were like the studio quality sound we all expect of these two perfect'aholic bands. Kudos to the mixing engineer and road chief and his grips 4a Kid Charlemagne kitchen clean outdoor show you guys DF give'm a RAISE . Mr. Washington on bass take another bow. Mr Joe Herrington and Larry Carlton carry the mail as sweet'n pure as Jeff skunk Baxter & Becker. The Guitar was in full duel with D.F. Fender Rhodes... the had a lot of fun together. The audience was fine collect of polished old schoolers who weren't going back but had a GREAT TIME REELING IN THE YEARS.. oh and that Girl from Seattle that got my # thanks babe that made my night 7167. Come on! Oh we even had a verified sighting of a smiling Mr. Huey Lewis out front in the mix tent for the Doobies then he piled off backstage. Donald was so funny he's minding his P's n Q's because of the recent nutty internet utubes scolding over some silly thang.. he laughed off! Like a true genius should : ) Nice to know he still reads his reviews thought. Well worth the money.. solo . .. with friends or with your honey. PEACE OUT. Dismissed! Go see the show ! No REALLY Go see them this could be it..? Thanks for reading my review. The Smudge..report

The Shins

It will change your life, I swear. First in line and fast pass in hand. Greeted by doorman who is more than accommodating. Like he was seriously cool. So first time at this venue and off to an amazing start. He even gave us a promotional type flyer for the show. Keepsakes are always good! Got in and dead center on the rail. (Note to self: if you want pics without the microphone in the face, take the spot a few steps to the right or left.;} Amazing looking venue and I need to go back to take more time to admire all the amazing architecture and things like the great posters of shows past lining the walls. Sound was great, as were lights. Always different in front when getting stage sound, not sure about other advantage points. We rocked hard though. The Shins... on their game right now for sure. 2nd time seeing them and both this year. James was clearly having a lot more fun tonight and it was great to catch some of those happy expressions. The band was solid. Mark Watrous was stellar and on point. I love staring right at and singing backup with Casey Foubert... his stage presence is magnetic. Everyone was just on. I ll be seeing them every chance I get. Just one request?? Play Heartworms! It s your title track and time to bust it out this tour!

A John Waters Christmas

A John Waters Christmas, like John Waters himself, manages to be subversive and lovable at the same time. There are lots of laughs and absurdities to enjoy! The show provides a welcomed break from all the stress and rush of the Christmas season. For the duration of the show me and my family just sat back and had a good time. Those of us with premium tickets were invited on stage to meet John Waters after the show and he spent quite a lot of time with each fan. On the whole, the performance was an early Christmas gift!

Just watching Jason and Kevin together was heartwarming. The banter back and forth was heartwarming and hilarious. I could sit and watch those two read the phone book.

Donell Jones

This was the first time that my sister and I have seen Donell Jones in concert (as well as going to anything at this venue) and since one of his songs, Knocks Me Off My Feet, is one of my favorite songs, I couldn't miss this show since the venue was not far from my home. It was said that this show had sold out, so I'm glad we had tickets at Will Call! When we went inside, the DJ said that Donell had not been here in Vegas since 1999, and I was blown away by that, so I was very glad that I decided to attend this show. The show started after Midnight, and it was said that it would start at midnight, and since he came out a few minutes after Midnight, I felt that it started on time, compared to all the other Midnight shows that I've been to that have always started an hour after midnight. Donell rocked it hard and went through all of his hits, as the audience sung along. He took us back to the mid-1990's when he had a lot of his hits, and there were some songs that he sung that I forgot about. But I have to also throw in the fact that this man has the nicest style! Check out the pics! I love it! Definitely one of the best dressed in the business, I think. But back to the show, LOL, I just went nuts when he sung Knocks Me Off My Feet...but he didn't sing the whole song, that's the only thing that I didn't like. Also, he surprised me as well as a lot of others with In The Hood because I completely forgot about that song so it was nice to hear it after all this time. But overall, it was a great show, and I really hope he doesn't take that long to come back here because I will definitely go see him again.
