Both warmups were funny as all get out and then Marlon comes out who was a pleasure just to see, but hysterical as well! We laughed throughout the entire show and would highly recommend it to anyone, well except small children and pets!

Marlon is absolutely hillarious. The show was funny from start to finish. I took my husband for our wedding anniversary and when I looked over my husband had tears in his eyes from laughing so hard. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there were a few hecklers that were disrupting the show and the venue didn't do a good job of getting them to shut up. Other than that Marlon is definitively worth seeing.

Marlon Wayans, was TRULY a joy to watch perform on stage. I have not seen physical comedy performed that GOOD since Jim Carrey, HE is by far one of the most versatile comedians in the GAME. TRULY underrated. I would pay to see HIM perform whenever HE plays THE BAY AREA. In hip hop words "DOPE INDIVIDUAL" TRUE BLESSING!

I was expecting more maturity from Marlon as a standup. Yea, he has acted in cheesy movies, but I figured he had more depth and dynamism to his personality. Assumption was completely wrong. His timing was off. His commentary on current events was not intelligent or insightful. His jokes, were, well lame.

Marlon was incredible! He is an exceptional storyteller embellishing his stories with funny facial expressions and rather graphic physicality. He's so much more than a standup comic. He's an outstanding comedic actor and that's what comes through loud and clear in his performance. Most comics can't come close to what Marlon does on a stage. Right before our eyes he transformed himself into a character with his body language, facial expressions and gift of impersonation - he became the character in his story! If you get the opportunity to see this comic genius live GO! You'll be laughing days later whenever you think about the show.

The show was great, all the comics where gut busting funny. The only gripe I have is that it took us over a hour to get in and they only had two people doing check in. They did slow the show down to accommodate they people still waiting to get in. Really good show though.

The comedy show was great. Capone was the funniest of them all. I love Marlon Wayans. Great show.

We saw Marlon Wayans at the Wilbur on Friday night - he was a hilarious! This was a great way to end the week. Wayans was born to do stand-up and kept the audience wondering how he could be any funnier as the night went on - some how he kept us laughing more and more! Very entertaining - would definitely see Wayans again the next time he comes to Boston!

He was phenomenal excellent as always very talented n when he comes back ill be right there hopefully I can see him with his brothers that would be awesome!!!!

Opening act Wil Sylvince was hilarious. Joked about first class flying and got the audience involved with his act. Marlon came out after a brief wait and did not disappoint. Had a long bit about Jay-Z and Beyonce, a bit about drinking with white friends (like Channing Tatum in Mexico), and of course a bit about sex. First time seeing Marlon's stand-up and very glad he came to Boston!

Great show. Seating was horrible! Marlon was hilarious.

His opening act was funny as hell and Marlon did not disappoint but the reason i couldnt give five stars was because the security did not do their job. There was a whole row of people who not only came in really late but were be loud and breaking all the house rules. They said if you take pictures talk loudly or record they were going to kick you out. They did not do any of that it was so bad my whole section missed so much of what Marlon was saying because they were loud and talking over him.

Although entry into the event was very unorganized (MGM must do better), Marlon Wayans did not disappoint! His material is relevant and even deeply personal, his comic genius is evident in every segment! Keep making us laugh out loud Marlon!

Overall Marlon s show was good for his first standup, but we didn t get seated until 1.5 hours after the show was supposed to start and they didn t even apologize for the late start.

I've been a fan since In Living Color but I was NOT ready for his stand-up performance. Dude is seriously funny. Can't believe this is his first special. Good job!

Great show. Funny MGM still has to work out some sound quality issues but the show was good - One Complsint show didn t start on time and ran into the other show time \u2014 felt like my show was cut short. Some jokes could have been shorten but show seems like it ended abruptly... great show tho

I will make sure to see him whenever he's in town. You ever laugh so hard that you get a headache then stop laughing so your head won't burst open? Well that's what the show was like. I needed it!

Marlon had a great theme to his show: one of love and inclusivity. Of course he has some outrageous lines, but every comedian has to get in a few. I enjoyed myself a BUNCH, had great seats, and loved that he has a message to his show, not just random jokes!

With the exception of a few political jabs at our country, and some off the wall jokes(should not have made it to the final cut), Marlon was pretty awesome. The energy he brings to the stage and his entrance(My favorite part of any music artist or comedian) was awesome. The show could have been about 20 minutes shorter though.

Marlon is a complete fool, I ve seen him before and I m a fan. Always a good time!

Marian was on point with his show as usual. Jokes were funny, and animated as well as timely. Recommendation for improvement on the venue side (MGM Grand Casino) to organize the waiting area process better when there are multiple shows in the same night.

Venue was beautiful and well appointed. Show was GREAT!! Timing was waaay off!! First show didn't let out until it was time for the second show to start. Second show started 90 minutes late and ran until nearly 1am. TOO LATE!!

I have loved Marlon Wayans since I first saw him on the Wayans Brothers TV show when I was a kid. When I found out about this show, I knew I had to go for sure. I went with my mom and had a great time laughing so much. I don't get why Marlon doesn't think he's attractive though, he's always been my favorite of the Wayans family.

It's definitely a night to remember, I have to go next time he's in town again.

Totally worth more than they charged! I hope his other brother comes to Philadelphia too! Bring him back he was awesome.

I have always watch Marlon in television shows and movies and he has always been great and my favorite Wayan. I didn't know that he did stand up and being one of his biggest fans I just had to go see what he would be joking about. Well, HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Marlon was hilarious and he gave his all to his set. He was such a hit here in Philadelphia, (Philly) that all his shows sold out and he graciously added another show for his fans. I am so happy that I went to see him and had the opportunity to meet him after the show. He was a cool down to earth brother and I will forever support his endeavors. I cannot wait for his show this Fall as well as his upcoming movie coming out on Netflix in August. I'm a fan for life:)

I have been to many comedy shows, this was a weird one. Now it could have been different but there were several hecklers in the crowd. Although Marlon did a good job with handling them, he came out 10 minutes late to the stage the opening act was guy was looking ackward waiting for Marlon to come onstage......we were all waiting.....and waiting. Finally he did come out the show started with him talking about rap songs for like 20 minutes and some of the show was well let me say this I am glad his movie career has been successful and he has new shows coming out on netflix. I think he is a much better actor then being a stage comedian.

I surprised my fiance and took him to see Marlon Wayans on his birthday. This was our first time seeing him and we were so pleased with his performance as well as how personal and easy to relate with the audience. I would definitely pay to see him again.

As expected, Marlon Wayans had the audience in stitches. His niece opened up for him & was just as funny as he is. I love that he came to my small town & performed as if he were in Chicago. When the show ended he took countless pics w/the audience and was very down to earth.

I bought these tickets for our anniversary gift to my husband-- HUGE Wayans Brothers fan. The seats were great! The venue was perfect! We will definitely pay to see him again.

Didn't like the way the show started out. They had a spoken word poetry performer who was very abrupt and not very funny. A woman beside me said he was kind of spoiling the mood. There were a couple of flaws with the order of the show's performers, but the show's host Red Grant managed to keep the audience engaged throughout all of the mishaps. All of the performers did well, but I'm most impressed with the show's newcomer Lawrence Davis who was from Baltimore. Red Grant knows how to keep the audience on their feet. I've seen him work with Katt Williams before. He's very energetic and interactive with his comedy. I would literally pay to see any show he hosts. Having never been to the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall before I was very impressed by the comfortable box seating, the beautiful restrooms, and the great concession stand. Where I was able to purchase the best tasting chocolate mousse cake I've ever had! Being a hugh Marlon Wayans fan originally I purchased a ticket to see him, but was pleasantly surprised at the rest of the comedians including DeRay Davis and Lil Duval. Overall I would say although there may have not been a lot of bells and whistles they still put on a really good show.

Marlon was so good! He shouldn't have waited so long to perform stand-up. He's that good. His niece was great as well. Would go see him more than once. Laughed so hard. Classic Marlon Wayans!

If you're a Marlon Wayans fan you will love this stand up. Everything you'd expect from him in a good way. He was very animated, even jumped off the stage and all over a lady. He didn't really call people out, I hate when comedians do that. His nephew (niece) Chaunté opened for him and she did a great job too. Both very funny!

A drink and a good laugh made a goodnight. Marlon was great!

The Chevalier in Medford is a great venue for stand-up shows. Its a medium sized auditorium that looks like it used to be a Boys and Girls Club. It could use some updating, but the seats are comfortable and give plenty of room for a 6'2" tall person. I would definitely see another show here as parking is plentiful (and free after 6pm) and there are great places to eat nearby. Marlon Wayans was truly hilarious. I would recommend his stand up to everyone.

The theatre was an old high school auditorium. The seats weren t bad. I had a good time. Marlon had great jokes. He was engaging with the audience and freeestyled a lot of his jokes. He even stayed after and shook hands. Great guy

I took my friend to come and see him with me and from start to finish we could not stop laughing we had a great time.

He was actually a little late, but no biggie, another comedian was doing the show before him, so, it wasn't a problem, he looked a little tired too at the beginning, BUT, within like 2 minutes in the show, he started being really funny, he has a great stage presence, and, it was really enjoyable to watch him perform, would highly recommend you to go.

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves at the Laughfest 2018. We laughed the whole night. THe venue was also very nice.

Marlon Wayans was awful. JB Smoove funny as hell after he finally gets into his set.

I was so disappointed in this show. It wasn t funny and when Marlin Wayans got on people started leaving it he was embarrassing and discussing. And we had a lady behind us laughing hard at nothing that disturbed the whole section. Not a good night.

We had a extremely awesome time the show was great and the venue is well seated we did have floor seats but the entire venue seem to have a wonderful view and Marlon was candid real and funny as ever!!!

Show started 1 1/2 hours late at 11pm. Marlon was wayyyy funnier then when I saw him in Syracuse 2years ago. But please don t try and make me stay after you were already late starting to get me to retake your intro for your Netflix live.

Had a great time. Marlon was funny and very entertaining. However, some of his material was XXX rated but the way he delivered these skits were not only halarious but amazing. I would definitely see his show again if he comes to this area. Also, like the fact that he interacted with the audience by offering to take selfies.

Marlon is SO very talented. Was extremely funny and did 2 solid hours of stand-up. Was excited to be part of this live Netflix taping. Could not have asked for more.

This was my first time seeing Marlon Wayans stand up. He did a wonderful job of bringing social issues to the forefront while making light of them at the same time. This was my first time visiting MGM Theater, Oxon Hill, MD as well, and love the venue. Would recommend this place and the entire National Harbor! Just beautiful!

First off let me say what an honor it was to see someone who I grew up watching on tv. Second, this man was stupid funny. I mean he could just go off the top of the dome like it was nothing. Truly, pure and raw talent that you just can't practice. I can't wait until he comes back to the Philadelphia area. He was so funny, we sat in the front, next to the stage and not once did he make up a joke about the way someone looked. Why? Because a real comedian has real jokes! Marlon for the win!!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't know he had a stand up routine. It was just something to do. But I am glad I went. The venue was also nice.

It's obvious Marlon is talented and comes from a talented family. However at this point in his career I would expect a bit more maturity and depth in his content and not have to rely on cheap sex jokes and the "n" word used every 10 seconds! Although his message attempted to lean toward inclusion of all people and types such as gays, the intensity of the harsh and constant gay jokes made an uncomfortable and tense feeling for the gay fans in the audience. Come on Marlon you can do better! You can be funny without all the filth.

I would definitely recommend Marlon Wayans show he was hilarious and he was on stage for two hrs and he kept everyone entertained the entire time.

This show was blah! John Witherspoon was played out and Michael Blaxson was just plain terrible--- nothing new in 20 years since Friday. They both were riding that Friday thing hard--- I was a teenager back then and my taste has evolved past darkie jokes and bang, bang, bang! So weak!!! Deeray was not even there and nobody including the MC Rickey Smiley acknowledged or apologized for that. By the way Rickey Smiley is played out as well! The one and only comedian that tried to be relevant to today's events was Marlon. He's was very funny and insightful, however I did not pay that amount of money for one good comedian. So hence the 2 stars. Also, has nothing to do with comedians, but the venue was terrible in Phoenix- Comerica Theater. They tried to give us fold up chairs even though we paid full price, did not notify people that Deeray was not going to perform and the spotlight controller just could not seem to keep up with the movements of the comedians, they were in out of darkness all night. Overall I expect better customer service and performances for my money. I was suppose to see Chris Rock there but I am requesting a refund right after I post this review! Peace!

Purchased tickets with the hopes of laughing until my entire body ached. Most of the acts used recycled material. Nothing was new or original. Rickey Smiley wasn't even a headliner, he was actually the m.c. or in other words the "hype man". He left before the show ended, and didn't even thank his supporters for coming out to support him. Not worth the money. Would rather see Rickey Smiley as a headliner doing actual stand up.
