Bellowhead
Bellowhead is an 11-piece band that specializes in playing traditional English music, rearranged with a contemporary twist. With a range of influences spanning sea shanties, folk songs and dance pieces, the band uses a combination of traditional instruments such as fiddles and the tuba alongside modern-day ones such as drum kits and bass guitars. The material performed by the band relies on the 11 band members swapping instruments many times during a gig, with over 20 instruments used between all members. The band members are all highly respected instrumentalists in their own right, with numerous credits earned on other folk or traditional projects alongside their work with the Bellowhead collective.

Really great show. Edo G. opening, stays killin it. They played the best of The Bake Sale and still covered their bases by playing a few new songs for WFRB. Great show, took too long to start. Otherwise perfect.

Roots rock, psche-pop extraordinaire(s)! Jam band geniuses. Remembering and reminding of everything from The Grateful Dead to Modest Mouse, Robert Pollard to Anton Newcombe, Graham Nash to Kevin Parker! Love 'um and would see them again in a heartbeat.

Was made to wait outside until well after 10:00pm before they opened the doors for this event; despite the fact that the show was scheduled for 8:00pm. Enough said - we finally walked away at 10:20pm with the doors still not open for the public to enter, but you were able to look through the window and see the band "practicing/setting up" or whatever the heck they were doing. #thumbsdown

Another great Lighthouse performance. Absolutely incredible musicians that have only perfected their skills over 40 years! Every kid who takes music lessons should have a chance to hear them play to appreciate how it's done.
