CMT Music Awards

Putting the regional weather of 98* full-on sun aside, CMA Festival is a lot of fun. Pop-Up shows, fan club parties, meeting artists that you never knew you wanted to meet, and lots that you've been dying to meet. We felt safe, walked everywhere, heard LOTS of music, ate good food, met lots of fans, and died of the heat, but we'd do it again in an instant.

Where else can one go to see the best of the best in country music?!! Show amazing, sets phenomenal.. Everyone needs to come to Nashville!

This is a bucket list must. It was truly amazing. We are already planning next years trip to see it again. Love love love Nashville and country music.

What a great way to kick off CMA Music Fest! I read the reviews complaining about mosh...just don't buy Mosh if you don't want to stand the entire time! I was sitting in the upper deck and it was awesome!!!

Event was great. However, I bought seats with a section, row and seat numbers. But when I picked up my tickets, they were stand up floor tickets (MOSH). I had no idea what MOSH meant. I do now and will never do it again.....

While CMA Fest is AWESOME (I can't wait to do it again!!) this was the worst thing I have ever been to and will never go back. I have been to the Bridgestone many times, but this was the worst. There was no organization to get your Mosh wristband to get on the floor. I have been in mosh pits many times but this was insane! Even though we had gotten in line at 10am to get in the venue, once inside, it took over 45 minutes to get the wristband. Outrageous. They over-sold the floor by a lot, there easily were 5,000 people cramped on the little floor of the arena. The whole thing seems hoaxy to me, these aren't "real" awards such as the CMAs or ACMs. It is just another way for CMT to make money.

I enjoyed this event, however, I was disappointed that 3 of the acts (artists), Jason Aldean, Hunter Hayes and Luke Bryan....their performances were OUTSIDE the arena. I bought/paid for tickets to get in the the event and half the show (yes, I'm exaggerating, but...) was going on outside the arena for all those not even holding a ticket/paying the price to see the show. That's the way in which I was disappointed in the awards show.

I had previously purchased tickets when they first went on sale and was only able to get nosebleed. I went ahead and bought them because I wanted to attend. Two days before the event, they released many more tickets and I was able to get mosh pit tickets. I was so glad that I was able to get better seats. The awards was AWESOME and I plan to attend every year that I am able. It is an experience. I thought it was cool to see everything that is not aired on tv. I would definitely recommend anyone to try and attend this event. Its a night to remember.

Love the CMT Awards Show and all the excitement. The best part of the show was Carrie Underwood singing See You Again dedicated to Oklahoma victims with the choir. She is always the best part of the show. She is an incredible singer and entertainer!!!

I enjoyed every moment! I will never look at award shows the same again. All the effort that you dont see. It was even better to have the chance to shout for my favorites from the audience! Incredible moment!

The set up of the stage was not condusive to view of performers on stage and the accousticss were absolutely terrible. Most of the time, you could not hear the dialogue and couldn't find where they were on stage. Performances may have been good, but who would know from the accoustics. Extremely disappointing!!!!!

The event was great! The organization at entry of gates was awful. No lines were formed and lots of pushing into the few doors that were open. Once inside, we had to get bracelets to floor seating. Again no line, pushing, yelling, and 4 people applying bracelets!!!

The show itself was great. During the TV intermission breaks there was no music to listen to or videos to watch, cusing dead spaces in the show.

So many people in the mosh section, but where we stood it was excellent. I advise anyone that has mosh seating to get there super early!

Show was good Should of been more awards. Seating was lousy, the stage was real small and hard to see. Hosts were kinda boring

THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER "AWARDS SHOW". IT WAS A VERY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE. THERE WERE COMMERCIALS AND PROMPTERS AND MULTIPLE STAGE CHANGES. I HAD NEVER ATTENDED ANYTHING LIKE IT, AND I LOVED IT. I GOT TO SEE MANY OF MY FAVORITES ALL IN ONE PLACE. THE PERFORMANCES WERE ALL AMAZING. JUST BEING ABLE TO SIT ACROSS FROM SOME OF MY FAVORITE PERFORMERS WAS ALMOST SURREAL. I CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR'S SHOW, I WILL BE THERE.

Had a real good time, it was my first award show..

Our seats were aweful but that's my fault--the entertainment was fantastic but a little hokey at times bc it was made for live TV. The best part was deciding to leave ahead of the crowd and we stumbled upon Jason Aldean on outside stage playing, "Night Train!" And then he set off fireworks! So surreal!! Fantastic city-Nashville! Friendliest people!! Coming back every year!

This was the first awards show I have been to and the show was amazing. The only downfall was with being in the MOSH Pit we needed wristbands and this part was very unorganized. We had wall to wall people trying to get wristbands from 1 person. After that the rest went wonderful! My spot was really close to the stage. i was actually between 2 stages!

Awesome! We loved it.great quality music and very entertaining.

The whole evening was exciting and fun. The hosts did a great job and had a good flow.

Host stunk- some acts were weak- will not do again because we paid money and people who got in free had better view(not fair in my opionion)

Great show this year! Line up much better than last time we attended!

We had great seats while we were entertained by some of country's best.

The bands playing on Broadway were more country than anything in that show. Really? Has it come to this? I'd say most were there to see George Strait anyway. Sorry for his loss.

Sound was bad. Could barely see the stage from our seats.

Loved the performances, the people and the event But we bought premium floor level seats and the sound system echoes made it nearly impossible to hear any introductions and the slow or lower pitched words Very frustrating Plastic seats were packed so tight we bumped into people both in front and behind us many times every night Drunks spilled beer on us

I loved the entertainers... Carrie, Chris, Luke and Jason. What was slightly embarrassing was the monologue between the cohosts. Not necessarily their fault, but it was definitely a let down for this huge fan. As a matter a fact, I left early, and that is not something I've ever done before

These awards were great and the performances were amazing!

I was very disappointed with this event. My son and I feel lucky to have been there, but the event was a letdown. They did absolutely nothing during commercial breaks. They did not use the bigscreen for most of the show, so we didn't see some things that went on. It was very hard to hear people talking on the microphones. And the show just ended. No goodbyes, thanks for watching; nothing. I was very disappointed.

Nashville ' largest party where all the greatest and latest country artists are in town and fans get the opportunity to see artists perform and meet their favorites. There are too many amazing moments this trip to mention and it's only the 3rd day but here a few of the top ones: experiencing the CMT awards/red carpet, Carrie Underwood 's killer performances, Miranda Lambert as well, hearing the talented Maren Morris perform her hit with Rascal Flatts, meeting the handsome Chris Carmack (winning!), and as always getting up close and personal moments with all the Nashville casts of the show especially the ever humble and sweet Charles Esten!! Best news this year is the return of season 5 of Nashville. #nashiesforever.

What happened to the country music. I bought tickets to the CMT Music to see some country artist perform and hear country music. I don't understand why they felt the need to incorporate PitBull and other non-country into a country music show. Bad move CMT. I'm sure I'm not the only fan that feels this way.

Our seats were in the nose bleed section but we still have a wonderful time. It is an experince I will never forget. The show was really good and the music was great.

My daughter and I had a great time at the CMT Music Awards show. Kind of disorganized to get in, but once inside, it worked out. Keep in mind if you are in the pit. you will be moved around due to performance/set changes. You may lose your spot so that was a tad bit frustrating. Overall, we smiled, screamed, danced, & sang. Talked with people and were super pumped.

The Awards is a real fun experience. Everyone should attend this event if they can.

Loved Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood with Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Blake Shelton. Also The Band Perry, Brantley Gilbert, Eric Church

Even though we probably had the worst seats at the very top of the arena we thoroughly enjoyed the show. All of our favorite country music stars in one place performing their best songs. The audience was there for one reason and that was to hear some great music. I would definitely go again - very exciting!! Hopefully get better seats next time!

Awesome performances and the sound was much better than the last time I attended in 2012.

The show was great. My complaint is the way the tickets are put up for sale. You offer a presale and an honest fan can't get a decent seat. We are relegated to the nosebleed area. Scalpers get their hands on them and charge 3 and 4 times the price for the lower seats. It stinks for an honest fan of the music. An honest fan should have the chance to get seats in the lower sections of the Arena.

This was our first experience at the CMT's -WOW! Great seats - what a thrill to see some of today's Hottest Country Music Stars! The air sizzled with the energy of both the performers and audience -can't wait for next year!

This was my first awards show and I will always want to go now!! I had the time of my life!! Even standing in line from 11am to get great spot at the stage at 6pm. The line for the pit was unorganized but it all worked out in the end. Thanks cmt and ticketmaster for letting me be apart of this night!! A night I will never forget!!

Show was good show. Good entertainment. Liked Keith "at the Bluebird". Lzzy Hale & Eric Church were awesome! Loved the Jennifer Nettles, Hunter & John Legend performance.

It was a once in a lifetime experience to actually attend the CMA Awards show while in Nashville for CMAFest. I was thrilled to see Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman arrive on the Red Carpet. Our seats, though in the top section, were directly behind Keith and Nicole. The show was great. The staging was amazing. Love live TV.

This was my first CMT Awards show and I cannot explain what an amazing time I had!! I can't wait to go back next year! The downsides I would say would be the drinking. I don't mind people drinking at events but people are stupid when they drink too much. They spill their beer on you and spill them on the floor and makes a mess. And fighting is also a potential problem. The second downside would be the sound system. It was extremely difficult to hear anyone speaking in the microphones (and the crowd noise had nothing to do with this.) You couldn't hear them announcing anything, especially the winners of the award being giving. Everyone around me was complaining about it. Sometimes the artists performing was hard to hear as well.

I loved the CMT Music Awards. It was so great to see so many artists at one event. I loved Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Derulo singing together. I also loved it when Jennifer Nettles, John Legend, and Hunter Hayes sang together - it was so beautiful. When Little Big Town came out in dressed in all white, the band in all white and the stage in all white, and then the drums and the colors blasting out - that was amazing as well! I hope I have the opportunity to attend this event next year. I would have liked to have had better seats. I was sitting in the nosebleed section - three rows from the top, but it was still great to be there to witness all the singers and the awards be presented.

Some good performances, however CMT makes country music more about pop music than traditional good country. Major down fall of this show

The show was amazing! So many performers just raised the roof!! My favorite performance was Eric Church but all were really good! It wasn't all cold, stuffy and too structured like some awards shows.. This was a party! One big happy, country good time! I hope to go back year after year!

First time attending these awards and to see them live versus on tv was truly a well worth experience. To be interactive with live tv as to commercial breaks and props was unique.

Not as good as other years, no entertainment after the final awards, disappointing. Journey and Rascal Flatts was the best finale thus far. Hard to get tickets but within minutes available on stub hub.

We sat in the upper bowl opposite the stage and still had a great view! Sound was great, performances fantastic!! Only downside to the show was that the "commercial breaks" were a bit long - we wish they would have allowed the small stage performances go on through the breaks. Have already recommended this show & venue to several people.

Show was excellent. Being on television made a lot of time between actual awards or performances. The large screen was blocked due to speakers making them pretty much unwatchable.

The weather was the best in 8 years. We had a lot of out of town guest and they had a blast. Better line up this year.

Best show I have ever attended. I will definatley attend next year as well.

This has become just another concert at a football stadium. One thing that made CMA fest great in the past was a photo line. That CMA took that away this year with the excuse of increased security for all. With no photo line and a seat not near the stage gives one no chance to even see their favorite star up close.

The CMT Awards were amazing! I was given great side-stage seats, near the second stage that jutted out. So many great performances and moments.

Recommend to attend if you are able. It was amazing to see the artists and the fans having a great time together. Fast paced and FUN!!

Loved everything from the reasonable price to the energy on stage. I have always wanted to attend a country music awards show. I can finally scratch it off my bucket list. Enjoyed all the performances and the Back Street Boys. Also like all the behind the scenes activity during the commercials.

I loved the music and sets!!!!!!! I hope next year we will see more of the ones that have been here year after year!!!!!

Only worth a one time visit. Not the place if you actually expect to hear music. Not a fluid event.

Great show and LOVED seeing all the talent in the performer seating area. Only negatives are the obstruction of the stages by the TV equipment and the quality of the wine - let s upgrade that!!

The main acts took place on locations outside the arena an have been watchable on screen only. Limited view from block 104 without notice in advance. After every 15min - long breaks without anything happened because of the ads on tv. Crazy prices for drinks - a small water was 5$.... Carrie Underwood was fantastic... But this was my first and last visit... Better go to the CMA Fest only

Section 200s, take a sweater. We froze with the air conditioner blew down on us.

I am really upset as their was a black banner hanging in our viewing pleasure of the screen the entire night really ruined the event.

It was good, I wish that during the commercial breaks they would have played more live music, or maybe after the show. Just something for the people in crowd who paid to be there, would get something a little extra VS the people who watched it on tv. It was really good, music sounds good, it funny, everyone was nice. But I would probably just save my money and watch it on TV from now on.

Great Show. LBT were great hosts. LOVED the FInale with the TROUBLEMAKERS. WIsh the NEw artists in the DOdge Ram stage could have sang during the commericial breaks--- that would have been nice. Overall a lot of fun!

This was the absolute BEST experience. I would recommend going to this award show next year!!

It was so cool to see what goes on off camera. Amazing experience!

The music was good, but the production & dialog was cumbersome & tedious. Acoustics in the arena was not great.

I enjoyed the show. My seats were not close up but I could see the artists as they were sitting. I enjoy being able to see them even though they might not be performing. I like to go to the show because Carrie Underwood is there and performing. I like to see her win awards that she so deserves. This show is unlike all the others that seem to be political, I like that the fans vote for the winners.

Seeing an awards show live has been a dream of mine forever, and it was so great to experience the CMT Awards as my first. Bridgestone Arena was comfortable and efficient. The performances were great. I was in the second pit, and halfway through the show I got moved closer, to the first pit, to fill space! It was amazing being so close to my favorite musicians! I would love to go again, and definitely recommend the experience.

Great venue and fabulous music. Loved the atmosphere. Chris Lane was terrific as was Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Chris Young, Lucas Hogue and so many more. We went to the awards too... Really enjoyed but didn't like the infusion of other music genres. We go to CMA Fest for country!

Fantastic show to see many of my favorite country artists!

Show was great. It was wonderful to be able to experience this for the very first time. The performers were great. The staff at the arena were very helpful and very nice. Florida Georgia Line did a wonderful job on their performance that is the most stand out moment for me. However all the performers did great. Only complaints I have is that it seemed a little unorganized outside with the lines, they had two different lines going one for regular ticket holders and one for VIP these lines were not marked very well and we ended up standing in the wrong line for a while just as a lot of other people did. The seats we had were in section 221 Row C Seat 6&5, on the seating chart they look as if they are at the stairs however they are against a wall and there is only one way in and out and that is having to walk in front of five other people. One little tip for anyone that wants to attend next year.. You HAVE to be back in your seat before the breaks end or you have to wait until the next break to go back to your seat. You CANNOT go back in while the show is being filmed live.

The CMT Awards were very exciting and to be able to see so many singers perform in the time span of 2 and 1/2 hours was incredible!!

I got to meet some stars on the red carpet and then had a great time at the awards!! It was so great to see the preformance and to see the artists win awards!!

A definite "bucket list" do it. Great entertainment!

We had never been before, so did not know what to expect. We entered as soon as doors opened and went to our seats. They showed what was happening on the red carpet as stars arrived, but unfortunately there was no sound. They played music instead and the music was not what I would call good, it certainly was not country music. We sat there almost two hours watching interviews with no sound. BUT once CMT show started we had a great time!
