RAC IN CONCERT:The era of remixes as compelling as — if not more interesting than — their source material is well upon us, and Remix Artist Collective is at the genre's vanguard. Eschewing the diamond-precise nature of the traditional grid-based remix, the collective's members favor a more nuanced, organic approach that emphasizes the live playing of instruments and the warmth of analog outboard gear.
