Way better than those meaningless friendlies and cheesy MLS opponents. Loud crowd, quality soccer, great weather, big win for TFC. The atmosphere was electric, almost as good as when I saw the Leafs defeat Wayne Gretzky's LA Kings at Maple Leaf Gardens many years ago.

This was an excellent game for TFC and for the fans. The weather was a problem. Rain wind and cold. But the game made up for it. I've seen 9 TFC games before this one I've generally been disappointed. This was great entertainment.

The enthusiasm, singing, knowledge of the game, and spirirt of the crowd - intent on enjoying the game and the event - is what eurpoean soccer can be at its best... tho' without the too-often rowdy-ism of some UK games. Took a mentally handicapped 50-year-old --- He loved it.

Went to the Celtic/Benfica game on Sept 2nd and know i understand why people say once you go to a "FOOTBALL" match you will always want to go again, way better atmosphere at BMO field than the ACC with all their "CORPORATE SUITS" who know NOTHING about sports.

Our 17 year old son is a soccer player and an avid soccer fan. His favorite team in Europe has been Real Madrid for years. The family has followed TFC since the games aired on television and we even traveled to Chicago to to see TFC play. My son and I traveled to Toronto to see the top players in the world and we were no disappointed. The highlights are many but just being at BMO stadium and in the fourth row made my son's dream come true. Seeing the players up close, the plays and footwork of players on both teams made the game exciting. TFC did not win but they played against the best and it thrilled the crowd. The memories of this night will last a very long time.

Overall this event was worth attending. BMO field looked great .. the grass looked terrific and hopefully they will have permanent grass installed in the future. Toronto FC played well in the first 15 minutes and the game could have had a closer score. TFC had two guys right down on goal early and Vitti should have scored early to go up 1-0. A bad give away by Serioux in TFC's own end led to Real Madrid's first goal which really should not have happened. Serioux should have cleared the ball away. De Rosario played well and looked like he needed more help on this night. Maybe TFC was tired out from a busy week .. they did not look sharp. The skill of Real Madrid was obvious and they played very well. My first trip to BMO field was a great experience and I am glad I went but I had wished for a more competitive match ..

First off, it took over 20 minutes to get into the stadium, as security were understaffed, that was a huge problem. I have never waited in line for over 20 minutes to get into BMO field before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The game was an average friendly, with Real Madrid deciding to put on a show after the first few minutes. It was not worth 125$.

I am a TFC fan as I have been attending matches since the inception of the team. The first year it was all about the excitement of having a professional soccer team and the fact that the product on the field was bad did not impact. The second year for me was a residue of the first year with little impact on what was happening on the field. Now in the third year my expectation was reasonable, I obviously do not expect the team to win every game but I do feel that the team needs to acquire better talent. For me the novelty of having a professional soccer team is gone and now I would like to see some quality soccer. I m happy with the event but I feel that if the product on the field does not get better my excitement will start to dwindle and I will eventually stop going to games. I do like the atmosphere created by us the fans during the game.

To start, BMO Field is a lovely place by the lakefront. The seating was easy to find and comfortable. The game was great because we scored and had the run of play. Then FC scored and that's how the match ended, tied 1 - 1. Toronto fans were polite for the most part, they did not dump beer on us or throw things at us.

The BMO stadium is beautiful and we had seats that had the view of the city, CN tower and lake. Many different choices for food however very expensive. The stadium is not easy to get to with public transportation, at least not we could find. It took an hour and half to get from the airport to the exhibition grounds. It is too bad Toronto didn't have a subway train to both, if they did, I was unable to get that information from the hotel. The tickets were very expensive also. I think this was a one and only game for us. We will watch them on TV

I spent 120 on mid level seats, almost at the top and watched our terrible TFC team fail to finish on any chances and lose 1-0 to a bad Columbus team. The game was Boring at times, and ultimately, was overpriced for the quality of the soccer i warched. Get the cheap tickets if you want to see a game, it's not worth any more than $30.

Annually, my son and I attend MLS games in various cities... since their is no top flight soccer in Charlotte, NC our residence. This year ...we chose Toronto to see the stadium and watch the competition between two last place sides. The stadium was beautiful, the tickets purchased through Ticketmaster were just as promised. We were close enough to the bench to hear the gaffer using colorful language to encourage his side. Fans knowledgeable about soccer. The Toronto group is a late arriving crowd. However, management should open the stadium up more then HOUR before game time. Your missing out on big concessions business because so many people have to sit outside. Open @ 6pm for a 7:30 game!

Although Toronto lost 2-0 to Houston, the overall experience was awesome. Great seats (we could see the Molson Amphitheatre, the Toronto Island, the CN Tower and almost the whole city from there), easy to enter and to get out, everything was really clean, the staff was really polite... and the small party after the game with some beer was also really cool! TFC might not be a brilliant soccer team, but it's worth watching it!

The event was good, well organized but the issue was the heat/sun for that day. Since this stadium has a dome it should have been closed as paying $150 for a ticket and you are not at ease is not acceptable. The 2nd half of the match the dome was closed and it was more enjoyable.

SHOOTTHEBALL
While I understand this was an International Friendly match, with 2nd & 3rd string players, the action was a total disappointment; to the point of being a boring game. Sure I can appreciate their ability to move the ball well (we saw 90 minutes of good footwork and possession soccer) but nobody was interested in scoring a goal! My inspriation for going was 2-fold; (a) to see some great soccer with a premiership team, and (b) to have a fun night out in TO. The venue (roof open amazing), the fans, the weather..........all were amazing. The soccer...........fail. Sorry to those who organized, but somebody should tell the players, coaching staff and orgainzers that soccer fans want action. If we wanted boring, we'd go to a baseball game. To be honest, my meal afterwards at Verona was more memorable than the game. Give the fans what they want. They pay the salaries.

It didn't start off great -- but the end of the first and the entire second half was terrific. Those people who left after the Whitecaps tied it at the beginning of extra time should be ashamed of themselves. They missed a fantastic ending. Maybe next time they'll think twice and maybe they'll have some faith that our team is able to come back and pull out a well deserved win.

We have driven down from Ottawa to see TFC at least once per year the last four years. Usually, they put in a good effort, and I have seen them win, lose and draw so my expectations for the end result is not too high. This year the team plays with no enthusiasm and no drive. I will consider driving to Montreal to see the Impact next time rather than spend my hard-earned $ on an overpriced Toronto Football Club experience.

I think TM needs to identify online where the visitor and family sections are to make purchase decisions a bit easier. We got really lucky as Sounders fans and ended up right next to the 16 people that had tickets through the Emerald City Supporters. Great experience for us as Sounders fans, and because they won. A little bit of competitive banter with TFC fans, but nothing got out of hand. Security even escorted our group out and offered to walk people to their cars if they wanted. Great atmosphere. Great support for TFC from the Toronto fans. We'd definitely go again.

Knowing Toronto a bit, I wanted a seat on a specific side of the field so that I could have the view on Toronto skyline. Bought it and I wasn't disappointed once at the stadium, the view is priceless! As for the game, what can I say? Toronto was down 0-2 at half-time but came back to win it 3-2 with the winning free-kick by Bradley at the 89th minute! Let's go Reds!

Anytime you can bring in world class players to Major League Soccer is good for the game and great for the fans. As usual, BMO Field had a carnival atmosphere but for the first time there was a noticeable presence by the 'suits' and 'corporate types' in the stands. A harbinger of things to come? More sell outs by Maple Leaf Sports & Enteretainment? The Red Boyz played hard and had a few great chances (particularly in the first 15 minutes of the match); but when the Galacticos put 'er into fifth gear, the proverbial men separated from the boys. Entertaining? You bet! Fun? Absolutely! But a diversion that masks the inability of MLSE to field a great product. Bottom Line: $ + Managerial incompetence = MLSE!

My 9 yr old and I went to our first TFC game in Toronto. The stadium is beautiful and was easy to get to. Our seats were great too. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. What we did not like was that people were constantly getting up to go get food. Holy cow, did you come to watch the game or eat. This is why we prefer to watch on TV. A lot of action was missed because people couldn't stay in there seats. Also, at half time we went to get a treat but found out that BMO Field has a VERY poor selection of snacks. No fried dough, no waffles, no dip & dots. My son was very disappointed in the selection. We want to go back but aren't sure we will because of the lack of respect of those that can't sit down and let everyone else enjoy the game.

Can't go wrong with a TFC match. Every seat is a good seat, the team is playing lights out, the stadium is downtown, and by the lake. The price of the tickets is fair, considering the quality of the entertainment. The beer is over-priced, but the beer is over-priced everywhere, so it is what it is. This is the year TFC win it all, so go to a game this year if you can.

Toronto FC is like watching school yard football. It's slow and sloppy and it's no wonder the MLS isn't aa popular as football in the rest of the world. Couple that with sky high drinks prices, (even water is nearly $5) and overpriced tickets and it's easy to see why I recommend you avoid this entertainment.

A mixed day although I enjoyed the experience overall. I liked the stadium, the pitch (which I believe has been criticised) played well and people -officials and fellow spectators were friendly. The game was mediocre although there were some individual skills; maybe I expected too much as I watch UK Premiership and Championship football (60 games in 2015-6). One criticism; The gates were opened far too late so there were too many spectators milling about outside only an hour before the start; that is not good enough. Baseball does better. Two disappointments. My favourite Liverpool, player, Steven Gerrard was not paying for LA Galaxy - nobody's fault as he was reportedly injured No match day programme. and I would have liked one.Toronto FC used to have them. I have one from 2014 for example

It was amazing day, me and my son we had a day that we won't forget, siting in the first row just behind the goal was extraordinary, we had so much fun, the only negative part it was that we weren't allowed to see them after the game to have some pictures, talk with them and try to get some signature from them, but unfortunately we weren't able to do that, I was literally last Person to go out of the field view hoping to have some chance, but didn't happen, other fans they were disappointed too, specially I'm a spurs fan since 1981, and drove from Montreal for this occasion, as I said it was a life time opportunity and I had a blast with my son, I thank theToronto FC organization for arranging this game, I wish the the team will achieve its goals with its new acquisitions, thanks again.

Toronto FC were outclassed in the first half. Pity Jermain Defoe showed nothing against his old London team. Lamela scored twice for Spurs and maybe he'll not be an expensive paperweight this year. Second half was Toronto's before Spurs got the winner. BMO Stadium is a comfortable ground with good views from all angles. The event was well policed by club staff and offered plenty of food/beverage/gift kiosks
