Guster continue to bring the house down with their inventive live shows, impressive musicianship and funky attitude towards life and how to live it. Their set list spanned their entire 25 year catalog. Energetic and engaging.

An absolutely amazing concert from an absolutely amazing band! I'm so happy they FINALLY made it to Louisville (at least as a headliner - they opened for John Mayer about 12 years ago)! I was also pleasantly surprised with the venue - The Mercury Ballroom was much nicer than I expected.

Great sound, great song selection. Guys seemed relaxed and looked like they had a good time on stage. Brian always seems to give his all when he is cooking up there and last night was no exception. We have been seeing this band since 2003 and are never disappointed. Love the Guster!!!

Some bands you go see for the music, Guster gives you a show. They always seem to have as much fun on the stage as the fans have watching. They genuinely enjoy performing, and it just makes it that much more enjoyable for the fans.

Guster came out there and made every song they played count. They really got into it and played a powerful, exciting setlist. Then they came back out, and did it again. They played an entire normal setlist, then after a short break played the entire Lost and Gone Forever albums straight through. They even came back for an ENCORE, after that! Long story short, you always get what you paid for and more with Guster.

This concert was bad - the building is crap, the sound was not loud enough and people were crammed in standing only and were talking most of the time. The band opened rough and then got better but largely went through the motions. Clearly the worst Guster show I have ever seen and one the worst shows of anyone I have seen.

The boys (Guster) were absolutely amazing==they are some of the most talented musicians in the business. From the harmonizing of Adam and Ryans voices, to the creative harmonicas and ukeleles to the out of this world drumming by Brian...they were just amazing. The venue was awesome as well and I think all the fans appreciated the Jesus on the Radio acoustic/fan sung version. The boys are just so real and one of those bands that you just absolutely must see live. Great set list as well. So cool to hear LAGF in its album entirety. Great Great Night. Thank you GUSTER!

The show was great. I loved the very end when they played "Jesus on the radio" and broke out the banjo for it. It was beautiful, especially with all of the lighting!!! The show was great. My friend (who introduced me to Guster 6+ years ago) just loves that album, and so I know she really enjoyed hearing it all the way through. I really wish that they had played "Love for me" though, that song rocks!! Otherwise, it was a great show for seeing Guster for the third time!

We arrived about 15 minutes before showtime to find a packed house. More than packed; we could barely find a place to stand in the *bar*, let alone the floor. We spent half the concert in the bar with almost no view of the stage and terrible audio quality, considered leaving, then tried to move through the wall of humans to a spot on the floor (no room on the balcony, according to security). There were two narrow entrances to the floor, and one of them was choked by the merch table. The event was oversold, as far as I'm concerned. Didn't see anything on tap at the bar, either. Guster put on a good performance. I'm mainly a "Lost and Gone Forever" fan, and their play-through didn't disappoint. The drummer added new disco-like backbeats to a number of songs, and they sounded great. "Airport Song" and "Jesus on the Radio" closed out the encore, with a lot of new music in the best version of "Airport" I've yet heard. What was with the crowd shouting something about "dirty" during one of the songs? This is my 4th Guster show, and I've never heard that before.

This is my 9th Guster concert, and they sounded as amazing as ever. They are my favorite band of all time, and hands down one of the best live bands you will ever see... Unfortunately, I saw very little because the venue was overcrowded and set up pretty poorly. I couldnt even get to the merch table to buy a shirt. The balcony was OK, but i spent most of my time at the bar because it was better than staring at the back of peoples heads. All in all, Guster is never a disappointment, but I will never return to Madison Theater.

I hadn't seen Guster since I was in college, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. They started the show with old favorites and then rocked right into a little bit of newer stuff. They were funny, could sing well, and the drummer is still one of the most amazing people to watch. A highlight was that the Maine Youth Rock Orchestra backed them up for a good portion of the show, and it was obvious that they all absolutely adored the opportunity to play, and the band loved having them. Very appreciative comments from band members to attendees for showing up, and we were told it was one of the biggest shows they've played outside of Boston. Great music, and a stellar venue.

Guster was great. They played a great set with a nice balance of old and new. I initially thought that the inclusion of the Maine Youth Rock orchestra was just a cute gimmick but they ended up adding a ton to the music. I hadn't realized how many Guster songs had strings and horns in the studio versions, but they really allowed them to nail these songs. Thompson's Point is the best concert venue. Like a waterfront park with food trucks and beer. I would pay to go there even if there were no concert!

Tried to get tix to the Guster Boston anniversary show: Thursday — no, Friday — nope, Saturday — nyet, Sunday — YES! This would be our first time seeing them. Were very excited. Went to the show and Ryan Miller's voice was SHOT! It was so bad (I guess after the previous three nights) that he actually encouraged the audience to sing the lyrics loudly to fill in. Seriously? I came to hear the band, not the audience. Miller mentioned that half the people had purchased special tickets for all four nights. I wish someone had told us that we were going to a 4-day-long concert cut into pieces. The rest of the band was tight: the drummer and the brass section were awesome! Feel like I wasted my money.

To be honest, the reason I went to the show was to see the opening act (John Wesley Harding/Wesley Stace), so I went in not knowing a lot about the headliners. Even with a voice raw from the previous three nights, the show was a lot of fun, with a very appreciative, upbeat fan base (though I'm still not sure what the pixie stix were for). It was a fun, positive night, and I would definitely like to see them again.

Guster never disappoints, but this show was as special as anticipated. For night two of their four-night block, they played a good mix of songs from all albums and mixed in their typical on stage banter and quirkiness. The addition of strings was an added bonus. The Paradise as a venue is still awkward but is a necessary stop for catching bands in a small venue.

I've been a Guster fan for 23+ years. I first heard them while developing a playlist for training to run a marathon in 1999. Since then, they have been the background theme for all the major events of my life to include the birth of my daughter and even the song we danced to at our wedding. This concert was especially unique as it was the first time my daughter got to see them perform live. Having been raised on Guster herself, it was almost a religious experience as she go to witness the talent and musicality live! "They really do exist!" Their music continues to evolve and delight- adding new favorites to my playlist right next to the old. I can't wait to see what they come up with next! Thanks for being a part of my musical life!

This was the 4th time I've seen them and they haven't disappointed me yet. Their interaction with the crowd is always playful and cheerful. They played several numbers from the new Evermotion album which I happen to love but it was largely a greatest hits event for me. They touched on nearly every album in their catalog including playing a crowd request "Eden" from Parachute. They played some of my favs, "Come Downstairs And Say Hello" and "Ruby Falls". They did not play "Amsterdam" but I forgive them for it, they're probably burned out on it anyway. My only complaint was that the acoustics in the venue, Fillmore Charlotte, absolutely sucked! The band's amps may have been cranked up too much for the room or maybe the sound board mix was shoddy but its not the first time I've been disappointed by the venue's sound. Overall, I was happy to have caught yet another Guster gig and will do it again when they come back around to town.

Guster skillfully moved through a wide variety of their material stretching back quite a few albums. Their new songs, although recently released, felt like I'd known them for years. The musicianship was solid as usual, and the stage banter was entertaining. Kishi Bashi, the opening act, was very fun to listen to, and stylistically unique. I've been into Guster since they used to play at Wetlands many moons ago. I haven't seen them live since. In the past 9 years, I had a kid, and he loves Guster too. So, for his Bday we decided we were going to see them live. Tix were sold out, but mommy was persistent and sure enough, was able to get last minute released tix on Ticketmaster two days before the show, YAY! We were FRONT AND CENTER... literally. Ok, about Jack's Mannequin... the lead singer is a total performer, every song was on the verge of Epic and the front 20 rows was comprised with a gaggle of young women who were 1/2 my age. To describe one interaction, an adorable little blond girl in flip flops and a short skirt exclaimed "oh my god who is this?" referring to the music playing on the loudspeaker before the band came on. I turned around and said... "California Girls by ... you know, the Beach Boys". Gut wrenching. We hung out for a few songs. The young gaggle seemed to really love them. My son kind of liked them but felt the lead singer was too Justin Beibery for his liking. My kid is NINE. After a few epic belts, we went for ice cream and waited for Guster to hit the stage. Fortunately, this gaggle of children didn't know who Guster was and cleared the floor after Jack's Mannequin left. Thus, I did the Rocker Experience Chick shuffle, used my kid for sympathy and got us into the FRONT ROW. Yeah, I'm good. Anyway, GUSTER WAS AMAZING! Everyone in this band can play so many instruments. It was cool watching members of the band change places and play different instruments for different songs. That is TALENT. They played so many of our favorite songs. I thought my kid was gonna have a cow when 'One Man Wrecking Machine' came on. We were riveted and dancing the whole time. These guys are super talented, and it really came through in their performance. I loved the lead singer's wacky humor and authenticity. Wish they gave my kid some props for his location and energy but hey, I guess we're spoiled by other artists who notice us in the front of a rockin crowd. Heheheheh. The venue was righteous. The other Guster fans were stellar. We rocked, we sang, we danced... it was better than Cats. We'd see them again and again. I bought the tee shirt (and I never do that). My stars were for the Guster portion of the show.

These guys give the best live performances anyone could ask for: humor, talent and dependability, yet always packing a surprise. They are one of the few bands to really rock harmonies and remain steadily in key during a performance, often making favorite songs even better. They also aren't afraid to move away from just new material in a show; instead, they constantly bring back little-known favorites for the die-hard fans.

Guster always puts on a fantastic show. It's a great time to let loose, have fun, and get your dance on. Plenty of songs for everyone to sing along with too. Don't miss them next time they're in town.

Good Old War opened and gained a lot of new fans with an entertaining set. Guster played a good mix of current release and old stuff.

My third time seeing Guster at the Tabernacle. Last show was phenomenal, this one topped it. Amazing harmony, high energy throughout. These guys love being on stage and love each other and it comes out in their show.

Guster put on a great set Friday! Guster fans are the best, they jump around, know all the words and sing along. Guster played alot off the new album but blew me away with older songs like Barrel of a Gun and Airport Song.

This concert was quite remarkable. While I have been a fan of Guster ever since my first exposure to them, this concert demonstrated that their style has developed. It now has more substance, more depth than it used to. Now I look forward even more for my next opportunity to hear them live.

Guster never disappoints. From the intimate 9:30 Club to a Christian college to DAR Constitution Hall, they rokk every crowd. This tour is a good mix of the new album and classic songs and the new guy (Luuuuuuuuuke) fits in well. Instead of walking offstage before the encore, they played "Wipeout" and had the crowd do the Wave. Then for their REAL encore, the guys unplugged and played a song from the middle of the crowd. Wow. I've heard them unplug for encores before, but never in a crowd that size. To hush people enough that you can still hear them in a place as big as DAR. Wow.

Guster played DAR Constitution Hall and, rather than delivering a lecture on capital gains tax, brought an amazing and energetic show. We were 5th row center, fantastic seats on the aisle (so close I high-fived Ryan and patted Brian on the shoulder as they left the stage for the 2nd encore: Jesus on the Radio). Old classics and several songs from their new, brilliant album "Easy Wonderful". 90 minute set, very fun.

I was able to purchase the 15 year anniversary tickets so they were about $20. Electric Factory is always a great venue... get to see everything from anywhere. Guster was absolutely fabulous!

Final show of the tour and Adam was glad to be home. The guys pulled out all the stops and played a well rounded set of early material and their current disc. I have seen them about 5 times and as always an incredible show.

What an amazing show. The crowd went wild. The energy was incredible. Kishi Bashi was electric. Best show ever. Even Ryan admitted That Adams hometown was the best audience of the tour.

Great show by a great band. Guster obviously enjoys playing together and performing. The opening act was a one man show named Kishi Bashi, and he was adorable!!

Great show, so-so venue. Guster was great as always, the opening act (Kishi Bashi) was very entertaining. Stage AE is so-so at best. Benches around the perimeter of the cement-floored general admission area would be great. Beats sitting on concrete floor while waiting for the show to start.

This was the greatest concert I've seen in a long time! Guster was full of energy, cranked out many of their hits both old and new, and had plenty of fun connecting to the audience (and making fun of them). Kishi Bashi is unbelievably talented and sounds even better live.
