Art Laboe

My wife and I had such an awesome time! We bought tickets second row from the stage and they were worth every bit what I paid for them. If you haven't experienced a show featuring any of these groups near the stage, I recommend spending a little extra just once and you'll be hooked! Willie G and Thee Midnighters, Sunny Ozuna of Sunny And The Sunliners and Rene Rene were also great! I will be attending every year for as long as they have this event!

Concert was awesome!!! Lots of fun..great artists, great music and great memories.

Awesome awesome awesome. 100 thumbs up and a billion likes. Very well organized. No haters, no snappers, no bangers, no trippers!. Just a bunch of old school folk getting their groove on with Zaap band, Club Noveau, Champagne, Climax, and my boys big Sugar Hill!!!

The whole show was amazing full of great vibes!! All performers sound the same!!! Took me back to sweet times!!!

Songs were great but the sound was terrible. When the artists were speaking could not understand what they were saying because of too much bass or something, sound was just off and didn't sound right.

THIS WAS MY FIRST 92.3 CONCERT... MY BOYFRIEND AND I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW... HIS WORDS.... CONCERT WAS "TIGHT" HE LOVED IT.... REALLY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT TIME.

Always great to hear these old legends. Art is always enthusiastic and keeps the show moving along by telling short stories in between sets. Tierra's new singer is very good, but the band was just "OK". Didn't care too much for El Chicano's new singer who sang Sabor A Mi. I've always enjoyed Bertha. Thee Midniters were great. What can you say about Lil Willy G? Good memories of ELA and Whittier Blvd.

I really enjoyed myself so did my husband . This was our second time coming and we were not disappointed . El Chicano, Malo, Tierra were awesome!! My seat were great.

If you leave off the first 2 opening acts every other band was outstanding! Our group tried to rate the remaining 4 bands and it was very difficult to rank a 1-4. I would recommend attending any further Latin Legends shows in the future. Keep it coming Art Laboe!

Art Laboe Latin Legend was a great concerts and will attend again next year.

The show started 15-20 minutes late which caused a rushed set by the Midnighters. The two opening acts were regretably lousey and would have been a better show if they had been left off the bill. Altough I respect Mr. Laboe his vamping and time fills between acts was poor and not appropriately planned. The time wasted on the opening and the late start could have been better spent allowing the main liners to expand their sets giving them an additional song or two. Overall a good show, good music, and worth the price of the tickets.

It was an amazing event, much better than anticipated. It would have been nicer if a CD of the event could have been sold following the end of the show.

I didn't know Art Laboe was on the short side!! But He kept the show on time and moving moving! He was Funny and I loved his many costume changes! The Acts were great and they didnt sing a bunch of songs you didn't know! or instance, if you only had 2 hit songs...then that's ALL YOU SANG!! NEXT!!! Klymaxx was the only disappointment...There was only 1 original member! The New Group members were Too Young & didn't have the Heart or Pipes like the Original members. And the audience reflected my feelings...Hardly ANYONE STOOD UP TO SING OR DANCE! JUST POLITE APPLAUSE! EVELYN "CHAMPAGNE" KING WAS ON FIRE! SHE MOVED BETTER THAN BACK IN THE DAY! The Sugar Hill Gang sang not only their hit but covered other old school rap...Great! the rest of the line up included Zapp, Club Nouveau, Midnight Star

I truly had an awesome time at the show. I went alone and yet I didn't feel alone, I danced all night to music I grew up listening to and saw groups I've wanted to see since first hearing their music. It was especially nice to see groups I saw in my younger years and find out they still have what it takes to rock the stage,

Concert was great, but 4.5 hours was a little too much for me. Great line up of bands, but personally I think sugar hill gang should have closed.

OMG!!!! I thought that was the best concert I have ever seen. I decided to attend the concert the day before with my husband. I purchased the cheaper tickets not knowing where we would be seated and it being the last minute. I literally danced 4 hours, and the concert was 4 1/2 hours. All the artisits were FABULOUS; truly blasts from the past. I enjoyed every artist and memories to share. I did not realize the entire lineup, but I am so glad that I was apart of this Art Laboe Old School Block Party!! This was truly an event. Our seats were great, and I had plenty of room to dance. I received my monies worth and some. I'm looking forward to another concert such as this, but I doubt another concert will match up to this one. WOW EXCELLENT!

Love the location of event great music most of all everyone was up the whole time dancing and getting alone what a great night. Hope to see more events at the forum

The concert was soooooo good! Everybody gave their all. We went back to the 70s, 80s and 90s and partied all night long... I so hope they return next year...

My Wife and I enjoyed this show, everyone who came out for the event partied from beginning to end. All of the artist's performance was far beyond my expectation. Hey Art when is the next Block Party? The Forum looks great after its renovation, its like a new facility, great atmosphere, and I loved the large poster style mural's of all the past and present artists who have/had performed there......

Klymax, Zapp or the Sugar Hill Gang perfumed with fill in performers, Zapp played California Love 3 times, Zapp had steppers as supposed entertainers. Overall I expected a much better concert considering the line up. The super tight parking spots for $25.00 each as well as the incredibly weakly poured mixed drinks for $12.00 each as well as waiting an average of 20 minutes in line for every drink was disappointing. $12.00 is not bad but as weakly poured as they were, The Forum should be ashamed! I should have stayed at home, bought a $100 bottle of Cognac, smoked a few cigars and listened to these groups on my backyard entertaining system. The only artist to impress me was Evelyn Champagne King! Also can many of you ladies be better friends and tell your friends that just because spandex stretches means that it fits or looks good on them. :)

had a really great time. all the acts were wonderful and the songs brought me and the arena up out our seats and dancing the whole night I hadnt been to the Forum for over 15 yrs. i must say i was impressed with the renovation. i would love to attend another concert here

I have to say that the concert was great, my wife & I had a great time. But the location is far from Vegas, and to UBER/Lyft back/forwarth would be expensive.

It was my first time to an Art Laboe show and I was really excited because I ve never been to one. It s sad to say I was really disappointed because it ended so early I only enjoyed Tierra and Mc magic I was expecting more

It was poorly done!! Thank Goodness for El Chicano!! They saved the night!! The other groups were awful!! A waste of money and time!!!

It was an outstanding ,fabulous night. It was my sisters birthday , a gift from me to her . she came in from Texas For the weekend I ordered us a limo , that was her other surprise,called my friends to get ready for the show pick them up We had a wonderful dinner went to the concert listened to incredible music. Was a fabulous night. It was music my sister grew up listening to. that was the best birthday present but I could give her, since we live in separate states we don't hang out much.I'm happy she made time for us. The groups were amazing hard to believe that it was just last year it's like a dream I just sent her an email reminding her that she was here last year we took great pictures thank you Art it was an amazing ,incredible unforgettable night! we will always remember this. all the artists were fabulous! they all sounded so good. the band was excellent as well, playing great to all the artists. Art Laboe was great, coming out in a different shiny suit each time.

Joey Bataan was great. Very happy with all performers. Art Laboe is still doing a fabulous job!!

We enjoyed this years concert compared to last year because most of the groups had their own band. Last year the house band had played music for most of the groups and the music didn't sound the same. I would of rated this as one of the best concerts I've been to had there been a couple of big screens to see the performers. Please take into consideration for future concerts. Thanks

All in all tickets were way over priced! The sound was awfull in some parts of the concert it was horrible. The song choices were not all that good only Tierra sounded decent.

All of the artists sound amazing. The music was spectacular. This is real music. We really enjoyed the show. And Art Laboe seems like such a sweetheart. Loved his outfit changes, and he took the time to walk out and introduce each performer. Very thoughtful and showed his appreciation. Great show. It was great seeing all the artist, had not seen many of them live. I had not seen Sony Ozuna since the 70's Tierra was amazing and so was Chicano. Totally Amazing!!
