Loved it. Killer still plays that boogie woogie piano as good as ever. I was happy to see him in person at last. Venue was a reminder of night clubs of old. $10 minimum per person unbelievable for NYC.

Jerry Lee and band entertained the packed house. Jerry Lee's sister and niece came out before he did and put on quite a show as well. Had tickets to see him in Memphis at Cannon Center November 2014, but concert canceled due to health problems. Was happy to see him this this time.

This wasn't so much as going to a concert as paying homage to a living legend. And he's still sexy! Last man standing indeed, like a pillar in the desert. If you haven't tried to see him, you don't love rock and roll.

Although Jerry Lee Lewis is now a bit difficult to understand when he speaks, his singing and piano playing remain unmatched. He had everyone cheering and singing along to favorites like Mexicali Rose, Whole Lotta Shakin' Going' On, and of course an incredible finale with Great Balls Of Fire. Seeing the show was a rare opportunity and it was FANTASTIC! He remains the myth, the legend, the killer. PLAY ON, Jerry!!!

Jerry Lee may be walking slower, but his piano playing and singing are still worth the ticket. I grew up watching him on television, and I wanted to finally get to see him in person. If he still rocks at this point, I envy those who saw him in his heyday! Long live Jerry Lee.

Jerry Lee Lewis recently turned 80 but you would not notice that to see him perform. His hands flew up and down the keys, his voice was extremely strong and he still pulls off some of his stage antics. He was playing the piano with his foot flung on the keys and still managed to kick the piano bench back after his performance. He performed for approximately 45 minutes and it was for the most part all Rock and Roll. He did however play a couple of Country numbers like You Win Again and Over the Rainbow. Jerry Lee was, is and always will be the Greatest Performer that ever graced a stage and will always be know for putting on "The Greatest Live Shows on Earth". Rock on Killer!

80 years old and still going at it ! Rock and Roll Royalty Jerry Lee Lewis can still play that piano Good show by band and joined on stage by Jerry's sister to warm up the crowd before Jerry came on. She did a good job, very entertaining. A short video clip, then Jerry Lee came on stage to a standing ovation. The history this man has been through is amazing. He can still sing and play. Although we are all getting older, he still puts on a great show ! Audience was allowed to come to stage to get closer pics.

The show at Sam's Town featuring Jerry Lee Lewis was great! He did a lot of songs and had the audience on their feet. His sister Linda Gale and Linda's daughter sang a few songs at the beginning as well as the band playing and singing but once Jerry Lee took a seat at the piano, it was all Jerry Lee. I hope he schedules more dates this year that I will be able to attend.

Really enjoyed Jake Rowley & the Payola Kings. Wished they would have played more of Elvis' more popular songs and for someone who played Elvis in Million Dollar Quartet, Jake Rowley did not exude Elvis' persona very much. But the singing was still very good & the Payola Kings were fantastic. I don't know if Jerry Lee Lewis was having a bad night or what. His sister came out & performed first. I was wondering what was going on - we didn't pay to see her in concert. But she said we all needed to get ready for the party so hopes were high for the Jerry Lee Lewis part of the concert. Shortly after starting his set, Jerry Lee Lewis started griping to his musicians about not knowing what key to play in. After playing a few songs, he stood up and moved his piano bench away. Crowd cheered - waiting for something special. Instead he stopped playing mid song and walked off stage. The band finished the song & bade us good night. Jerry Lee Lewis was on for a total of only 15-1/2 minutes! Show would have been a total bust of not for Jake Rowley & the Payola Kings.

It was great to see this legend perform. His ability to still play the piano with such energy and precision was remarkable. He was obviously not happy with his band as several times during the performance he could be heard calling out "keys". During the "last" song, he literally stopped in the middle of the song and walked off the stage. Not sure if this was part of the performance or if he was upset with the band and just quit!!

Growing up with Jerry Lee & his genre and knowing about his past, I was amazed at how he transitioned from a 79 y/o broken body ravaged by years of abuse and very recent health problems, into the Jerry Lee Lewis of old the second he touched the piano keys. His voice was strong and he played the piano like nobody else can, or ever will. He is not only the Last Man Standing, he is the Man. I drove 375 miles to see the show, and believe me, it was worth the trip. Keep on, keeping on Killer....Like I said, You the man!!!

Jerry Lee Lewis put on the most electrified and energetic show that I have seen him do in several years. The Killer was in good spirits, laughing, joking and carrying on with the audience and playing pure full throttle ROCK AND ROLL. The show was fantastic, he showed energy that was unreal. At 79 years young, he played tonight like he did in the 1970's and 80's. Wow! The set opened with Jerry Lee's long time band the Memphis Beats and the set list for the show is as follows:The Memphis Beats: Bony Maronie (Ken Lovelace), Swinging Doors (Ray Gann), Honey Don t (Robert Hall), Bye Bye Johnny (Buck Hutcheson), Slippin' and Slidin' (Ken Lovelace) Jerry Lee and The Memphis Beats: Down The Line, You Win Again, Drinkin' Wine-Spo-Dee-O-Dee, Before The Night Is Over, Sweet Little Sixteen, You Belong To Me, C.C. Rider, She Even Woke Me Up To Say Goodbye, Great Balls Of Fire, Roll Over Beethoven, Over The Rainbow (by request from someone in the audience), As Far As I'm Concerned (Jerry sang this for Judith smile emoticon ), Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On smile emoticon Jerry Lee Lewis once again proved why his is "The Greatest Live Show on Earth." I am already looking forward to the next show. God Bless Jerry Lee and may he continue to Rock On for a long time to come.

I saw Jerry Lee Lewis 40 years ago at Granny's Dinner Playhouse in Dallas, Texas . . . I sincerely hope I age as well as he has, approaching 80. No, he didn't kick the stool out from under him or jump up on the piano, but his playing is still as tight as ever! Old age is undefeated but JLL is going down swinging. Played all his great hits, joked with the audience, told a few stories. He only did one set but that is definitely forgivable because he still leaves it all on the stage. Highly recommend seeing him before he retires! The Killer, at age 79, can still rock a piano with the best. His voice is good for his age and he knows to be careful with the high notes and yodel. The venue is a nice size, big enough for a name act but small enough to keep intimate connection with the audience. Accoustics are good although engineers had Jerry Lee's voice over amplified for this show. I was glad to see JLL at this venue and wouldn't hesistate to return.

Great show once again by the Killer. The Memphis Beats opened the show with some great hits before the curtains closed for a few minutes. When they reopened, Jerry Lee was sitting at the piano. Someone close by said he was brought out in a wheelchair and didn't want the audience to see how frail he was. He played for about 30 minutes and had very little interaction with the audience. He asked for a coke and spoke to the audience a minute or so waiting for it to be brought to him. His voice is still strong and he did a great job. I just wish he had sung more songs. The fact is he is not in good enough health to do concerts. He had to hold on to piano so that he wouldn't fall off piano chair. He made comments that made no sense. He had to be walked on and off the stage. He seemed disoriented. It was really just sad. I think it's a shame to pay good money for this performance or lack of. Seems like people are keeping him on stage to keep their own jobs. He needs to retire. I truly felt sorry for him.

To close your eyes and to hear him your transported back to when he was much younger. When you open your eyes and watch his hands on the piano you can tell his hands were graced by God. When you look at Jerry Lee Lewis on stage, you see a man who looks like death walking. It was such a shame to see him as frail as he was playing shows still. I am glad I was fortunate to see him play, it was on my bucket list, however, I wish in a way I didn't see him play live because now whenever I think about him when I hear his music it will be this frail old man who looked like death walking.

It was the opportunity to pay homage to a living legend. The band, Linda Gail Lewis and her "minnie mouse" voiced lovely daughter were lively. Curtains closed and opened to allow Jerry Lee to be helped to the piano. At 79, his voice is shot although piano skill remains. His was a scant, lack luster 45 minute set he seemed determined to push through to completion. The bare minimum of hits delivered. The fans clapped and cheered for their past memories. For fans, it was worth it to see Jerry Lee "one more time". This event would not have created any new ones.

After reading the other reviews , I became disappointed . It seems that Jerry Lee performed better than the concert that I went to. I read he kicked his piano chair over, he didn't do that at the concert I went to. He talked to the audience, he never said a word to us. This really upset me after I read the other reviews. I agree with others that the show was to short for the amount of money we paid to see him. I understand his "age" was a factor, but at least not just go through the motions. I would of loved to hear him talk to us. Tell us a story about segments of his life, about the song he was about to sing....anything , just don't ignore his fans, his audience. This would of least made the concert longer, instead of just an hour and a half. I paid a $100.00 a ticket to see a video type concert. Don't get me wrong, I understand he has aged like the rest of us, the "50''s" generation, but at least give us a show! Play your hits, "Rock'n Roll Highschool", "Breathless". TALK TO US ! TURN AND LOOK AT THE CROWD ! THANK US ! SHOW US YOU CARED ABOUT YOUR LOYAL FANS!

At 78 Jerry Lee is still managing to put on an extremely impressive live show that still showcases his relevant and elaborate piano playing. Jerry Lee still has his chops and getting to see him live only reinforced further that the talent that made him launch to a superstar in the 50's is still there in glimpses now. I am quite certain no one went to the show expecting to see 22 year old/1957 Jerry Lee. The energy level of the show and Jerry's piano playing were very, very good for his age. I was very pleasantly surprised at the speed and dexterity on his piano solos and his vocals were extremely strong and clear on this night. Jerry's touring band opened with two songs one from Jerry's longtime guitar player, Kenny Lovelace who has been playing with Jerry since 1966. Always a treat. The second song was a great rendition of Love to Ride by Robert Hall who has been playing drums for Jerry since 1995. Outside of being a very accomplished drummer and session player as well, Robert Hall also has a great voice that was well suited for this song. I was very impressed with the caliber of musicians that Jerry has in his touring band and that the guys have been with his band for so long. Jerry's sister Linda Gail opened with a great set, very uptempo and very professional and personal with the audience interaction. Jerry came out and it was all business. Jerry did an uptempo set that was very efficient as in no delays between songs and no stalling around. It was great to hear some more obscure cuts of Jerry's that aren't always played live and the band was so tight you would think they just came off of a big tour with the Killer. Seeing Legends like this makes you remember just how professional and enjoyable live shows can be. There is no fancy special effects or auto tuning etc, it is just all about the music, raw music, and talent. I will take that any day, and Jerry delivered that in spades. When we left the show my thoughts were going back to wishing that there were more upcoming dates for him on the west coast to try to see unfortunately it only appears that there is a show later in that fall and it is in New York. If Jerry Lee comes to your area, I strongly recommend taking the chance to see him as he is one of the last true Legends from a great era of music that is still able to play at a high level.

It brought tears to my eyes to see how Jerry Lee has aged, but dang , Jerry Lee could still play a mean piano. I wish he wouldn't of played so many slow songs, that part of the show was boring. I wanted to hear his hit songs. Like Rock and Roll High School, Breathless, I was disappointed that he didn't play these songs. I was also disappointed in the crowd. When Jerry Lee played Whole Lotta Shaking Going On, and Great Balls of Fire, my sister and a few other woman were the only ones who stood up and danced. I'm assuming it was because the audience got bored with all of the slow songs he played. It was really cool to see that the audience consisted of ages 20ish to 80ish. It showed how Jerry Lee's music will live on and on. I really loved the venue, sound system rocked. But all in all it was a good show even though Jerry Lee didn't play more "Rock and Roll " . But I understand at his age it took alot for him to come out and do a show. It just showed that Jerry Lee still has rock n roll in his heart, and I admire him for that. God Bless you , Jerry Lee.... love you

It lasted about 50 mins and Jerry Lee Lewis was on only about 40 mins. The resort is very far away in the middle of no where.

Jerry Lee Lewis at 79 still knocks it out of the park. He does not stay on stage a long time ... his set lasted only a bit longer than 30 minutes ... but every second of that was packed with his amazing piano-playing and singing. His voice is voice is still strong and he belts 'em out.

This old guy scurries across the stage, sits at the Yamaha, opens his mouth and turns the clock back 50 years in an instant!! Sounded just like the Jerry Lee we've loved for 50 years...... How does he do it? Never missed a note. Never forgot a line of song. Couldn't get his foot up to the keyboard, but then neither can I anymore! His strong voice never quavered nor weakened. The front band was unforgettable. Those "old" guys could show this new generation a thing or two about chords, harmonics and togetherness on a stage. I wish my sister could sing like his... what a great group..... The venue/casino was superb. I've been to many arenas. Harrah's Rincon is one of the best. And cleanest...

Jerry Lee Lewis can still rock. The show was relatively short ( about 65 minutes), but well done. The band warms you up with Lewis's rockabilly style music for about 10 minutes, then Jerry Lee's sister and her daughter do another rocking 15 minutes or so. Jerry Lee's sister proves that great piano playing runs in the family. There's a short video about Jerry Lee and then he comes on and does the final 30 or 35 minutes. As expected, he doesn't do all his old antics at the piano, but the man can still really play, and his singing voice is still in pretty good shape. All in all a good show. Well worth seeing this legend in person.

I'm pretty confident that this was not the first chance I've ever had to see Jerry Lee Lewis, but for some reason, when I saw this concert announced I immediately knew that I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to see this legend perform in person. From that perspective alone, this show was worth going to, and I recommend seeing him primarily on that basis. The performance itself quite frankly wasn't great, though to be honest I was actually expecting worse. The first 15-20 minutes or so was a performance by his backing band, which included his sister and niece. After a short biographical video, The Killer himself came onto the stage, sat at his piano, and performed for probably 30-45 minutes. There wasn't much banter, which on one hand was disappointing but on the other was pretty impressive, since the pace of the show was fairly fast. Jerry Lee actually seems older than 78, which is just a few years older than acts like the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney, who still play with a lot of energy. But it's also pretty incredible to have the chance to see someone from that era of musical history perform live.

Although his voice is pretty much monotone now, he still plays a mean piano! For 77 years old, I enjoyed seeing a legend of Rock & Roll.

Sad to see the wild, crazy Jerry Lee Lewis barely able to walk. He definitely can still tickle the ivories! But you really had to be a fan of his from years past to appreciate the show.

He can still play a wicked piano, but he can no longer sing. People were walking out mid concert! His back-up band was great, it is great seeing a living legend, but it is time to give it up! He didn't say a word to the audience. Very cold.....

I felt so sorry for the legend. His voice is gone. He sounds older than his already advanced age. If I did not see the man right in front of me I would not believe it was him singing. I just get the feeling he is very tired and does not want to be there. I pray he is not being pushed into something he is not up for. His piano playing was good. I would suggest they put him on a revolving stage so he does not have to walk out; because, he obviously had a tough time getting there. We left the show four songs in. The first time I ever left in the middle of a concert. It just was not good.

Amazing Concert. He still has the ability to get the crowd on their feet, screaming and clapping! For his age he still has a clear voice and can sing his songs. Praying he is able to do more concerts so my husband, friends and I can attend!!!!
