Starting off their set with an energetic "16 days" Modern English did not appear to be a classic band from the eighties but rather a fresh and vibrant upcoming alternative band. Lead singer Robbie Grey's vocals were outstanding and strong along side the remaining original members Gary McDowell guitar, Michael Connors bass, Stephen Walker keyboard with the addition of Roy Martin on drums. The band performed several songs from each of their most popular albums, Mesh and Lace and After the Snow including Trees from their 2016 Take me to the Trees album and of course an Encore of "I Melt With You" which became a hit in the US from its heavy video rotation on MTV in early 1983. For fans who know Modern English it was a yearned nostalgic trip down memory lane and for those that didn't they will be searching for their music to rediscover them again.

This was my 5th time seeing Ben Howard live. My first show was absolutely unforgettable, and had me jonesing for more! But the last two performances I've seen have been wanting for sure, and this last one just fell completely flat for me. From guitar issues on stage, to an overall lack of energy and enthusiasm from Ben and the rest of the band, all I can say is... meh. Now a few words about the opener - Daughter. These guys were AMAZING!!!

His opening act, the Mastersons, who also played with the band, were a perfect pairing. Steve's voice was really good, much better than we expected, and the whole band was really hitting it. Very much enjoyed Steve's recollections and stories. So glad we went.

The amplification was such that it was difficult to discriminate the voice parts against the booming instrumental 'background'. The individual at the PA mixer must have confused the Mocedades with a hard rock band or else I cannot explain why one would adjust the decibel levels to the point of distortion. It ruined the concert for me, and so I went home and listened to the Mocedades on my home entertainment system.

Absolute perfection. Four geniuses interacting seamlessly fusing jazz with some twang and a bit of bluegrass and God knows what. Progressive music at its best. And they enjoy doing it it a humble artistic way.

Schooled from the late 80's LA hair metal days, LA Guns has been around for 25 years. I have seen them live 3x and they do not disappoint. Albums of theirs to check out are Cocked and Loaded, Tales from the Strip, Waking the Dead and Man in the moon.

Non stop laughs. Fantastic performance and totally worth the price of admission. I got to meet Piff and Mr Piffles after the performance and I even got to hold Mr. Piffles. I highly recommend. As a matter of fact I recommended to my friend in Orlando Florida and she is driving to Jacksonville to see him.
