My husband and I took our 3 grandsons ages 6,4&1 to opening night. It was a really good show. The seating was perfect and seemed to be good no matter where you sat. I noticed that the clown doesn't look like the clowns used to look probably because they scared some children. I thought that was a plus in that the guy just had a suit on. Acts were great, items for sale were a little too expensive but hey. All in all it was a great show.

I don't know where to start. the entire show was excellent. Also this time the elephants gave a better show. In the past they would only stand or sit. My daughter did miss the part where Melo the clown falls in love but she still loved the show. She is already excited about going next year. There was one part which really didn't interest me personally. That was the Qi Qi acrobats, somehow seeing them all tied up and too close to there swing boards took the excitement and the Awww out of it. But the silk artists and the clowns were great especially the female clown with the antenas.

It might be surprising to some how long it took me to see the circus, I was in my 20s when I saw it for the first time, in 2002. Better late than never I guess. Not sure why my parents didn't take me when I was young, that is usually when somebody makes their first visit. Loved getting a free photo before the show on top of a fake elephant, a nice way of remembering the show. I also liked getting a program there, so much to read in it about the history of the circus. I had read about PT Barnum in college, his auto-bio. I later saw the Shrine Circus at a different venue. I noticed there were animal rights protesters outside the venue, I said it was my choice to go and theirs not to.

Hero Circus? I mean really! It was some form of a horrible joke. Then I noticed how empty the seats where and realized why. I have 4 kids. Ages from 7 to 14 and not a single one of them enjoyed the show. It just didn't feel like a circus. Felt more like I was catching a show at Great Adventure only most of those shows are better. Maybe the circus is changing to try and keep up with the times and just not realizing they have lost site of why people love the circus. Why people go to the circus. After this show I will not go back. Not until I know they have returned to their roots because this show doesn't have the right to call itself the greatest show on earth anymore. It is like Skittles still calling themselves original even though lime is now green apple. It is no longer original. This show is no longer great. There are far better ways to spend your time and money. I do not recommend this to anyone.

How come you don't have the animals in your shows when you come to Atlantic City? That's what I come to see. I didn't like your last two shows. I hope the next time you come you have the Lions, Tigers.

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our evening at the circus. Tickets were a gift for my 13 year-old's birthday, and she invited her older sister and another friend. Three teens! Would they be entertained?! YES! What a terrific makeover the circus has had... just the right combination of laughs and daredevils and... trained camels?! :) Merchandise and food pricing is steep. I was grateful not to have children clamoring for mementos, because it would have meant a trip to the ATM. Don't miss this show!

We had front row seats in the lower level, thinking it would be a fantastic view. However there was 3 rows of VIP seating that were so close to the performers, we were unable to see any of the floor acts. The show itself was a disappointment too, due to the limited space. We attend Cole Bros Circus, under a tent, every year locally and that show is more exciting than seeing Ringling at Boardwalk Hall! For a fraction of the cost! I did not take pictures because every picture was lined on the bottom with silhouettes of people's heads.

We enjoyed this show. It took us away from gambling for a couple hours. PETA was protesting in front of Boardwalk Hall. It didn't put a damper on the show. The animals all looked healthy and happy. The crowd was into it. Nothing like leaving the circus and walking on the boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

I have to say I was a little disappointed in the circus this year. We usually take our 5 grandkids every year to see it and even they seemed disappointed. Where there is usually a 3 ring circus, this only had 1 ring. The clowns of course usually make the show and this year I wasn't feeling it. There were no tigers and a lot of the acts we normally see at the circus weren't there. Karate? Who wants to see that at a circus. Unless I'm missing something, I feel like everything including the before show was cut back. I wasn't a happy with it and neither were the little kids. What happened Ringling Bros?

Got tickets on sale which was great! Disappointed, I remembered the circus as having continuous action, there was so much down time and too much acting, like a boring play, that my kid couldn't sit still and was watching every where but the circle. The souvenirs were extremely over priced!! Would not go again. Our local circus is cheaper and better.

If you are older and have been to the Ringling Bros. Circus as a kid, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! The show is a joke and a total waste of time. The old days of a "three" ring circus are gone and there's one, containing a lot of so-so talent. There are barely any animals (small dogs, horses, 2 camels and 3 elephants...no more lions, etc), and the acts are laughable. I've seen better talent trying out for America's Got Talent. It's a shame that the show has gone so down hill. There are also young girls dancing around throughout the show and 3 unfunny clowns. I'd say go to the local circus that travels town to town in the summer months. It's a better show and more worth your time and money. Sad that a circus with such a longstanding reputation has lowered itself so such a bad show.

I loved the show. It was full of magical sounds, stunning performances and grand animal displays. If I could change anything, I would have had the ushers make people stay in their seat. People who sat almost ten rows in back of us moved down to the empty chairs and their kids kicked our seat the entire time and it was very annoying. I was frustrated that we paid more than them and they got to sit where they wanted with no consequences.

Overall, I found the show to be a great disappointment. Very expensive (especially considering advertised discounts were not applied) for a show that was average at best. I did get quite a laugh at the stuffed animal riding the pony. I'm guessing they ran out of dogs to ride the ponies.

I did enjoy if for the children, but I was disappointed. The circus does not seem as spectacular as it used to be. It was too short - not enough acts and the clowns should not have been the star of the show. Need to step it up. I will not be going again...

The circus was efinitely worth the trip. My girlfriend never went before and she absolutely loved it. The kids seemed to have a great time as well as the adults. The circus was only one ring which was a bummer but not too bad. There wasn't a lion or a cannon but altogether a great show. I wish it was even longer! The downfall is the prices on souvenirs and such when there. I paid $26 dollars for TWO snocones. Altogether great show.

We were seated in section 106 since we needed to add another seat; however, the view was terrible and not as good as section 107 would have been. Also, there were no clowns. The event was titled "Superheros" and that is what it was, but next time I will go to one more aligned with a traditional circus.

We have gone to the Ringling Bros Circus in downtown Atlanta for 12 years and always buy our tickets early to be close to the show. Ticket prices have gone down over the years, and yesterday we clearly saw the reason why - the show isn't what it used to be. The production of Built to Amaze was way too much dancing and cheering (cheerleaders at the circus??) and not enough substance. Even my kids, aged 14 and 11, were disappointed and said they don't ever want to go again. This is a tradition we have always looked forward to, but no more. The show lasted about 2.5 hours, less an intermission, and there just wasn't enough stuff. What happened to the years of the three ring circus where there was always something going on?? Even in recent years with the one ring and the filler, the clowns at least put on a good show. They added the basketball players on the unicycles this year, which was fun, and brought back the cannon lady and had a few other annual favorites, but we left feeling like most of what we saw was dancing. Not what you go to a circus to see. Even those with younger children around us, including first-timers, felt the same. There wasn't even a lot of clapping during the show like there used to be. Bring back the true circus entertainment and keep the audience on the edge of their seats, or ticket income will continue to drop.

My family and I just returned from a noon day performance at the circus and we were all sadly disappointed. We waited a long time to see this Circus as it has been years since we last saw one and today we all left with not such good memories. We were disappointed because: 1.) The music was too loud. We could not even hear the ringmaster introducing the different acts. By the time we left, which was before it all ended, we all had headaches. 2.) The concessions were much too expensive...cotton candy attached to a ridiculous hat $15? Really! 3.) There were not enough animals and too many gymnastics and cheerleading. 4.) Many of the acts were boring and lasted too long, like the unicycle basketball game, the 3 men on the trampoline, the doggie show etc etc etc. 5.) The tiger show was okay, the lady flying out of the canon was okay, the trapeze act was disappointing, 6.) and my favorite, the elephant show did not last long enough. One positive thing was ....the good seats. But then there are no bad seats in the Tucson Convention Center for any show. Thank you Tucson. I am sorry to say I will not be recommending my friends to attend this show. And I certainly will not be anticipating taking my family again any time soon. What ever happened to the old Ringling Brother's 3 ring circus. .I guess it is gone for good.

My daughter and I sat in VIP seating w/ the dinner. I wasn't impressed at all with the dinner. We had a (1) hotdog, a small bag of plain chips, and a (1) drink. I would think with the price of the tickets that we would be receiving a better meal. Other than that the show was awesome!! They also had a preshow which allowed the kids to be involved. If you're going make sure to get there early. We were there about 20 minutes early and the preshow was already going on. The music and sound effects were great, the stunts were out of this world, and the magic tricks were the best I've seen. They had everything...cats, dogs, lions, motorcycles, high wire, trapeze, dancing, instruments, and much much more! This was absolutely the best circus performance I've seen!!

I was afraid that my 3 year old son wouldn't appreciate the circus because I had been friends and family that he was too young. He had a great time, clapping and cheering with the audience. My only complaint is that it was too late at night for him. It was all that I could do to keep him awake to see the elephants and we left soon after missing out on many more acts. Maybe they could start earlier than 7:30. A 2:00 in the afternoon show is not convenient with my work schedule. Maybe I will have to work it out to try the earlier show. ANYWAY, we still loved the show!

We took our 2 and 4 year old to the circus and were really impressed. I went to last year's show and this far surpassed it. The elephants were the best...did lots of tricks! and the entertainment between stints (while they were setting up for the next thing) was great. A gymnastics element was added to the end (no motorcycles in a cage going in circles this year) and it was very impressive! There was also a human cannon this year but I missed that spot while taking a child to the bathroom. Both kids (and us adults) had a great time! If you are taking young kids, plan around naps and bedtime. The show lasts a good 2.5 hours. Well worth the money!

It had been years since I last attended the circus. At that time they has made three rings instead of one. Viewing all the rings wasn't fun. I would say more confusing. This time was much better. Enjoyed the use of the whole arena. Center was the focal point but the rest of the area was doing the same type of event. Also, kinda like a musical. Singing and dancing. Would highly recomend this new circus event. Not Just For Kids Anymore! P.S. Didn't have any choice of souvineers or snacks. Had them attached which made them very expensive, Would like to choose for myself.!!!!!

We took my 6 year old to the circus for the first time to see Fully Charged! She really had a great time!! Top notch entertainment! We got there early to visit the Animal Open House prior to the event. Also, they allowed people on the floor to meet the entertainers prior to the show. The only downside of the event was the protesters outside, but we were able to walk on the other side of the street away from it all. We did have to work hard to limit our child to picking only one item to buy as a souvenir for the event, since there were so many neat but expensive things surrounding her!

Very nice bright costumes, tigers & elephants were impressive. There were times when it was a little boring, in between events. Being on the circus floor was interesting, seeing the clowns and juggling acts up close before 7:30 was a first for us. Trapeze was missed. Cannon firing man at end was good! Could of used some doggie acts, with clowns. Tigers were GREAT. Horses were Average. We waited in a long line about 25 minutes after parking the car, & it had started to sprinkle on us. No one was allowed inside, which was a bummer.

My mom,Grandma and me went to this show yesterday.. so I have fresh memories :) We really liked show, but we were seating on Section 109... that's the worst seats possibly could be. it is not real circus, so it's not round, and they put some kind of "walls" , so you can not see show really good from this section... choose different seats ! But performance is really good !!! We loved acrobats, really small pony, guys who were jumping thru rings ring with knifes and fire! Enjoy the show !

It was a one ring circus. The music did not flow. They seemed to rely on two songs for the entire show: "Boob, Boom, Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas, and "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. There was no running theme. Everything seemed scattered. The pre-show was great for the kids. My daughter enjoyed it a lot. The last time I saw a circus was many years ago. I was sure the performance would improve in those years. I was very wrong. I was hoping Ringling Brothers would knock my socks off. They didn't come close. I give it 3 stars only because the pre-show for the kids was fun for me too.

I hadn't been to the Circus since I was a little kid... and that was in an actual circus tent. I took my 4 yr old daughter and she loved it. We had club seats in section #319 of the Honda Center. These seats were basically to the right of center ice/center court. We had a great view of the entire circus floor, especially the high wire acts. Ticket prices were only $25.00 (plus all the additional fees). Pros: lots of things going on the floor to keep my 4 yr old occupied. From the adult viewpoint, it reminded me of a Cirque de Solei vegas style show except with animal and magic tricks. Also, 1hr prior to show time you can go on the floor for pre-show stuff like Elephant painting, clown show, try on clown costumes. There is a 10-15min intermission after about 1 hr into the show (bathroom break...yes). Cons: bring lots of cash - Cotton Candy $12, Kettle Popcorn $6, Sodas $4.50/bottle, Sandwich w/ chips $9.50, Circus only once a year...priceless!

It has been forty years since I saw Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus. It was much better this time. The circus this time was a single ring instead of three and it makes it so much easier to focus and enjoy the show. I asked my 6 year old granddaughter what was the best part and she stared at me and started to speak and stopped and started to say something and stopped and thought and finally said ALL OF IT! That pretty well summed it up. My twelve year old granddaughter said it was the best day ever. Works for me.

I took my grandkids to the ringling bros..2 years ago in beaumont...they loved it because they had never been before. BUT, it was NOT the biggest show on earth...very small, I was disappointed. They had a long, long segment of a clown with a tiny bike. a few elephants and some horses. Not the biggest show on earth I remember...I enjoyed the small shrine circus better. Plus I didn't even get the seats I ordered.

Me and my family were very disappointed with this event, it was boring it wasn't "the greatest show on earth" at all, as they proclaimed. They were just killing time with the guy lifting stuff and the clown.

The show had my 5 year old captivated the entire time. The pre show was also entertaining & interacted with the audience especially the kids. Not enough clowns only 1 and no tigers like shown on website.

Was incredible for my little son!!!! We give to him as a gift for his 6th birthday. He was so happy and my husband and I enjoyed together the show. Great for family . The only thing they don't let use video camera inside !! You can't recorder anything but the rest was okay

I really enjoyed the show, especially the master of ceremonies high jinks. They featured a dog show where they jumped through hoops and bars. The acrobatics/gymnastics was great. The highlight for me was the elephant show; it is unbelievable how smart those animals are. The 3pm show did not feature any cats, i.e, the lions, but I guess they were feeding or asleep. Overall, it was a fun show.

The individual acts were all excellent. I was disappointed in the size of the show and missed both the booming voice of a circus master and multiple clowns. What was there was great....just not enough.

Great family, fun event. I was worried my family may have been too old, but everyone had a great time. We were impressed by how clean and well taken care of the animals were.

My Mother and I enjoyed the show very much. It had been a long time since my mother had seen the circus. Her father use to take her, brother and sister over to South Bend, IN only to see the animals unload and to set up the circus...Interesting enough, once upon a time a long time ago, Mr Bailey of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus stopped by my Mom's house for a visit...you see he was part of the family. That's why it was so important for me to take her to the circus. Thank you.

As I child I recall going several times to the circus in Madison Square Garden. The memories are unforgettable. Women standing on top of galloping horses, clowns all over the place, performers swing high up on the trapeze, caged big cats. What happend? Sunday I took my granddaughters to the circus here in Estero, Florida and it looks like the circus left town before we got there. What a poor performance! How many times did we need to see Dimitrius, the Incredible Ukrainian Strong Man? Once would have been enough.

Not the circus I remember from when I was younger. 1 Clown in costume and makeup. My grandaughter loves clowns very dissapointed that there was only 1. The animal performances were very good. Each act had it's own special moment, Not sorry that I went.

Tigers? Not here! Lions? Not here! Real high wire show? Not here. Lots of real clowns? Not here! Ten to Twelve bucks for a snow cone...... Fifteen bucks for cotten candy..... Ringling seems to have lost the sizzle!

My 5 year old granddaugther & I enjoyed the Barnum Bash Show however we were a bit dissapointed in not seeing more animal acts or clowns. I remember when the Ringling Brothers was "the" circus act to see but now it appears they blend in with the others run of the mill shows.

I was disappointed because there were no tigers or lions. I kept thinking the big great ending was coming but it didn't. Lots of cool people acts but the 2 guy comedy act that went on during the entire circus was annoying. For the $ I was expecting more.

Was not like it use to be! To small. To much dancing. The best part of the whole show was the old guy with the comedian. The elephants were great along with the other animals. Everything else was boring. I thought it would be like the old days when I went so I took my children, I was wrong. Would not recommend it. Sorry.

Great show but a little disappointing that there were not more clowns there. Kids relate circus with clowns. There was only 1 clown in the whole show. He did a good job, but missed a funny stint with a bunch of clowns like we are used to.

The circus lacked most things that I felt should be in a circus. They did have 2 short elephant acts, one horse act and a dancing dog act. The rest was filled with ridiculous weight lifting exhibit type displays and gymnastics that you could easily catch at a high school meet. There was a lot of "filler" that was just nonsense. I would NOT recommned this show. There was one "clown" who only MC'd a little bit...no clowns to speak of, no big cats, one short trapeze act, and just overall waste of time.

Your kids will love it. Eat before you go. Food selection is minimal, expensive, and not great. There were some slow parts but overall it was entertaining and 2 hours long which was a good length for my 5 yr old. She really loved the dancing, music, and animals.

I haven't been to the circus in years and was excited to take my daughter for the first time. She's two and yes she had a blast but there was no lions, no games, nothing that stood out. The money you pay... Not worth it at all.

The ringling bros. always provide a great circus! They were very good about the timing of the events. When they were switcing acts they were good about keeping your attention to other areas while they set up so the circus flowed nicely. The animals good in good condtion and had a good repour with the trainer.

Ringling Bros is by far the best circus of any of them and that is without a doubt. And living in Sarasota, we know our circus. That said, while this performance was excellent, it was not as good as the new year's eve show that i saw a few years back. This show seemed to have some temporary lulls in the circus before the next act. When I saw them before, they really didn't which just made it AMAZING. That said, this show is worth the money and your time. these guys are great! go see it! Features: good music, dancing, elephants, motorcycle riders in a cage, acrobatics on the monkey bars with his feet!

The hour before the show we were able to see the members of the show and take pictures. It was entertaining the entire time. The children I had with me Never Blinked. There was something for every age throughout the enter show. The $20.00 cost of upgraded tickets was well worth it. My only complaint is the cost of the cotton candy $10.00, yes it included a nice hat, but a 2 year old & 4 year old don't want to share.

The kids really enjoyed it because they had never been, but I have seen the 3 ring (original) Circus and it is more exciting. Also I thought they were going to do the trick with the big thing with a ring on each end, the guy runs in side and also on the out side and jumps from one ring to the other.
