This was the 3rd time I've seen Bloc Party. They're always great, but this time was extra special. I got to see them in my home state, and I managed to get there early and get in the front row center on the barrier where I watched the entire show from. Bloc Party played a great set, and even the opening band, Bear Mountain was a pleasant surprise. Scored Kele's setlist, and hung out afterwards to get it signed by both Kele and Russell.

The DumDum Girls shined! I think I almost liked them better than the headliners,Bloc Party. I was a bit confused in the moshpit that assembled during some more upbeat Bloc Party songs.... but none-the-less, there was an energy at this show that I havent felt in a while.

I love how charismatic they were. they came back for an encore after an amazing setlist. Even Kele said he has something wrong with his throat but ignored what they had told him, and sang more songs than he should've. This is the kind of bands you need to see live because of their quality playing live. Really Fun too!

I think they put on the best show I've ever seen. Even better than when I saw the Arctic Monkeys. They played so many good songs and actually looked like they enjoyed every minute of it. Kele was quite funny throughout the show and definitely knows how to work the crowd. Seeing Tongs in those tiny shorts is always hilarious as well. They don't just play their singles, they play off everything! Though I did notice not many songs off Intimacy. Oh well! Freaking amazing live!!! Do not miss them if they come near you! Io Echo was good too but their sound was turned waaaaay to high. Almost painfully loud and distorted.

Bloc party tore it up! Kelly and the rest of the boys really got into the music with the audience. Also it was cool to see one of the guys in a chiefs shirt, repping that hometown pride. I had a lot of fun and would go see them anytime that come to KU or Kansas City

This is my fourth time seeing Bloc Party. The first time I saw them in 2005, also at the Tabernacle, was one of the top five shows I have ever seen, period. My next two Bloc Party experiences were not nearly as strong; I got a sense from Kele that he was not that interested in performing, especially Silent Alarm material. I was not surprised when the band broke up a few years later. However, I love the revived Bloc Party. Four is a great album and back to the basic theme that made Silent Alarm such a groundbreaking album. This show this week was also mostly back to the old Bloc Party. There were moments when it looked like Kele was upset for one reason or another, and he did make a few mistakes throughout the show, but his attitude was back where it should be. When Kele is happy, Bloc Party is at their best and the audience is happy. The band really knows how to rock. Matt Tong is one of my favorite drummers of all time and he delivered as well. They are truly a sight to see and hear live, and I highly recommend them to others.

3rd time seeing bloc and they have gotten really tight as a band. Matt's drumming is amazing to watch. Kele brought good energy and his voice sounded strong. Sound mixing was spot on - loud, crisp, good high and low end. Good lighting and dramatic back drop. Choice tunes selected across all albums - even a b side off four and a cut or two from intimacy.

I thought it was a decent show. I certainly had a good time. I think the band wanted the crow to be rowdier. They played a decent amount of songs and even told us when they were going to play new stuff. Thier new stuff was pretty good to stay and listen to as well

Stood kinda far from the stage but Bloc Party always kicks ass live and the venue definitely caters to bringing fans closer to the stage. Only complaint is with the prices of drinks. It's ridiculous that 2 drinks cost me $20.

...they produce an excellent studio sound but are not a live band to add to the list of 'must see's'. The heavy drumming when produced well in a studio is excellent but in concert it tends to drown out the other the instruments. Likewise the lead vocals almost come across as wailing and shouting to compete.

Hands down one of the best live shows I've seen. The set was super long and the set list was legit. However, I think they should've released FOUR first before playing new, unheard tracks to a sold out show in NYC.

Due to some light drizzling and the associated technical delays, Bloc Party didn't make it on until 11:15 (after I'd been waiting nearly 90 minutes), but they gave a solid show after that. Santigold was strong as well.

The show was said to start at 8pm. Being a life-long concert goer, I automatically assumed a 30-45 minute wait time. OVER THREE (3.5) HOURS LATER, Bloc Party walked onstage and started playing. It was very hot, over 95 degrees (at 10pm!), and it was raining, BUT both Bloc Party AND Santigold gave one hell of a performance. Their music made all of us forget about the heat, the rain, and the ridiculous wait! Also, The Cosmopolitan is a great place to have a show. The bands play on a stage built over a drained pool and then there is a huge HD screen where the performers can be seen from the Strip! All in all, it was a great show. I loved both performers even though I was mostly there for Santigold. :)

It almost didn't happen! Damn Cosmo does not have a covered area where the band can play so the mild rain and lightning delayed the show by MANY hours. Santigold was cancelled and Bloc Party performed their set. At the end of Bloc Party's set, it was announced that Santigold would come perform after all. It was not a full band as it seemed her original set-up was going to be. It was some guy working a keyboard/mixer DJ style, 2 awesome back-up dancers/singers, and Santigold. Due to standing for 4 hours before the show and approximately 2 hours for the show, my feet are still sore 3 days later.

The show started over an hour late due to the rain. Bloc Party played first because it was raining too hard for Santigold to perform. They both brought so much energy despite the heat, the rain and the humidity. It was an amazing show!

This was by far the worst concert experience I have ever had. I bought tickets specifically to see Santigold, and arrived a half an hour before doors to make sure we had a good spot. The Boulevard Pool is an outdoor venue, and inside signage was extremely poor to help concert goers know where to line up to get in. Doors did not open until more than an hour after the designated time and there was NO one to ask what was going on. Once we finally got out there we realized that there was a bit of rain causing a delay. Why didn't anyone tell us?????? Then, after waiting approximately another hour in the rain, watching roadies cover and uncover equipment, a wimpy voice comes over the microphone to say that Santigold will not be performing. By that time, my patience had worn thin. Thinking that the reason I bought the tickets was not going to perform, i left. Later I discovered that she ended up playing after all. Very disappointed in the way that Cosmopolitan handled this event, and will think long and hard before buying tickets to a show there again. I wish I could get my money back.

Doors didn't opened an hour late. The bands were 3 hours late. Supposedly it was a rain delay but I felt a grand total of 3 rain drops the whole time we were waiting. We were ready to ask for a refund. But finally the bands came out and they were incredible! Bloc Party started it off with amazing energy and santigold (who I was so stoked to see) delivered one of the greatest performances ever not to mention her back up dancers! I loved the show!

Went to Vegas for the weekend with my boyfriend to see his favorite band play a show at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Doors were suppose to open at 8 p.m., but was postponed for more than an hour due to rain. After finally letting us in, we had the best place to be able to watch them....in the very front and center! Due to rain, the show didn't start until past 11 with the opening act being canceled. After waiting some more for their instruments to be prepared, Bloc Party's intro finally came on and the crowd was hyped. Then the speakers seemed like they were going to blow and the music was quickly shut off....what a tease! After 4 long hours, they finally got on stage and killed it! I loved every minute of it and was worth all the waiting and even enduring the drizzle and humid Vegas weather! I still can't get over how great the show was! Wish they played an encore. Bloc Party is one of the best bands in today's music industry!

Ezra Furman and his band the Boyfriends were spectacular. Although they were the opening act, they were the highlight of the show. Great musicians playing great music with great lyrics. Discovered a sick punk rock band in Ezra Furman! Mould rocked out! & Bloc Party was amazing. Los Angeles crowds can suck, they don't dance till it's a commercial song & box seats never stood. Whatevs the venue wasn't made for punk rock, no room for a mosh pit, but it was still fun.

Bloc Party were fantastic. Kele Okereke was really engaging with the crowd and really got everyone moving. They played a great set: a good mix of old hits and some good new songs. And after closing with what has normally been their encore set, they came out for one more song, unexpectedly.

The Fillmore is a great venue...definitely one of the best I've ever been to. Bloc Party was very good. While their set was great, it could have been longer...it was very short. MS MR was better live than recorded, though all their songs are pretty much exactly the same just at different speeds.

Bloc Party is my favorite band of all time and the Fillmore is quickly becoming my favorite venue in Philadelphia. It's spacious while still feeling intimate and great for all kinds of shows. From an acoustics perspective, it's much more enjoyable than the Electric Factory where everything feels too loud, and the bar area up front allows you to talk to people without screaming over the band while still being able to hear the music. Bloc Party was fantastic as they always are. I'm not a huge fan of their new album, however their song choices off the album were limited to the top 4 or 5 best. The rest of the music was the classics that I wanted to hear off of Silent Alarm and Weekend in the City. Personally I think Bloc Party has the type of fans that want to hear more than 16 songs at a concert, and I wish they would have one opening band and then do two sets of about 26-30 songs, but I can see that getting a bit exhausting for Kele to sing that much night in and night out.

I've been a fan of Bloc Party since Silent Alarm in the mid 00's. I hadn't ever had a chance to see them live but this show was definitely worth the wait. The venue was a good size and I was able to get pretty close to the stage in the GA section. I watched the opener from farther back, and there are really a lot of good viewing spots in this venue, even for a petite concert goer like myself. Bloc Party brought a ton of energy and played a wide range of songs from all their albums. I expected this to be a tour promoting "Hymns" so I was surprised that they only played a few tracks from that, focusing instead on Silent Alarm and Four. My only regret is that they didn't play a longer set!

I'm not going to lie, I went to this concert entirely for The Vaccines. I'm a huge fan of them and Bloc Party was just a bonus. I was not expecting an opening band, since I thought The Vaccines were opening for Bloc Party, but Oscar was so good I just found a new album & artist to love and hope to see in concert again. I was lucky enough to get to be in the front and it was amazing being so close for my first concert. Oscar was amazing, the vaccines has an awesome stage presence and they played all the songs I hoped they would and more, and then Bloc Party was awesome too with tons of energy and confetti. Great venue and great bands!

So AFAIR this is this 5th time I've seen them play & yet again they did NOT disappoint. Nice smattering of songs from all albums. Plenty of energy both on and off stage & sound was very good. HOB is a nice small venue (the smallest I've seen them in) so you definitely felt a good connection & could see perfectly. The sound wasn't too loud. The band was had very little energy except for the lead singer. I don't think it was a very good set of their music. They came out for a second encore. I don't even think they played good enough to come out for the first one. A lot of songs I was hoping to hear bud didn't. Maybe they played them on the second encore but I wasn't waiting around. I am a long time bloc party fan and this was the third time I have had the opportunity to see them live. The first two shows were in their native England, so I was ready for a bit of a let down seeing them here in the States. I was pleasantly surprised as Kele and co. put on another great show.
