Had a really good time at this show. It was amazing having original band members joining in. Felt and sounded just as it was 25 years ago. Thank you Berlin!

I was a bit cautious from all the reviews of this venue. But It was a amazing experience. From the entrance to the show . . . exceptional service throughout. The Romantics where very good . . . and Berlin was just Amazing.

My special Lady friend Diana and I had the pleasure of attending the Berlin show at the Canyon Club on Saturday the 9th of December. it was a surprise for Diana since Terri and Berlin are her FAVORITE musical artists EVER. it was for our anniversary and Diana did not know until we were at the hotel across the freeway that we were going to the show that night. A good friend of mine - Daryl - is the sound guy for Terri and he was able to arrange it so that Diana got on stage during one of the songs later in the set. Terri and the band were great as always. They covered a few songs; including seasonal christmas tunes and Terri went out among her fans on the floor; hoisted on the shoulders of her husband i think. it was a great show and i will watch Terri and the band again if i am lucky

Amazing show, Terri and the band were wonderful. She really knows how to work a crowd and she's never sounded better. The sound was really good, not too loud. Loved every minute of it.

Terri Nunn was great, although to say this was Berlin is a stretch. I doubt the bandmembers were born when Berlin was at its peak. She sang and played to the crowd well, and came across as a lead singer that wanted you to have fun and put on a good show.

It was a fun show, better than most of the 80's band concerts I've seen lately. People who got there early got wristbands and got to dance on stage with the band during one of the songs ("Touch"). Terri also got off the stage and walked down one of the aisles. She has already taken her heels off so she stood up on one of the chairs in the aisles. Terri looked and sounded great. The sound for the guitar and keyboards was a little too low and the drums too loud, but other than that a great show that I wish went on a little longer.

I watched Berlin in concert in October 1986 at UOP in Stockton, Ca. This performance drew me back to those great memories.

Never a disappointment, Berlin brought many faves as well as a continuing output of new material.

Berlin was most excellent, I honestly couldn't have expected any better! Terri was very engaging and interacted with the audience a lot, by the end of the show she had everyone up and dancing. Terri even danced on the tables and walked through the crowd-- at one point she personally sang to me! It was incredible. They're fun to watch and had a great mix of old hits and some unheard new songs. I would definitely see them again!

Terri Nunn was amazing...she looked great and sounded phenomenal! She was great about interacting with the audience....loved that she came out into the audience and made contact. The music took me back to my younger days and I really enjoyed seeing Berlin live. I saw them live in a small venue in the early 1980's in Indianapolis and I think this performance was just about as great as then. We are all just a little more mellow now. Terri---keep it up, we love you!

The show was great! Berlin always put on a good show and Terri Nunn voic is amazing she sounds just as good as she did twenty years ago. I don't think I'll ever get tierd of hearing her beautiful voice :) every chance I get I'll go watch their show... good times man good times :)

Excellent! Terri Nunn still has the pipes, her vocals were crisp, dynamic and just spot on . The band provided plenty of bite as the hometown crowd fed off of their high energy playing. Strange though, there was no bass player. The set consisted of a good selection of both old and new songs. Maybe the best concert I have seen this summer! Nothing beats seeing one of your favorite 80's bands in a small venue.

What can I say? Terri is simply an ARTIST always amazes & surprises her loya fans!!

fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Terri Nunn's responsiveness to her audience is unbelievable, her stage presence is ginormous, and the way she and her band work together to create a show is the way it should be done. they don't need props, but unlike so many other bands out there, you're never left feeling like it was great music....but that's all it was. The band plays together...and PLAYS together - flirting on appropriate songs making the lyrics that much more powerful and unforgettable. Terri rocks, she shares personal stories to make the audience feel included in her life, they share photos of the band going back to childhood, and Terri both goes out among the audience singing and invites the audience onstage to sing with her, so that when she sings more personal lyrics, you are right there in the emotion with her. This is music and showmanship at its finest!

Had a great time as usual. Berlin is the one band I have seen the most in my concert going days. Terri Nunn always puts on a great show. If you want to have a good time, go see them.

The opening bands were pure torture...but once Berlin hit the stage, the time flew. We had the best seats in the house, right under that guitar player. And now i'm a little smitten by that guy. The band played a cover of Dope Show and Ordinary World, and i love those songs now more than ever because of their rendition. First time at the coachhouse, but now, not the last.

The show was fun. The band sounded amazing. The Coach House in San Juan is truly a great venue for a concert. The best part was when Teri Nunn (spelling?) invited the audience members on stage to dance with her.

Teri Nunn was awesome. I was completely blown away by how good her vocals still are. I had an awesome time. Fantastic!!!

love coming to showcase great place to see a show. berlin sounded awsome we sat right down front . only problem i had was ticket said show was at 8pm show did not start till after 9pm. never said there was an opening act. 4 stars

First time seeing berlin and seeing a concert in Ojai, both didn't fall short of fabulous

Once again Terry and the boys knock it out of the park Terry just seems to be getting better and better she knows how to connect with her audience

A great 80's act that remains fresh live. Iconic songs delivered with honest energy and passion after 3 decades intertwined with new material that shows growth while clearly the work of Berlin. I will see them again when they are in the NY/NJ area. They finished the show with a spot on cover of the Jefferson Airplane classic "Somebody To Love"

If you read my blog on a regular basis you know I ve been seeing a lot of artists from the 80s and 90s. This time it was Berlin. Terri Nunn is the only original member of the group. She looked and sounded great. Often these groups do not age well or sound quite as good as they did in their heyday. It was nice to see that she had taken good care of herself and her voice over the years. At one point during the show Terri came out into the crowd by sitting on the shoulders of a security guard as he walked around the floor. It felt like a short set, but they got in all of their hits The Metro , Take My Breath Away , Sex , No More Words , Dancing in Berlin . They even performed some of their newer songs and debuted the video for Animal .

Great music for me being a 50 year old nostalgic music lover, and my 21 year old daughter surprised her old dad liked some music she could get into. The shock factor to my daughter was worth the tickets, and being a smaller venue makes it even better

Bought tickets last minute to surprise my wife who loves Berlin. Wasn't sure what to expect. These guys rocked for 90 minutes without a break and sounded as good or better than they did 25 years ago. Terri Nunn sounded and looked amazing while giving a very entertaining performance. She also did a meet-and-greet with anyone who wanted to after the show. My wife actually got a chance to meet and speak with one of her idols. Great job Terri, Berlin, and Thunder Valley!

Terri Nunn made the concert a party for everyone with audience dancing on the stage and all her great hits.

The drummer for the Romantics was really great. He was so funny with his antics up there. He is charismatic and he was the show. He is a Keith Moon style guy for real. I have seen more than 250 concerts so I think I have a data base to compare to. The drummer for the Romantics was alot of fun during the show. I thank them for traveling to Northfield. Terry Nunn was also really great of Berlin. She gave off a very real fun persona. All of the songs of both bands were very good. Good music no matter if you have ever heard it before. I would see them both again, thank you.

Great show and handling of fans. Easy to get a drink and get to restrooms. Courteous staff and just an overall great time!

The Romantics were good at their old hit songs (2 or 3) but they were so loud you couldn't understand the lyrics. The band Berlin with Terri Nunn was after the Romantics and it took 30 minutes to set up the stage with their equipment. Terri Nunn was hard to understand and not very entertaining. I was disappointed and will not pay for another concert with this group.

The Romantics were great. Berlin was fun but the guitar was so over modulated that you could hardly hear Terri sing. You couldn t actual hear much music either as the noise was awful.

Top notch performance by both bands also met the lead singer of the Romanics

Loved Terri Nun and Berlin. She's very talented still rocks out at 56 yrs old!! So happy to see them. Missed part of Romantics but what a saw was fun.

Teri Nunn is still an amazing singer and performer!!! their set was amazing :) I was lucky enough to be one of the fans on stage to dance with the band to Dancing in Berlin! the best thing about the venue is that it's small, so every seat is great! Being in a mall, the parking is free and ample. The wait service, however, was not up to par. But, I would absolutely go back to the Canyon Santa Clarita for another show.

Berlin sounded great! The venue itself is very nice; it's great to finally have a place in town to see live music of this caliber, however the service/staff was very unorganized and have some bugs to work-out. After being seated, it took almost 40 minutes for someone to come to the table and ask if we wanted anything to drink or eat. Once we ordered and the food came (warm at best) we noticed there there were no utensils, so it took another 10 minutes to get the attention of one of the staff members. After we finished eating, our plates and glasses sat at the table for well over an hour, maybe longer (the booth tables are kind of small and there were four of us) again I had to get the attention of the staff to clear the table; they took the plates but left the empty glasses and never came back... We were there from 7PM to 11 when the show ended; during that entire time, only once did a waiter/waitress come to our table. It's not that I expect to be waited on hand & foot, nor do I mind going to the bar to get a drink or two, it's just that when you pay for a table and the policy is you must order food and spend $25 per person at a table, you'd expect the table service to be a little more attentive. I will be back, but like I said, they have some bugs to work out as far as service/staff... I need to say the bartenders were great.

I loved the size of the event and the way it s set up. I also liked the concept of dinner/concert and the food was really good. The biggest problem was the sound, it was way too loud. I ve been too many concerts as a spectator and as a musician - that was probably one of the loudest one. Louder is not better, it makes the sound distorted and my ears are still ringing after 3 days...

So much to say, so little time. The Tables are a Scam and well, it appears you can come late enough not to get soaked for their terrible food. Was sitting at a Table, with an unspecified "restricted view" alone until later in the evening when the table filled up long after the "7pm Requirement" and I was ticked. Had I known this, I would have skipped the lousy first bands and come later myself. Getting to Berlin - she was sensational as always and well, the band is tight although there was a very irritating sound problem again the fault of the venue. Ms. Nunn is engaging and did two jaunts out into the audience while singing. I recommend getting there for her, skipping the horrible food and enjoying her sensational performance.

Berlin was awesome!! The Cave in Big Bear was a really nice venue to attend. I will definitely attend another concert there!!!

This was our first time at this venue. This is a very nice small personal venue with great drinks and staff! And of course Berlin was amazing as usual!!!!!

These musicians played as enviable euro trash rockers inspiring an excitement that caused most to dance like no tomorrow. The Cave's tiered venue is cozy and friendly. And, Big Bear was truly an erotic city that night driven by hard rock dance music like no one's business. This band plays their old tunes like they still have something to prove! But really they do not........... Rock and Roll hall of fame stuff.

Great venue except for the way over priced beer & wine. Terri still sounds as good as ever & we loved David Diamond coming out to play. Really good show!

Terri Nunn is always personable will the audience, making the event evening very enjoyable.

Berlin was excellent! She was in great form! And the Libbey Bowl is a wonderful venue! It was fantastic all the way around!

Terri Nunn of berlin was ana awesome show in Ojai. She rocked and looked awesome so happy we went to see them. Plus we got to dance on stage with her!

I have to admit I'm pretty skeptical of 80s bands heading back out on the road as mere shadows of their former selves. Quite a few 80s bands should remain retired and let us remember them when they were still great. Terri Nunn and Berlin definitely don't fall into that category. I had read a few reviews with comments that Terri's voice was still pretty good after all these years. OK, so that was an understatement! For a woman of 55 to be belting out vocals like she did at the new HOBs last Friday night was simply awesome. Not one note missed, timing was solid and she engaged the audience like few lead singers can. Being all of 10 feet from the stage only made the night that much better! Kudos to the rest of the band also. Excellent drumming from start to finish, great keyboards and having David Diamond join in the fun was just icing on the cake. This show was so much more than I was expecting!

The cover band Terry Nunn was so bad we left the concert. We waited for Berlin but 10 songs in from Terry and that was enough. The concert was supposed to start at 7:30 pm we didnt get inside till 8:30pm. So everyone waited in life that wrapped around the building.

Teri Nunn looked fantastic and sounded amazing!!! Also, she was incredibly gracious. She came out into the audience and had wonderful energy. The music was better in person than the recorded versions. The band was tight and polished. One of the best concerts I've ever been too. The intimate venue made it all the better. I wouldn't hesitate to go to The Rose again or see Berlin!

Berlin never disappoints ... I only wish I knew where Dave Stone probably threw an after-party for them. hmmm... The first time I saw Berlin was in 1989 at West Virginia University. :-)

Awesome venue. Incredible singer and band. She still has the voice. The house was standing a good portion of the concert. She even took the time to come out a little while after the concert and meet with her fans and sign. She even took the time to talk to me as we share same last name. For those of you who havent seen Berlin and Terri. GO!!!

This could have been an amazingly great performance, but was completely over shadowed by poor, deafening loud, and distorted sound quality. I tried relocating my seat but this did not help. I had to leave after the third song to protect my hearing and sanity.

This is my sixth time attending a Berlin concert in two short years. This was the best performance of them all. Terri Nunn is incredible and still puts on an amazing show as she did in 80s. I loved her remake version of Take my Breath Away.

From the time the group walked on stage, until the time they walked off, there was no stop in the music, the energy and joy on everyone's face Seeing Terri Nunn walk out and take control of the place was unbelievable Her voice and stage presence made for a wonderful experience, singing the old material like it was yesterday, while her new songs made you want more Her band was on the mark as they went from song to song keeping the audience bouncing in their seat or dancing in the isles The music, the voice and the energy made for a fantastic evening

Motels opened up for Berlin.It was a real treat to watch Martha Davis sing. She sings beautifully! Her music is very eclectic: rock, bluesy, and jazzy. It was cool that she played her old stuff. She sang a lot of new stuff, which sounded really good. We'll definitely buy her new album when it comes out (in June?). Wish she performed more often! Berlin rocked! Wow! Terri Nunn can sing! She has such a good voice! She performed very well. It was cool that she sang a couple of Christmas tunes 'cause she can handle the high notes! She lit up the dark stage with her pretty red dress. She was very appreciative of her audience. Martha Davis and Terri Nunn are definitely worth watching (not just for their good looks)!

I would recommend Berlin to my friends; however, I would recommend NOT seeing them at the Saban Theater. The average rating is due to the location. The acoustics were horrible. The lyrics were garbled. Hard to understand lyrics to songs I didn't know. I really liked their version of holiday music. Terri's voice is just incredible.

This was a first for me seeing BERLIN in concert and they were FANTASTIC. This is one of two performers that my companion would rave about and after seeing them perform I can see why.

Loved the intimacy of the venu and the bar set up. No long lines to wait for a drink. It was great to get the surprise that Terei Nunn got the original band members of Berlin to play a few sets. She does an awesome performance as usual! Love her!

Terri looked amazing and sang wonderfully. A couple of unusual things happened during the concert: Terri showed her 1976 screen test for Star Wars. She was trying out for the roll of Leia. About a third of the way into the show, her touring band was joined by four members of the original Berlin. (David Diamond, John Crawford, Matt Reid and I forgot the fourth.) For the rest of the show different combinations of touring and original members played together depending on the song. They served David Diamond a cake and sang Happy Birthday. Terri sang a couple of Christmas Carols and said Berlin would have a Christmas Album next year. They ended it with everybody singing High Way to Hell. This is the fourth time I ve seen Berlin in concert, it was by far the best.

Fantastic opportunity to experience legendary BERLIN!! The venue is intimate and the atmosphere is ideal to stare genius in the face !! Terri and group were tight and this place lets them shine like a beacon!! When they return, I will be there for second helping !! Thanks for a great show!!

Terri nunn from Berlin is so cute! I can't believe at her age, which she doesn't even look, can still rock! She sounds amaZing! The canyon in agoura is such a perfect venue for up close and personal. So many great close ups!

Terri Nunn looked awesome. Sexy, hot and entertaining. Incredible voice and a true inspiration to fans. Thanks for remaining a classic artist and not following main stream trends and fashion. One unforgettable experience. I've seen her concert 6 times in 2 yrs and it just gets better every time.

Berlin played in Big Bear at "the cave" Terri Nunn was awesome like she always is. Her band behind her is just as good. The venue sound is very good. But the food that they serve could be alot better. Very nice place holds about 500 people? will see her again on her next swing to So Cal. 1-10 rating for the band 9. the only issue I have is I think the set could have been a little longer. They played for about 75 minutes

Terri Nunn sings her heart out. The band sounds fantastic. Terri has an amazing rapport with her audience and seems happy to be there. I love seeing this band and am looking forward to seeing them again this summer at the OC Fair. This was my first time seeing a concert at the Cave and would definitely go there again. If you go, splurge on box seats. If you can't get them, then get the reserved seats on the mezzanine or the tables in the back.

Wow! At 54 Terri Nunn sounds better than ever! She is full of energy and Berlin was stellar. I'd run to see them again.

Terri Nunn was so great in concert. She has so much energy! I wouldn't really call the band Berlin. All the rest were just young musicians. The venue was great because it's so small. Every seat is good. The Cave in Big Bear. Terri was very personalable, shaking hands, touching hands singing to people. Even came out in the crowd on someone's shoulders! Loved her!

The music was on the mark - the vocals were perfect - Terri worked the crowd shaking hands singing out in the isles and worked the stage I saw the reunion of Berlin on VH1 and was pleased to hear the Ms Nunn took it a step farther and started going out and keeping the songs alive She's and amazing talent and her voice, I could listen to it forever, such a range

Wow, just wow.. Berlin can still rock it, and Terri Nunn is amazing. That girl can sing. They put on a great show.

why can't Portland get real rock talent??? Show was sad... A real rock show should pack the place... instead Portland has a BLUES FEST...SUCKS

Great show, lots of Berlin hits, and even some Christmas songs thrown in! Terri looks fantasitc, and can belt out the songs with passion! Must see show at a great price.

Berlin is a very audience interactive show that leads to fun, fun fun!

The show was AMAZING she sounds amazing just like she did back in the day.... The venue is awesome what a great time!

Venue was changed to The Cutting Room. Doors were to open 10pm & show start at 10:30pm. Instead doors open 10:30 & they let people in by small groups so it took 20-30 minutes for all to get in. Warm-up band was local + not my taste, but to see Berlin, no problem sitting through. Speaking of warm, in the main stage area it was at least 10 degrees hotter than the large bar section closer to the entrance. Warm-up band went off circa 11pm, but Berlin didn't go on until midnight or just after. By the time they finally started I had had enough of the heat & went to the cooler area much further from the stage. I only stayed for 30 minutes of the show because the view from where I was was very limited, the big screen they were showing the stage performance was mostly out of focus, & the heat had taken its toll. I've seen Berlin twice before on Long Island & they were great shows & I have all their recordings; including Terri Nunn's solo work.

This was much better than the last time they were here, not because of the band, but because she asked the venue to let us dance in the isle & in front of the stage. It was way better than last time being confined to our seats like robots.

They played a reasonable amount of time for the price of the tickets. I really enjoyed the show and Mrs Nunn walking the audience.

Terri always tries to add a little something new with each gig she does and this show did not disappoint me : )

Terri is unreal, her voice is outstanding. This venue cannot contain her voice nor can the speakers. We sat in front of the Canyon Club speakers, not advised, she kept hitting high notes that just weren't coming through. Would see her anywhere, too bad it was like putting a tigress in a Canary cage.
