Bob Nelson

Bob Nelson was good but with the exception of Melvin George the show was lame! As a long time fan of Bobs, Fluff was the name of the game. Fill in comedy was not comedy. No one laughed at the girl dressed like a man.

comics were not funny, Bob had some funny moments, but over all is was bad

Overall, this show was just ok. The acts before Bob Nelson were not very good at all. The skit with the female comic was absolutely annoying. Bob Nelson was funny as he always is but the acts before were so dragged out that I actually wanted to leave. Im glad I stuck it out, but night could've been better without the starting acts, and if Bob Nelson appeared by himself!

One word...awful. Bob was ok but I would have liked to see some new material. The other comics were fair. The girl was terrible and her act was only offensive,not a joke in sight. We were disappointed.

This comic genius has been doing it better than anyone else for over 30 years ! If you like classic slapstick comedy with the best original hair brain personalities Bob Nelson is your man !

venue was pretty empty, management should have allowed us to sit comfortably elsewhere in venue instead of all on top of each other with no space for legs, coats, purses, cocktails. 1st comedian was so so and kept promoting how great he was, should have let us decided that on our own especially since his act needs work. To say, "I don't usually open up", was disrespectful to the other comedians. Bob and Rain (?sp) were GREAT!!! wish they were up longer. tx, c

We saw Bob in the 90's and knew taking our 9 year son to see him he would love him. Bob was fantastic and even stop to talk , take a picture and sign a DVDs. Can't wait to see him again.He was great we loved him.

MC of the show not that funny but Mike Jacobs and Bob Nelson were great...very funny...excellent venue...would visit to see another show again anytime.

Bob Nelson was great. He still has it! I loved the stories about what inspired him and some of his bits.

It was a pleasure to see Bob Nelson again and hope he will be performing again soon. "Jiffy Jeff "had me laughing until I cried and who doesn't love "Eppy Epperman". The emcee and the other 2 comedians (sincere apologies for forgetting their names at this moment) were so funny and entertaining. It was wonderful to see a comedy show that we would bring our son to (next time). It's just great to go out and spend an evening forgetting all the stresses of the day and LAUGH. Bob is right, laughter truly is the best medicine.

We had a great time at the show. Bob Nelson was hilarious with toms of new material! My face hurt for days from laughing. Highly recommend seeing him !!

This was my first trip to twin river and catch a rising star.. The local comedians who preceeded Bob were funny and entertaining and then Bob just stam the door on the laughs for the reminder of the night.. I will definitely go back to the comedy club again... The talent at this show was great...

I've been a fan of Bob's since first seeing him on HBO back in the 80's with Rodney Dangerfield. Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne Barr and Sam Kinison were all on the show but Bob was the only one who made us cry because we were laughing so hard. It was my understanding that he would be performing in Branson from now one and was disappointed that I wouldn't get to see him live....and then I saw he was going to be at Mohegan Sun at the Cabaret Theater(which I love)on May 14th, 2011. I took a friend who had never seen him before and she adored him. Again.....I laughed so hard I started to cry. Yes he does the same routines as before(but there were a few new things)but he really does like to make his audience happy. I even bought a DVD from his website. Thanks Bob!

I have been a fan of Bob Nelson since first seeing him on the tonight show. His show at Mohegan Sun was fantastic! His connection to the audience, larger than life presence made the night fantastic fun, I would see him again in a heartbeat.

I am 26 and enjoyed Bob. He is an older comic but still kept me laughing. He doesn't curse which is rare in stand-up. I would see him again.

I saw Bob Nelson 15 yrs ago and he is as funny if not funnier today! He is clean, energentic, and amazingly talented! Everyone should see one of his shows!!!

I would highly recommend seeing Bob Nelson to anyone! He was so funny and very "clean". You do not need to curse to make people laugh and he is one of those kind of comedians. He did some new stuff and of course the football skit. Had a great time!

I've loved watching Bob Nelson for years. I was thrilled to see him in Boston and as usual I am never disappointed. He was fantastic to watch and I would recommend anyone to see him.

We saw Nelson about twenty years ago. He was equally as funny and innovative as he was then. The fact that Nelson stays away from using profanity was not lost on us. Nelson proved that you don't have to resort to blue language to get a laugh. His mannerisms and expressions are fantastic. And he has mastered the intonations of his numerous characters. Well done Nelson; hope you are around in another twenty years.

Bob Nelson is a must see - for all ages. Good clean humor and oh, so funny. Even the old routines, football and Jiffy Jeff, don't get tiresome. I wish I could see him more often and bring all my friends and family! You should too!!!

Really enjoyed the show. It is so refreshing to have Old School humor. Enjoyed his stories of working with some of these great comedians. Especially of Red Skelton and Rodney Dangerfield. My husband and I brought my daughter and her boyfriend to the show. They did not "grow up".. to say with Bob during his prime years, and had not heard of him. They both loved him. I must say that laughter is truly the best medicine. Great job Bob!!

What an amazing show. Bob had me laughing from start to finish. Not only is he an incredibly funny comedian, he is also a really nice guy. He took lots of time to greet fans after the show, signing autographs and posing for pictures. It didn't matter if you were buying one of his DVDs or not, he was still willing to take the time to talk and take pictures. Of course, all three of us bought a dvd each. How could we pass up a great deal like that? Best show I've been to in a long time.

This was great comedy by an experienced comedien. I took my wife and teens(18) and (13) and they all laughed like crazy. Nice to see some comedy that doesn't have to have cussing the whole way thru to try to be funny!

Incredible performance. So many characters are displayed by Bob Nelson. His expressions to go along with the multiple characters are priceless. Without a doubt the best comedian in the U.S. today. Love his Bozo the clown hairdo opening act right up to his Babishka bit final"e". Excellent performance!!
