I've seen him several times and he never disappoints. The audience was very into him and his music and he clearly appreciated it. His band is incredible. The bassist had soul, the keyboardist had groove, the drummer was funky and Keb was warm and seemed to have a good time along with the rest of us. I'll see him every time he's in the area. He's THAT good!!!

As always, Keb Mo puts on an entertaining show that reflects his kind heart and soul paired with his (and his band's) amazing musical talents. When you see Keb expect to be impressed by his vocals and guitar playing while you also are impacted by his thoughtful lyrics. I have seen him before and I will see him again.

A master musician who had us dancing in the aisles. His music and his story telling combine to give you a "full body" experience touching the heart, soul and mind. His backup band were excellent, especially his keyboard, harmonica playing side-kick. If you're not familiar with Keb Mo' and you like blues mixed with many other genres don't miss out the next time he's in town.

It was a very chilly night at the Zoo ( as Keb noted!) but this year he was more jazzy and uptempo than in past shows. The energy made up for the weather and as usual his good humor and baner was a hit with everyone. Another good show from a long time friend of the Zoo.

What a wonderful evening.......three hours with Keb Mo and his very talented band!!!! He's a very warm and unasuming individual that expressed his appreciation for allowing us to be entertained by them. He's funny and seemed very much at ease with everyone.....even speaking directly to people in the audiance. Very engaging, made us all feel special. His music and performances speak for themselves.......his concerts are always sold out within hours of going on sale. I'm only sorry we weren't able to purchase more tickets and it would be GREAT if he would be here more than once a year. He's my favorite entertainer!!! Keb's music appeals to all of my moods.....happy, sad, mellow and in a party mood. I hope he continues to write songs and perform for many years to come. The first time I heard Keb was when he was the opening act for Bonnie Raitt at either the Orpheum or State theatre in downtown Minneapolis. There was a group of us and from that night on, we've seen almost all of his concerts that have been in Minnesota. It would be great to see him and Bonnie performing together again!!!! WOW.....tons of talent!!!!

Keb' Mo' was his own guest band at the Minnesota Zoo's amphitheater, so we were treated to two sets by this talented blues musician and songwriter. He knows the Twin Cities well, as his in-laws live here. As usual, his easy style captivated the audience, except for the two morons--man and woman apparently trying to impress each other with their uber-loud "witicisms"--sitting behind us who thought we were all there to listen to them act and sound foolish. After a lot of shushing and one outright threat by a very large guy, they got the message and left. From that point, the concert was completely delightful.

Keb' is one of the best showman out there these days. Not only does he deliver top notch music, he entertains the crowd with his witty sense of humor. He is an extremely talented songwriter and every person in the audience could relate to one thing or another in his songs. The house was packed when Keb' took the stage and was welcomed to MN with a standing ovation. There was more of the like to come, I lost count how many times the crowd got up on their feet. If you ever get a chance to see Keb' Mo' get your tickets early because they will sell out quick! He is a must see on your list of shows to attend. I have seen him twice and will never miss a show in my neck of the woods!!

The venue, Marymoor Park. The weather, beautiful, sunny and warm. The music, priceless. Keb' Mo' is one of those rare artists that make you feel like the only person he is singing to is you, even in the midst of a couple thousand people. This was my first time seeing Keb' Mo' and my husband's third. I had considered James Taylor at The Gorge the best concert I had ever been to, now I have a tie for 1st. The music is wonderful, his voice and instrumental talent will leave you hoping for one more song every time. The performance was two hours long and it went by in a blink. At first when he finished I felt like I had been short changed and that it had only been an hour. When I looked at my watch and realized it had been over two hours I realized that I had enjoyed his music much more than I thought I would. His music transported me from a park in Redmond, WA and time had almost stood still.

Even though Keb Mo was feeling under the weather, he still put on a great show. It's nice to see an artist that seems like he is genuinely having a good time performing. This is the second time I've seen him and will see him again the next time he comes by. I'm glad he is headlining now.

Took a friend who had never seen Keb Mo' he was impressed. Having seen Keb" Mo at other venues I was pleased with the show. Would have liked to hear some new music though as the most recent music was from Suitcase (2006). Ryan Shaw can sing for sure. it would have been nice to know ahead of time that there would be a long intermission between acts to present awards for the marathon. We did have a good time and ejoyed our evening

I saw you a few years ago with Bonnie Raitt. What a fabulous show! That's what I was expecting at Marymoor. Didn't happen. Why? The material you played was just not what I wanted to hear. I'm a blues fan and I know you can deliver when it comes to blues. If you ever start playing that wonderful music again I will gladly pay to see you. You are a very talented musician, there can be no doubt, but material is everything. Leave the pop soul stuff alone and just play some sweet blues. I know there were people at the show who loved what you were playing, but it wasn't me. Sorry Keb.

We catch Keb Mo every time he comes around and he never disappoints. The guy has some amazing skills as a singer , player and songwriter. He plays through very modest equipment, nothing flashy and has tone to die for. We cannot recommend seeing him enough. He is a truly underrated genius. What are you waiting for? Go buy a ticket. :)

This was quite possibly one of the best shows I ve ever been to. Keb Mo made it a night to remember with his intimate approach to his fans by including personal stories of his youth as well as light hearted commentary about himself, his music and even past relationships. The whole feel of the show was meant to seam like you were just friends hanging out in his living room at a party or something. It s a must see for true fans.

Keb was his usual self, connecting with the audience through the entire performance. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time as he spun his yarns and accompanied them with some very tasty guitar work (and one tune with his banjo). I especially enjoyed his playing on his National steel guitar. His voice was in fine form and his sense of humor helped my wife and I really connect with his performance. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of Keb's concert. It was just plain fun.The packed audience agreed with me judging from their enthusiastic reception. He is an American treasure!

I ve been listening to this gentleman s music for some years, and it continues to resonate & grow on me. This show, in this venue was as if a group of friends had gathered in his living room and enjoyed an intimate evening listening as he shared several of his stories. I had the most amazing evening at the Keb Mo show! He and his band have an immediate rapport with the audience. Whether it's down home blues or the stunning ballad, "Why Am I Afraid," I was moved body and soul. I even met some of the band members afterwards, and they were so cool and down to earth. A night I will always treasure. Special shout out to Boston-born musician Kevin So! You made Boston proud! "She Just Wants to Dance" brought the house down.

Keb Mo was fantastic! He has so much positive energy onstage. He kept the audience engaged with superb vocals and outstanding guitar playing. I especially enjoyed him playing a steel guitar. I think he played 6 or 7 guitars and a harmonica.

These artists are great but the song choices were sometimes uninspiring. For example, Taj opened with a silly song called Senor Blues while shaking maracas. The show was good when it dug into strong material.

The show itself was fantastic! The band, backup vocalists were great too! Just wish that the Ryman had put on their seating chart limited view from where I was. That was the only disappointing thing. Ended up walking around and standing to see.

From the warm up act Jontavious Willis through Taj and Kebs performance, I was delighted and felt as if I were apart of music history. Both acts were top notch. Jontavious Willis was a pleasant surprise and I have already altered friends about this young man and his talent. Taj Mahal and Keb Mo did not disappoint. It seemed that through their collaboration they took each other out of their comfort zones and produced something wonderful. I am really glad that I was at this concert, especially at the Ryman, because the venue is 50% of the performance.

A young blues player was the opening act, and he could easily have been the headliner. What a huge talent! Can t wait to see him again. Taj and Keb and the band were as good as I expected them to be. I love their record and seeing the songs performed live was really special. And it was also obvious that they shared a mutual admiration for each other and for their music.

I had very high expectations for this concert - Keb Mo and Taj Mahal certainly met those expectations. Each and every musician on stage was outstanding - and they clearly were enjoying themselves. What sent this concert over the top was a terrific and entertaining opening set by Jontavious Willis, and the phenomenal vocals by "back-up singer" Diva Mahal. So pleased to see musicians of this caliber starting their careers. I go to lots of concerts - this one will stick in my memory as one of my favorites! So much fun.

Just an incredible evening of music. The opener was Jontavious Willis and he absolutely blew us away. This young man displayed an amazing talent both singing and playing. Taj Mahal and Keb Mo were spectacular. It has been a while since I have seen the Ryman audience respond the way they did Saturday night.

Really good show. Last 1/2 better than first. But last song of encore was Keb'Mo solo on guitar starting America the Beautiful. KM accidentally kicked plug out with foot that killed sound. But crowd was singing sing back to KM, so just stood and allowed crowd to sing America back to him. Very nice.

We have been fans of Keb' Mo's for over 10 years. Coming from New Orleans and spending time with grandparents in Mississippi and Tennessee, the blues are in my blood. As a child, BB King, Muddy Waters and the like were common performances we were taken to see. This was right up there with those events. Keb' Mo' is wonderful whether playing by himself or with his drummer, bass guitarist, and/or keyboarder. The ease with which they play and move is fun to watch and even more fun to hear. The Parker Playhouse is a great venue and really allowed us to see and hear a brilliant performance and show.

this may sound Bizarre: I only knew the name Keb' Mo'. I can honestly say that, before the show, I was unfamiliar with any of his music. I wanted to see him because of my love for Blues. I was blown away by Keb's show. He's an amazing musician, has great stage presence and his 4 piece band has as good of a time on stage as the audiance did listening. The tempo starting slow and soft and built to a crescendo of aural delight. I'm now a huge Keb Mo fan and plan to see several more times. I went w 6 other friends and we all felt the same! great show! you wont ever regret grabbing a ticket.

We were so impressed by the concert that we actually checked his tour schedule with the idea of "following him". Yep, he made us into groupies!! Do yourself a favor and go to a Keb' Mo' show....... you won't regret it!!

We always enjoy Kebs performance. He is so personable and his music is consistently great! Loved the guest saxophonist!! He added another dimension to the music I love. The venue at Westbury, The Space, is excellent too. Great acoustics and very comfortable place to be. Always a great night with Keb.

I have seen him many times and always love his concerts, yet I can say this was the best in a long time. His band was tight and the harmonies were beautiful!

What a great show! This was my first time seeing Keb Mo perform but it won't be the last. He entertains from the heart and leaves you feeling happy. His music is all at once thoughtful, uplifting and fun. The band was extremely tight and seemed to enjoy every minute of every song. This venue has outstanding acoustics and is one of the best places in New Jersey to see a show. A great night altogether!

I got a kick out it when I realized that Keb' Mo' was a phonetically accurate way of saying Kevin Moore with a drawl. He had a progression from simple traditional blues up through more modern adaptations with a little funk and backbeat. Each song had its own character, as unique as the sound of his various guitars. His vocals were clear, intelligible, meaningful and at times humorous. The keyboard, bass and guitar solos were perfect length and flowed in and out of the main song without effort. I loved the simplicity of the drum kit and how he played just enough, never too much, and metronome like precision. The band chugged along and the groove was infectious. Everyone around me was in the zone, dialed in, and very happy. I am a fan!

If you like Keb' Mo's music, you would love this concert! Old favorites mixed with a few newer tunes, with Keb's sweet humor and gentle wisdom to round it out. Backed by a talented trio of musicians/vocalists, it was a fantastic concert by people more interested playing in good music than performing in some silly "glitzfest," so to speak. Keb and pals went a full two hours (maybe a little more). It was sad to see empty seats. Some folks missed out on a wonderful evening with a gifted guy.

Introducing my husband to Keb' Mo's music and Keb' did not disappoint! The show was great and the acoustics were terrific. I've been watching his tour schedule all year and couldn't find anything near me. Immediately got tickets when I saw he was going to be in Knoxville. Theater was packed. He could have played for another hour and I would have been in heaven. Guys in the band have a great smooth sound. Loved it!

Sorry folks, but this show was wildly disappointing to me, as a long-time fan of Keb Mo. I have heard about G Love, but frankly, he's a garage band at best. Keb Mo was listed 1st on my (birthday gift) ticket, which ALWAYS means he headlines. In this case, Keb opened, had G Love out for 1 song, played for about 40 minutes and left. Change of stage - and G Love played a few songs, then Keb joined for 2 songs, and was gone for the night?? The whole show lasted around 1.5 hrs, we were in the lobby bitching by 9pm!

Keb' played mostly his older and good songs that are always what the crowd wants. His newer stuff was also good, but we seem to enjoy the old things best. He didn't play "City Boy" or a few of the other classics. We always truly enjoy his shows and never fail to go when he is in middle Tennessee and sometimes go much farther to see him. It was his 60th birthday this week so we celebrated it at the show.

Keb Mo now lives in Nashville and I believe was most thrilled to be performing back in his hometown and with Nashville friends & neighbors. Saw Keb Mo perform on the Legendary Blues Cruise a couple of years ago -- he then had limited accompaniment, but now has awesome performers to "back him up". Although advertised as "blues", his performance was very upbeat and not necessarily strictly blues. His personality is so warm & Inviting and his talents are eye-popping. This show was one of the BEST I have been a part of at the Ryman for a number of years.

Keb never fails to move me. His warm up was Kristina Train--also incredible--a Nora Jones-alike voice; smooth and sultry, with a hint of her hometown, Georgia. Bought the CD too. Didn't buy any of Keb's...oh wait, I HAVE all of Keb's CDs already. The man is the greatest. The venue was also very nice, easy parking, had front row center seats--couldn't be better. The food selection was minimal--could use some better options and coffee for my husband ;) who was sick but wouldn't miss Keb for anything.

I enjoyed every minute of his two hour concert. The seats were the best I've ever had. They were exceedingly comfortable and we had an unrestricted view of the stage. So great to see Keb live, and for him to experience Des Moines. He and his group were tight, and generally seemed to be enjoying the set as much as we did. Some 25 songs, using acoustics, electrics, and a steel faced acoustic gave different voicings, and allowed him to display his playing to advantage. After being called back for a three song encore, he ended the night singing the little known third verse of America the Beautiful, then engaging the audience to join him on the better known first verse. A nice way to end the very enjoyable evening. I hope he was sincere in his complimentary words about Des Moines, and will return to impress us again.

First off, venue. The Kalamazoo State Theatre is my favorite. Intimate, incredible acoustics, and a show in itself. I've seen Keb several times. This was the best so far. His band was outstanding. There was a ton of talent on that stage!
