This show was the best jazz show I have seen yet There was never a dull moment and the featuring artists were amazing.

Everything was nice; sounds, seats, nice theater. I like to see Chucho Valdez performance again but with other good bands.

It was a wonderful performance. Both guitarists possess great technique and musicality. The best part of the night was the amazing interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's suite 998 by John Williams. It was flawlessly played. The sound colors Williams gets out of his Smallman guitar are amazing, and his interpretation was unconventional with very well controlled changes in rhythm. John Williams is arguably the best classical guitarist of our time. The duo parts were awesome as well, John Etheridge is a great guitarist who plays with a lot of passion. Both guitarists have a lot of charisma that the audience really likes. A must see.

Show was great. Seemed like the artists were having a blast playing with each other again. do it again soon please!!

A great start to a happy and joyous season. Perfect to put you in the spirit of peace, love, and harmony. Nnenna's voice is a great one, not to miss accompanied by John Brown and the Big Band sound. Great classics will put the jingle bells in your step.

On every level- musically, historically, emotionally and existentially - this experience is impeccable. Chessman's libretto, paired with the grounded and yet transcendent sound of the Kronos Quartet, carries your heart to the heights and depths of this story.Berger's composition has both roots and wings. Van-Anh Vo graces the composition with the delicate presence of a butterfly and resounding thunder claps insisting we pay attention! Eckert ...what does one say? 75 minutes of rising and falling and rising again. The resonant ascendancy of beautiful notes, alternately plunging into discordant hell, was astounding. The talents of Cameron, DeChiazza, Scott, Fraser and Mohr added visual cues that led us in and out of three landings. Exhausted, inspired and struck dumb, I re-entered the world remembering. And to Kristy Edmunds and her team.....Royce Hall rocks in the best ways possible.

This performance has to be one of the best I've ever seen. It was absolutely amazing !! From the cabaret seating to the exceptional talent of the musicians to the after show meet and greet :) Thank you to Joe McBride, Akron Civic Theatre, and all involved with this performance. It was a memorable evening out in Downtown Akron :) Loved it !!

Excellent concert! She sang beautifully, as always. The stage was beautiful with an elegant show of lights and art work by Brazilian artists. Unforgettable!

The First Lady of Boston Jazz put on a full show. Started on time, It was evident she was battling a cold, yet kept a stiff upper lip. Kudos to Rebecca Parris.

the show got off to a slow start-----first five / six songs were uneven---equipment issues then he almost cancelled the rest of the show and walked off, came back five minutes later and probs resolved and played out of his mind. rough start for someone away from the business to have to deal with opening act gold blood and the associates was outstanding,,,,a must see
