Friends opened for Two Door Cinema Club in Oakland and they were terrible. I don't mind things getting 'strange' or 'weird' but what I do mind is poor singing and over the top antics that try and cover for these shortcomings. The lead 'singer' of Friends made more sex noises than actual lyrics and watching Friends was like watching a terrible rendition of the classic film Rocky Horror Picture show.

The distinctive voice and rockabilly styling was in full force on the star at BB King's. Robert Gordon is an original and a voice like black velvet ith a hint of whiskey. Didn't want it to end.

Having seen the movie several times, I finally saw the play. I loved the interaction with the audience; this made it quite a fun show to attend. The actors were superb, the music was excellent. The venue was great, since it really didn't matter where you were sitting, you still had a great view.

THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS, SINCE I WAS A TEENAGER. I FINALLY WAS BLESSED TO GET TO SEE THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. I HAD A PIT TICKET, AND THIS WAS ALSO MY TIME EVER BEING IN THE PIT AT ANY CONCERT! I GOT A SONG LIST AND MY FIRST GUITAR PICK! I FELT LIKE A TEENAGE GIRL AGAIN, BEST CONCERT THAT I HAVE BEEN TO THIS YEAR!!! WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE THEM, STILL DOING WHAT THEY LOVE BEST. Corky was very entertaining. He told some fun stories about writing and performing the music of Mountain. The musicians that played with him were great. Chris Shutters played the guitar and sang with an amazing voice. The guitar work was beautiful and clear. Mark Mikel kept the base thumping and did some great vocal work. For a 70 year old Corky can still play the drums that keep the beat going. I wish him many more years of rock and roll and I will keep my eye out for more musical work by Chris and Mark All in all a great show THANK YOU

It had been awhile since my husband and I attended a concert at the Pageant! This was an early b'day present for my husband! Needless to say, everything was excellent! No problems with traffic, no problems with parking, we had a drink and dinner across the street @ Pi! The staff at the Pageant were wonderful! But most importantly, words cannot describe just how excellent Mama's Pride was! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! The only downside - it would have been cool had some type of plaque been presented to the band from K-SHE!!

What an incredible, fantastic event! The Wilbur Theater was packed to see Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, with David Brock of the tribute band "Wild Child" doing a great Jim Morrison stand-in. They played all the old songs, the favorites, lots of blues. Robby was the highlight of the night with his incredible guitar playing. Brought the house down! I loved that Brock didn't steal the show, which belonged all to the original Doors members, even though Brock looks and sounds like Morrison. This show is a MUST see if you want to experience what it must have been like to see the Doors in concert. The guys, though approaching 70, still have it; fantastic performers and they honestly look like they are having the time of their lives.
