Even though the show "JUNTOS POR PRIMERA VEZ" was about 3 wonderful Latin Salsa artists, I took my Boricua girlfriend and her sister to see La India who is one of our original favorites since we met. I think I was one of the only gringos within a 10 mile radius but I still had a fantastic time! Tito Nieves brought class and fun to the night starting off, and having the salsa dancing couples on stage created a great energy to go along with his swagger. Ending his set with "I Like It Like That" brought the entire crowd to it's feet! La India did not disappoint. After years of loving her even though I had no Idea what she was saying in Spanish was beyond a treat for me! She is super conversational with the audience, sharing everything that is on her mind at length between songs and the crowd was just laughing and loving it like we were in her living room and she was sharing stories over coffee! Her singing was just soul-stirring for me, she brought it! La India's songs for me are more about her sharing her life, her stories, and her soul through her out of this world singing voice that is an experience in and of itself! Issac Delgado was as smooth as his shark-skinned silver suit and actually I think the crowd stood up and danced with his set the most. Perhaps because it was more of a Cuban crowd, that is my guess.

Cudo's to Mr. Fagen for finding the talent these guys have, and displayed Thursday night. Very impressed. Truly was optimistic about the new band- went to see Donald without hesitation and was blown away by the performance of every one on stage. Wow!

My husband and I (early 30s) saw Riverdance's 20th anniversary show with my in-laws (in their 60s & 70s), and everyone absolutely loved it! I have seen Riverdance on television a few times, but seeing it in person is a completely different experience. We were all so amazed by the talent on stage! There were more vocal performances than I expected. I'm a big Irish dance fan, so I could have just watched them dance the entire time. We all LOVED the drummer, and the instrumental performances were very entertaining. Our seats were great - view and sound was awesome. My only complaint is that between each act, they would let the latecomers (and there were a TON) scurry to their seats which was very distracting, and blocked our view significantly. My father in law has mobility issues, so these seats were perfect for our group (with the exception of the distracting latecomers).

Great show and great venue to see this Ex-Kiss guitar legend! Make sure you bring your ear plugs as this was extremely loud! My ears were still ringing even with plugs in. Most of the songs were classics and not much new stuff. Anytime he is near by I would go!

Ah, Pink Martini, that little orchestra from Portland, Oregon. Pink Martini, the band that can not be categorized or placed in a neat little box. Pink Martini, the group that sings in over a dozen different languages, all of them well. Pink Martini, a unit that is chock full of incredibly talented musicians. Seeing them live is always a treat, and this show was no exception. I am not sure what I enjoy more; the music itself, or the banter between China Forbes and Thomas Louderdale between numbers. The band sounded amazing, as always. The Cuban song that Miguel Bernal sang was simply beautiful, I wish I could remember the title. Over the Valley made me tear up, as it has always been one of my favorite PM songs, and was one of my Mother's favorites as well. I lost my Mom in February, and the 29th was my parents' wedding anniversary, so it was pretty emotional. Having my Dad there made it pretty special, and he really enjoyed the show as well.
