Lucky we were to witness this show. History will remember these fellows forever. Music was great . Great that Honeyboy had the energy to sign posters after the show. Just grateful that we had good tickets. Nicew to get the entire group to do an encore!

Alejandro showed an incredible mix of music Saturday night at Madison Theater in Covington KY. The crowd was a bit sparse-- about half filled, but that was not a problem. The beginning of the set was straight rocking, mostly from the new album. The rest of show mixed in old tunes and showed off some great acoustic sounds. One high points was his lead guitarist... the "white guy from Austin" who blistered through rock, jazz, and many traditional mexican tunes. He also filled in nicely for the cello parts which were obviously missing from the simple four piece band. He turned the accoustic guitar into a tension building cello back ground that was the high point of the show. It may sound corny but by the end of the show, the crowd and performer really connected., primarily through Al's ability to tell stories and connect people with his music. Great show. Although I've been a Crowded House fan from their first CD, it's never worked out for me to see them perform live in all those years. Even though the concert was simply Neil Finn solo, I just *had* to be there, and it was a wonderful evening of great music and Neil's charming wit. I'd give high marks just because Neil sang "Hole in the River," one of my favorite Crowded House tunes, and one I never expected to hear live. However, his eight-minute performance of "Silent House" (with ambient electric guitar effects) was simply jaw-dropping. If Neil comes to your town... run, don't walk to see him.

It was a great concert. He played music from his new album along with some of his classic songs with the Eagles. We heard several people complain about the show because they thought he would only be playing his old music. Information about the concert was available online to review beforehand so clearly those that were dissatisfied did not do their research. The concert displayed Glenn's artistic abilities.

It was a small crowd, and that made this show even more better. The tempo of the show was great. And, the Spandau Ballet stuff he did was like a great old friend saying hello. It brought back many memories and it seemed his voice was still as great as I remember it back in the 80's in Irvine.

The combination of these Levon Helm, Ray Lamontagne, and The Secret Sisters was amazing--new and old but they melded so perfectly!

This guy plays amazing bass lines on his 7 string and guitar chords and melodies all at the same time! His drummer is nothing less than phenomenal! Talent like this is indeed hard to find and his show is so enjoyable. I will continue to see him everytime he is in Phoenix.
